There were 2 separate eqgames.exe files that downlaoded today. The 2nd one replaced the first which was different than the 4/13 patch.

The patch was an addition for a new TLO that didn't exist that was added for us by request.

MQ2-20110419.zip

- added Me.SkillCap

maybe it was just the new fix for skill cap checking it out

Just finished patching and there was no eqgame.exe that downloaded.. Not sure if the server missed something, or what, but it is letting me log in, with the temp version of MQ running still.

I bypassed the patcher and was able to log on without patching. Everything seems to be working.

The new eqgame downloaded this morning but was causing tons of zone crashes, So they replaced it with another one that matched the old one. If you patched later there was no change because it was a roll back,

I'm kind of new to this community of MQing and just recently came back to EQ. Am I reading this right as the EQdevs took a request from the MQ community and implemented it into the game? So the devs are OK with people MQing? Confused...

HELL NO. lol the MQ2 Devs not EQ took a suggestion from us and programmed it into the most recent Macroquest2 release. As far as SOE is concerned if you don't screw with other people's playing experience in game they will gladly take your money whether you mq2 or play normally.
