so i was reading and from what i read the hatchery got nerfed? also bards can only hit up to 5 mobs with denim’s now? so the question is what’s the PL strategy now if you want to PL new guys?

I can throw some tips your way, but I'd need to know what you have to work with to PL your toons.

Then there is that one super fast quest that will take you from level 1 to 13 in like 5 minutes. One of the big guys posted it in here but can't find it atm. It involves getting a ground spawn in Icefall (?) and turning it into the guy in Cresent Reach. I know that's not much help but I forgot to tag it when I read it months ago.

i used that quest, gets you 1-12, and i have just about any class needed to PL, if those though these 3 are still like level 80/85 rng/dru/enc

where did you read denons only hits 5 mobs now? denons disruptive discord lvl 18 says all nearby creatures not 5

biggest question was if bards are limited to 5 mobs on the denons line now what do you use to hit all the mobs?
Chords of Dissonance is used for Bard. Haven't heard anything about this being changed to 5 mobs. Used hatchery.mac a month ago and everything worked great to about level 70 using a 115 sk.

that does not affect the level 18 denon DoT spell

If you are looking to level up a new toon from start then you can always go to West Freeport and go to the Inn where Lady Shae is and then go to Swin Blackfoot (I think that is his name)..... make sure you have 8 EMPTY BACKPACKS and at least 25k to 100k plat on you (depending on how far you want to level up)...... go to Swin Blackfoot who is right next to Lady Shae fill up ALL of your backpacks with 1k stacks of Red Wine .... after your backpacks are filled all the way up then walk right over to Lady Shae and then hand her 4 stacks of 1000 bottles of red wine and keep on giving it to her until they are all gone.

If you do this starting your character from level 1 you can go to lvl 35 in literally 5 minutes depending on how quick you are. This will cost you about 10-15k plat. The higher level you get the xp will start slowing down but not tremendously slow.

If you want to go from lvl 1-45 you can expect to be spending about 100k plat total. If you really wanted to and plat is not an issue for you you could go all the way from 1-115 but I cannot imagine how much plat that would cost along with the time it would take.

There is also a macro available on RedGuides somewhere that automates all of this for you, If you stand in PoK then run the macro it will auto run you to West Freeport to Lady Shae, it will buy all of the red wine for you from Swin Blackfoot and then it will auto run you over to Lady Shae and start handing over all of your Red Wine to her and then repeat the process, rinse/repeat. You can just run this in the background.

I normally just start 6 brand new characters and do that on all of them running in the background .This is probably one of the quickest ways to get your toons leveled up from scratch in order to start a new team without having to start over from level 1.

Below is the link for the macro that I was talking about above

(EDIT: I also forgot to add that you MUST be a non evil faction character in order to do this, AND ALSO MAKE SURE YOU ARE NOT IN A GROUP AND HAVE NO MERC POPPED UP OR ELSE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR XP)

I hope this was helpful!

Curious how you get above level 10 with this? I just tested this and it stopped at lvl 10 and ran me to pok then ended the macro.

If you want the best Plevel method

Have a 115 druid follow your toon around, have him cast " Wrath of the wild" Its a 100k Damage shield ( up to 10 hits, Recast time is 2 mins)

Can cast this on a level 1 toon

So kill 10 red con mobs at any level , no MERC and NO Healing required in 2 minutes. Then let Druid cast it again

Where do I power level 85 toon to get 115 asap it a pallidin who I am power leveling. I have 115 sk, cleric, bard, 114 mage, 115 beastlord

Hi Elkrez

Well if I had your 115 SK, CLeric, bard, Beast and 114 mage . You are automatically "powerleveling" the 85 toon when you stick him with that team.

BUT if you want fast and easy. I would basically do Frontier mountains until 106 and then from 106 to 112 Gnome memorial Mountain

112 and up do ToV Velks

@Hulkman i was looking to go to GMM with a team between 115 and 100, but would you say they would struggle? The tank is 115 and I can put in 2 healers 119 and 115, but concerned about CC and Dps needed. Any thoughts?

@elkrez I would also suggest you consider someplace like Shards Landing where the mobs will be green/light_blue to your main; team them up with your 85 and MASS kill mobs (that will be red to your 85), and you can use your other toons outside the group to support with heals/dps<50%, to increase the kill rate. There are some nice drops for 90-100 so you'll grab some equipment as you go.

Hi Sinickal

GMM is not a crazy add mob zone. If you have a decent 115 Tank you will be easily fine. Remember the zone was originally for up to level 110.

Of course you will need DPS, if you want to kill fast . But you will not struggle at all

If you want the weaker mobs : Go kill the werewolves mobs , If you want the stronger mobs who give out more EXP, kill the Gnomes and Robots within the mountain

Can cast this on a level 1 toon

So THIS is what some hooligans casted on some spider in Crescent Reach! I was wondering why my decked out twink died instantly to some random mob. I have to appreciate some people's sense of humor. They probably charm/buffed that npc and watched him slaughter people for hours.

Monkers, you can not cast "wrath of the wild " Buff on a NPC

But it can be cast on any player , regardless what level you are . 100k damage shield ( 10 hits) recast 2 mins

Only thing you must do is make sure you hit the mob first before he hits you to get EXP
