As everyone here is more versed in multi-boxing and the larger game. I figured you would be able to provide guidance.

With Omens opening relaxed true box later this year om the latest TLP server what would be the optimal box or boxes for the following main/personas?

Main (personas): BRD, BST, CLR, PLD, SHD, MAG - I have mainly played the bard and beastlord, but enjoy leveling the tanks. I'm fond of soloing no matter the class.

I was think of adding a second account but relaxed true box allows for three accounts. So what would be optimal for a duo or possibly a trio to play to live?

I figured either heal support or some form of box friendly caster.

Box 1 ideas:
  • DRU - works well with BST, MAG, Tanks
  • SHM - works well with any of the persona
  • MAG - works with any of the personas
  • NEC - works well BRD, PLD, CLR
Box 2 idea: IDK maybe a box friendly dps? ROG?

I’d consider Sk, bst(slows n dps), and cleric. Reason being shamans aren’t great healers till 100 plus if I’m not mistaken and you won’t have a cleric merc for a while either.

BRD, BST, CLR, PLD, SHD, MAG

Fire the Pally replace with ROG. That was my setup for years and never had a problem with any grp content

i could see a toon (esp a melee toon) having an enchanter persona to swap and give C to the rest of the group

having an enchanter, shaman, and gnome/rogue for TS is handy too

Thank you for the responses everyone. I probably did not explain the situation and the ask well. However, from reading more of the site and looking at other resources I have a better idea. For the initial box at least.

So presently I have a single account that I'm paying the sub to play on Teek. On this account I have been using personas on a single character instead of playing alts. That toon is a level 65 bard and beastlord, level 40 something cleric, paladin and shadow knight, and with a level 20 something mage.

So I was hoping to find a single class to box via another account when Omens unlocks that works with any of the personas.

The most likely box that works for all of the personas appears to be shaman. Other classes may work better for one persona over another but shaman seems to support the majority for the long term. A bard would seem to be next logical box for the tanks and beastlord, possibly the mage and maybe the cleric. Just not for the bard persona. A third option for this box i guess is to level a beastlord instead of a shaman. Which should duo well with any of the personas. Just seem kinda funny to play two beastlords at the same time.

Still no ideas on adding a second box as I'm still working on the concept for the first one.

Thank you all again for your input and consideration.

It depends on what you are looking for. If you have healing/tanking covered, then are you wanting a puller(bard) or DPS(melee - rouge, caster - mage), or buffs(shaman, ranger, enchanter). If you need help healing, I would recommend a shaman.

I’d say an sk would be a viable partner and strong 2nd box but a mage would be a fine stand alone box as well and if you re going to grouping with others using these toons a caster would be less suspicious when you’re automating vs a melee.

Shaman is probably your best bet, but I'd also add that a druid is quite versatile for all those boxes as well.

Druid can port, heal, dps, charm (animals), and not in the too distant future, they will have Reptile which is a great healing buff for your SK. Also, Shared Camo is amazing as is Teleport Bind, but both of those are a bit farther away.
