I have downloaded update, updated the program several times, and made stuff with the program, yet now when i do searches for NoS stuff, it comes up blank. Anything before NoS still shows up, just NoS is gone. What did i mess up?

exit TCSNeXt.. /Lua run nosdbupd
 
Looks like base dmg is better on the grubsmasher, but not much else? With 29dmg type 4

The recipe for Spiritually Faded Luclinite Buckler is wrong on EQTraders, it should be Buckler Plans instead of Bow Plans.
 
wasn't sure where to put this, but noticed when I made this item.. when I was done I had 40 but the interface said 0.(had made 30)

I'm having the same issue. I couldn't get the NOS update via the launcher, so I purchased it manually and downloaded it to my computer. I installed it in the Lua folder, but I get the same error when I use this command, /Lua run nosdbupd. The error says, cannot find nosdbupd in the file system. The files I downloaded don't have that file either. As far as trouble shooting, I have placed the downloaded files in various locations in the Lua folder but that hasn't fixed it. I'm using Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt 3.68b, but it doesn't recognize NOS recipes yet. Please help, thank you.
 
So what exactly does this do that Jandes doesn't? Or is Jandes no longer being updated?

I assume you are asking about the update and not the resource, the update just provides the recipes for Night Of Shadows.

Uh the best way is to watch the resource so it all happens magically, or should, if not. you will have to make sure the NOSDBUPD.Lua file is in the Lua directory with the update database file.

Thank you very much for your help. I got it to work once I learned how to "Watch" the Lua and get it added to the launcher. Thank you again for the quick response. The new update and the program itself saves me a lot of time, I'm thankful.

That was my point. Is it not getting updated recipes anymore? I mean ones a lifetime purchase that WAS getting updated as new recipes were added last I knew, the others just an update that's 50% cost of the original. Is it because one stopped getting updated or you just did it faster or something? Will next year's be another purchase or included?

Each recipe update will be a cost at less than a 1/3 of the cost of TCSNeXt, There is someone that is updating the recipes for Jande's resource AFAIK, I think they are near the end for NOS. However, with regards to functionality, utility, and user friendliness, I believe TCSNeXt has the market cornered.

It does the trophy quests beginner to expert, the merchant alliance quests, the artisan seals, batch mode, GOD freebies, TSS freebies, item lookup, lists , depot and bank shopping, guild hall and dragon hoard shopping, and requests item from other characters via Dannet and the character brings you the item, etc...

I'm a businessman, I'd just make it a flat rate with a yearly renewal for the whole thing.
 
@jb321 can you check this recipe? I had all components to make it yet it was stuck scrolling saying was out of materials( I tried restarting and such)

seemed to be stuck on making the "trillion cut spiritual luclinite topaz" I went and manually combined that and then manually made spear..

It's making square cut when it should be trillion.
 
Just ran into the same problem with the Spiritually Faded Luclinite Short Spear, it created a square cut gem instead of trillion and then the final combine just kept erroring out, and since I had "Continue" checked, it just did it in loop :p
