Problem - puller is lazy

no matter what I set as puller (war or ranger) it preforms great for 5 to 7 pulls. then he sits on his butt doing nothing. my other group does well no sitting. any ideas?
 
What does your pull section look like in your Kissassist file for your puller?

ok reloaded nav, yes im using it and yes the mesh is today. it pulled 3 mobs fine now sitting (reloaded kiss too)

40 is about the size of camp. Have you tried a bigger number here? Something like 200 to 800? If you check your puller's map after you start KA, the pull radius will be drawn as a blue circle. Are there enough mobs in it? zradius of 20 is also a little small, but could be correct if your zone is very flat, like a inside dungeon or such.

If you're still having issues after changing the radius, what error message are you getting? "Looking for mobs?" Since you're saying multiple toons are having issues, you can check your MobsToPull and MobsToIgnore lists in your KissAssist_Info.ini file in the Release folder. Might have restrictions that are slowing pulls.

eqtrader is correct, 40 radius is very small. I often do like 600 or 800 or 1000 and over 100 z radius for outside zone

^ This is probably what your issue is.

Other things I think of, since groupwatch is off, is it possible your puller is running out of mana - like a bard using vainglorious a little too much?

I copied this ini from here have no idea on the conditions I modded the ini to what I have
 
So you're pulling the same mob, which is basicly in the camp, 5-7 times when it respawns, then the puller takes a break? Sounds like PullPause.
Code:
PullPause=30|2

This will have the puller pause for 2 minutes every 30 minutes to get rebuffs. It will give a message like "Pausing pulls" and then say like "Puller is a 100% endurance, pausing pulls" for the 2 minutes, then restart.

You can set it to 0|0 since your probably getting rebuffed while waiting for the mob to pop.
 
no, its a total of maybe 30 to 40 seconds, fast spawns. it doesn't run for 30 min and the only toons I have a problem with are in this group, no others do it. I have another group same pc running fine with these settings

Perhaps it's the afk tools?
 
Ahh I think I see the issue and I happened to run into it today on my zerker. PullWith=Melee, there's a disconnect there somewhere with the Melee pulling and actually engaging the target where it's losing it's target and stop reacting. Change the pull method to do a spell or ability may sort it out.
 
ok, I think its worked out, thanks chat, makes no sense to me tho, I have a rogue pulling with melee in my other group
 
Warrior pulling with bow is better than melee anyways. Even if that's not the specific issue, I bet it will make the whole experience smoother

Just a side note. You may want to make your CampRadius smaller. That's a little big for CampRadius. Try something 35.

I think in his case though, he's sitting on top of the mob, and that can make bow pulling fail, due to 'too close for range attack' .. I've had times when i've set up a tiny camp specific to a certain mob..

@da Man best case for pulling in this instance would be an aggro disc.. especially if melee pulling is being intermittent..
 
yes the camp radius is a bit big but I have the melee dps at return to camp and the casters off to the side, kinda works out if I have to use the bow @ctaylor22
 
well spoke to soon puller is back to being lazy again even with the bow. lasted a whole 45 minutes today then spams waiting 3 sec for mobs to spawn, and looking for mobs.
