dannet is loaded.. they are all using the same network interface on the same PC..

main toon picks a monster and zones in, rest sit around and craft mtp's//

Do you have any errors on the alts that arent running it? Are they in the group, in pok, etc? Any errors or indications the macro is running or attempted to run? Have you tried unloading and reloading dannet? For some reason it was hanging and not transmitting info between clients for a little while.

Everyone is in the group. No Errors. All in PoK. Unloaded Dannet, rebooted, and loaded it again. The 5 toons just says the hands free part and sit there..
 
Odd. Okay. I'll play around with it later tonight at work if I can squeeze some time in. we've been pushing 500ms+ latency so I haven't been able to log in or stay connected. but I'll see if I can fiddle.

Any chance you might have a plugin that might be interfering? I haven't tested with the cwtn plugins. mq2nuke was causing issues for a few I think. not sure what other plugins might be a factor, I run sub 14 plugins when im playing so a vast majority of them i havent experimented with.

I did notice.. when I /dtell to chat it only shows it running from each eq instance. the receiver never gets the message ...
 
I'm sure whatever is the cause is not the macro itself but the communication between the peers.. which I did a peer check and it only lists the 1 toon on each instance. So there is something stopping itself from talking to itself.. somewhere..

That's good info right there. I wonder if @dannuic has any input to that with respect to dannet.

My guess is when it asks you to allow things public and private and you only select public that could by why,, but just a guess//

I also believe it may be self inflicted or 3rd party app related. or both, or neither of course..

Anyhow.. I got 5 out of 6 toons running great..the 6th fizzled out because of some shrouding varsetting but that could also be my doing..

In this case DanNet works, the mac works, just need to watch the individual config on the system.
 
Which of course I struggle with meshes sometimes too.. :(

When I three boxed these I would use a MAG, SK, and CLR.. slow to go.. but worked great.. :)
 
Before or after the lava? @levox did the pathing over the lava to imps and had some kinks in it.

After the imps right before djarn, I've seen random moments where it will do that and not walk to djarn. Then the next time it will...

It happened right before getting to the solid ground and it was over the lava.. everyone had DMF.

That's a @levox question. We fiddled with it a bunch to get over the lava but sometimes they get stuck in a weird mq2nav loop. I think he was using a move to command that got things across the lava but I'm unsure without looking at the code offhand.
 
After a prolonged battle with the Froglok Crusader.. everything went as planned and lguk panned out great!
 
character fell or was pushed off in dguk murky waters.. went to davy jones locker..

went back in ran to the group, DGUK completed successfully.

The lava part was a nightmare trying to make a mesh that worked. The way it works is you path down to the bottom of ramp, then everyone waits and rebuffs, meds to full, then a /moveto command is issued to get across the lava. After that /nav picks back up. We didn't build in a check to make sure the /move worked so what happened in your case is it ran the /move command, paused long enough to get to where it should be, then picked up and tried to /nav. If you aren't on the other side of the lava when that happens then it'll break cause it can't find a way to /nav across the rocks.

I've run it hundreds of times and maybe have had that happen once or twice, mostly when I fiddle with something and mess it up myself like trying to pre-pull the imps cause I'm impatient.

IF you still have recurring issues (looks like it worked on next run) let me know. I have a mesh that will work and can share, but not sure if it's something that's ready for release to all.
 
So random getting stuck in water + no DMF = dead.. :)

This is on a red server so there is an 18-20 second delay to cast spells unless the character moves.. which is why half the characters are DMF'd and the others drink water until they swim with the fishes.

Not doing anything in particular and no deaths in DGUK.. and not re-zoning in.

Could be related to not having DMF... Which could be related to initial zone in and buffing, which is caused by PVP server blocking spell casting when zoning in.

I guess buffing and stuff should take place after "Runes Of Zek" wears off or is auto clicked off?

Set delay to 90 seconds instead of 30 when zoning in. everyone DMF'd up in Naggy..

Issues:

1) navigation , this is known.
2) shroud setting and aborting.. sometimes the shroud /varset doesn't work and the character doesn't select a monster.
3) no next/for issue usually when zoning in after a death
4) no re-start, not an issue, just a desire..
5) I hailed OMM and said groups, and then cancelled out. The macro says I have a shared task, I checked, none have it, I logged out and in, still persists.
After full reboot am able to start the script.

Is this to help do the raids for Naggy and Vox raids to unload the rezstick?

