Question - New to this

I currently have an 85 SK 80 druid and 75 chanter on Mischief, I am looking to level up in MG instance, can either drive with my SK or Druid, just wondering what I could use to best facilitate this group with plug ins or what not. Should I use mercs and since I am now a paying member do I have access to the mq2 features. I have a busy life, so anything to help me simplify my eq experience would be premiere, thanks in advance. Can and will purchase things that help me.

Well so far you are on the right track it seems. You have level 2 in the forums here. So with that you get all this:

• Very Vanilla, the ultimate multi-boxing utility. Works on official servers & test server.
• Support for any issue you run across.
• The largest macro and Lua collection for EverQuest on the internet.
• Can give "RedCents" to other users
• KissAssist - the quickest and easiest Everquest boxing macro.

It is very overwhelming at first, and can be frustrating. But stick with it and you'll be golden. I'm pretty sure I had to watch some of Sics videos like 5 times to really absorb everything. If you want plug and play, and don't mind spending a little, CWTN plugins are your best bet.

I am taking a break tonight but will be on tomorrow need to watch my football games. But yes I do not mind paying for my fun I am at a point in my life where that type of money is not a thing and it will help because I have very little time to play my little niche fun thing. I just have no clue how to use these things so tomorrow I will have more questions for sure thanks for all the fast responses and have a blessed night.

I have not watched the videos to the right but I will as I watch my football games tonight thank you for your fast response I do appreciate that and I truly hope to have the best of times when I can play I work railroad time so it is rough I get an hour here or 48 hours there. Watch the vids in Sic's signature (I'm sure he will post soon if he has not done so already while I'm typing this).

Once you have an idea of how things work, you'll want to look into some automation options. Check out Kissassist Beginners Guide, Kissassist Commands , RGmercs, and especially cwtn plugins ( you can also /testcopy your toons and use the cwtn plugins there for free and you'll want to spend some time looking at CWTN Plugins Explained.).

I suggest getting your feet wet slowly and be patient as it takes time to absorb all this information. Try taking your toons somewhere safe and lower level at first and explore the automation options. It takes some time to get used to, so don't be surprised it if feels overwhelming at first.

Once you feel like your're getting the hang of it (or to get a more in depth idea of what this site can do), then check out the plugins, macros, and lua's available to complement your automation. Things like MQ2pluginmanager, buttonmaster, mq2autogroup, MQ2Autoaccept, MQ2Status, GuildClicky, Boxhud, MQ2Buffme , and more. You'll also want to see Lua event manager.

How do you get to see and experience all of this you ask? You need to be a level 2 member. To do that you have 2 options. First, you can subscribe (paid method) or second, you can use Red Cents. What the heck is a Red Cent you ask? Red Cents can you help with your subscription and it's the currency this site uses. Contribute helpful information (post here) and others will give you red cents and each red cent you give others returns one to you. check it out! Red Cents

Welcome, Its always worth watching the videos a few times. You will get it. I been a way a while and took me most of the day to get used to all the new features but this community is great with helping out.

MG is currently the best EXP that the server has going on, but with some mobs having a knock back and getting stuck behind things it can suck. Use mercs and block most of the clr spells or you may die a lot.

Also keep in mind that there is a portion of the population on the server that hate the fact that Truebox is gone and my report unusual behaver so please be careful. If you're going to automate your group please be at the keyboard watching to prevent anything that could compromise your toons
