Question - Proper Macro placement

Where do we load the macros which file? i believe it changed and i am not sure where to find my current ones or where to load new ones

you should have a "Macros" folder within your "MQ2" folder wherever you installed MQ2. The macros go in that folder.

If you search for kissassist.mac and put it in the same folder it will most likely be correct.

For me it looks like this:

D:\MQ2\Release\Macros

D:\MQ2
This part has nothing in. Just the next folder.

D:\MQ2\Release\
This part will have some character files that can be tweaked if you want to change MQ2melee and it also contains the MQ2AutoLogin plugin and some other stuff. So if you want to get that working, you set it up in the ini file in this folder.

D:\MQ2\Release\Macros
This part has all the character ini files which is where you set up the character to work in KissAssist. It also has various other useful macros that come as standard. And it is where the kissassist macro itself lives.

The path is set in your MacroQuest.ini folder. It is the top line.