I cant get it to run at all with exactly 3 people in group. Only accounts active right now.

i changed /error to /echo, but it gets stuck here

It honestly isn't great with 3 chars but we have heard that it works for some people. It's really made to train through the zone and with 4+ you have enough dps/heals to make that work. The line you need to fix is below

INI:
    /if (${Group.GroupSize} <= ${cgs}) {

Change that to

INI:
    /if (${Group.GroupSize} < ${cgs}) {

The first one is checking if group size is 3 or less (which it's failing, so it's ending). Removing the "=" will fix that. I'd go ahead and put the /error back in, it's supposed to be there.

Alternatively you could leave the first part and change the 3 below to 2.

INI:
    | Verify enough in group (Min 3)
    /call checkGroupSize 3

Unfortunately we probably won't develop anything to support a 3 person group at this time. Maybe when Tempus is back in country. My time is too limited at the moment.

Works now, however, i had to pause it and try to get my toons out. It does not handle underwater combat very well, because breathing issues x:
and keeps targeting corpses and trying to cast, or being oom and trying to cast in combat. probably why you had the 4 in mission for enough dps, huh?

Yes with 3 you get ench/shm/mag which covers a good pet, some heals, and aoe mez from ench. What's missing is levitate, see invis (for harvester), and EB (really for guk tunnel cause otherwise levi should keep you out of water/lava). With 4, you get those three and add in a necro for DMF which is really needed.

We could have added levi/see invis from either the ench/shm but really designed it for 6, and tweaked it enough to where it worked with 4. There were lots of changes to be made to make it work regularly with 3 and we ran out of time. Tempus and I had a long list of improvements to make and hopefully we'll get to it at some point.

Understood, thanks. I didnt know about alwaysnpc, I do /hidec npc every so often, but always, interesting :)
 
I am working on the raid macro for naggy/vox. overall works pretty well. However, I use the /dggae /nuke and not much happens. I saw the discussion of having pet up, not invis, etc which were all true but do I need to setup more for the nuke to be used?
 
I have been using the group ones and they have been great. I gave the raid a shot and I believe it was working as intended. I was able to get naggy solo at the end but was not able to win with 6 (more like 5 because I lost my necro on the pull). Has anybody beaten this with 6 or would it be best to make a few more accounts and power up a few to add to the crew? Looking forward to the rez stick.
 
The Raids for naggy and vox can be won with as few as 2-3 mages just spamming pets. it largely is centered around the mages avoiding being melee'd / feared / ae'd by said dragon, and keeping your pet around the corner as well. See the strat for each one that I posted with pictures. if the mage pets dont have taunt on, or dragon is OOR of their attack range then bad things will happen. FWIW, it took me several encounters before i started ironing the kinks out of those events by hand.

to use the /nuke command during the naggy/vox 'raid', it's largely used for clearly trash mobs out. if you dont have a pet, or are invis it isnt going to trigger. Also, the spell will not land on giants unless you are 30 units or closer to said giant. Because giants are belly casters. if your guys arent responding, look to see if you are using mq2nuke (afknuke?) plugin which conflicts with this command. Also, if they arent receiving the broadcast via dannet, it's possible your dannet guys arent communicating, which another poster identified a solution for (thats a dannet issue not a macro issue)

When i can get some time ill try to build a check into the macro for skipping corpses. but being deployed overseas, work keeps me down pretty frequently :)
 
How tf did I miss those images? I had it set up a bit differently but the overall concept was the same. Odd. Will give it another go!

Edit 1: Got it done but there was one small hiccup. I jumped the gun a bit on sending the pets on naggy and he got stuck around the doors. The pets started wigging out and running all over the place, including back into the room where the toons hang out. Got naggy repositioned and went smoothly from there.
Edit 2: Vox dead and staff is visible on OMM and only 24 more to go. First pull was ugly but almost took her down with 2. Next pull was a touch chaotic but got all in the cubby and that was that. Thank you!
Edit 3: Another toon on the shaman account had a few hundred thousand overseer currency so went ahead and bought it. Can't wait to...die? ;)

Hell yeah! Im glad it worked out for you! =) The 'walk through' isnt very visible, I admit. So it's easy to miss if you arent trawlin through the entire thread. Having a step by step helps a lot, and you've seen it now, so if you go back for whatever reason, it'd be flawless most likely. Good times!
 
@TempusX, @levox , having gone through the group missions a few times now, can we consider having the casters med through the "pet-only" fights, like the upper guk crusader spot. My guys were consistently LOM and standing, with no combat actively happening where a situation would make them get hit. And some of the routines were trying to use AA's with no LoS, presumably trying to nuke.
 
My first time trying any of these missions so I guess I was trying and am trying Nagafen's Lair..
 
Tried it again. Macro ended , peeps in lava, same thing. Guess this is broken? I download and put the mesh file and everything else I thought I needed to do. Anyone doe this one recently?
