As @Sic said. Supply and demand. People have lots of Krono right now. We are about 6-7 months from a new expansion, which, if they continue in the same fashion they have, will raise the level cap to 130. That means new, more better, chase loot.
On my server, the most memoryforged desolation gear is being sold for 2M on the bazaar. Some of the better peices still see 3-5M.
So, when people don't need Krono to buy the things, then people can't ask as much if they want to sell them.

I also feel like there's been price deflation on my server. I've noticed that a number of the bot sellers I used to see are no longer around in the bazaar. Most things I sell in the bazaar fetch lower prices than a year ago.
I suspect that a lot of people got banned, and so there's less plat farmers driving prices higher. I have no real evidence though, but that's what it feels like to me.
