RGMercs Outside assist buffs/heals?

I'm not sure if I have it misconfigured or if I don't understand the full capabilities of OA.

I have a druid I am attempting to PL to my group level (or close)
I have my Shaman setup to follow him and the druid is set as his outside assist.

Is there a way to get the shaman to buff/heal the druid?

No buffs through RGL, no, they check yourself or your group depending on the buff. Outside assist is used as an MA outside of your group.

Healers should/will check xtargets to heal, however (I've never actually tried personally). We may extend buff functionality to this in the future as well, but particularly in this situation, you wouldn't want the same buffs anyways.

I've used ppl.mac for what you are describing.

Is working quite well! Awesome addition to the already great RGMercs Lua

I wanted to come back and say again how great this has worked for me.

It's made PL a toon so much easier. I dread adding a box to my group every time because it's a slog to get them to group level but using the upgrades to OA made it simple and easy.
I just set the new toon on "hunt" and "hunt from player" with the pulling levels blue-red and have the rest of the group following them as the OA. Between heals and buffs they can take on the world.
