i get the blue box window to come up when i run overseer and click ok to install then it hangs for 5 to 10 seconds and then i get the red text.

I think something was off with the build and I think it shipped the wrong luarocks, which tries to download with the 32bit instead of 64bit

couple people reported it this morning, and i know we had previously fixed this is why i wanted to check with you

First time using the script or did this just start after the update of MQ? You don't have the correct version of sqlite installed. Look in your modules folder for
D:\MacroQuest\modules\2.1.1774638290\luarocks\...

it just started after i did the update. was working right before that eq patch
i thought all that stuff updates when i do the RG update.

When I get the notification to install luarocks and click install it crashes eq.

I have a request.

I set collection as my overseer's reward.
but sometimes my agents not enough or collection quests not enough so overseer just do 4 or less task only.

Would be pleasure if lua can just grab any other such as recruit or others to make sure do 5 quest per round as it can.

Was this able to be done?

Mine keeps ending due lsqlite? Anyway to fix that? Was working till last compile.

**EDIT** I downloaded the luarocks file from redbot above and it then installed when the window showed up and this seemed to fix it.

can just make a 3 line macro with /overseer mass convert common/uncommon/rare and it will be faster. can even broadcast it to your group or toons so they do it all at once.

I'll try deleting the base file and reinstalling it

Keep getting the following error :

[STEP] Error in RunGeneralQuests: disk I/O error

and then it just cycles through the quests endlessly cycling through the above error.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

EDIT : Think I found the fix. For some reason the Lua\Overseer folder had all files set to read only. I removed this and now it seems to work.

Im having the same problem, since the start of the expansion, i cant seem to fix it myself. I deleated the file from the folder and reinstalled and still no fix.

I had a similar issue, but removing current files and downloading directly from github source fixed it. I now have the option for The Outer Brood. Not sure if file on here is different version (missing 3e2ac8e) or how the Redfetch updates work, but this was the only thing that enabled the option for me. I know we have plenty of nice people on here that are smarter than me and can troubleshoot. Hope this helps point in a direction.

its a good idea. but you need to be smart with it. we have tools set up for it. I got a whole work fly set up for AI to help with MQ stuff lol

the stuff that is downloaded from redfetch and the files on this git(https://github.com/burdsjm/Overseer) are the same. I just checked them all.

ok thanks for checking, when i copied and pasted the File from Red guides over the Gethub one it copied over some and installed some new files in that folder. That's why I thought it was different as well as the folder names being different on my machine anyways.

only files that should not be the same are some users only files.
