Re: NA Official MQ2-20110416 Compile Release

Bump. Patch broke a lot of MQ2Pax features see compile news above. We are working on fixing them and will you keep you posted.

Re: NA Official MQ2-20110416 Compile Release

First, many thanks for all the hard work. In the temp release on Sunday, RWarp and Piggyzone were working. Now I don't find them in this release and the temp is no longer available for download. Am I missing something?

Lol not sure what you downloaded but warp & piggyzone are all in this compile and load automatically as usual. I just downloaded it and tested.

mq2docrack error

Ran mq2docrack and got and "no ini key found for seeinvis" after trying to turn seeinvis on then when doing a list returned multiple error lines culminating in

"CCommandHook::Detour(/docrack list)error"

Yes the Very Vanilla and NA Official is for the Live servers. We have other compiles for EMU in a separate forum.

Re: NA Official MQ2-20110416 Compile Release

All EverQuest Live Servers will be coming down on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 5:00 am US Pacific (US Pacifc-PST is -8 GMT: 6:00 am MST, 7:00 am CST, 8:00 am EST, 1:00 pm GMT, 14:00 CET) for maintenance. The servers are estimated to be unavailable for approximately 3 hours. Keep an eye on the EQ Players website and the forums for status updates and for news if additional downtime is needed. In addition the Guild Lobby on the Antonius Bayle Server will come down 2 hours early for maintance on its server

Re: NA Official MQ2-20110416 Compile Release

I dunno why I crashed, it probably had nothing to do with pax, but yeah, I ran around for a few minutes on 2 and I went LD. It was worth it though to train those douchenozzles that kept stealing my pulls I was splitting on the MG event. I guess I got a good use of MQ until the patch. I was online until 7:30am when they called out the servers were coming down. I have finished 13.5 augs in two days of camping MG for around 10 hours a session. Two on my monk, two on my beast, two on my ranger buddy, two on my wizzy buddy, two on my cleric, two on my shaman and almost one on his ranger so far.. Plus I helped another guildie get one done on his main, still has to start on his bst bot. That's a lot of flame suits let me tell you! It helps to be playing during the evening hours esp those sunday nights/monday mornings where EQ is a ghost town. I really really wish they would up the drop rate on the capacitors.. the mounts look so fun and I wish everyone could get one. I have not seen ONE of the capacitors drop for the mount since I started camping MG in DSH.. That's ridiculous imo even for EQ time sink standards.

Re: NA Official MQ2-20110416 Compile Release

Personally, I find /speed 1 to be a little faster than normal. Here's what I use.

I have 3 speed hotkeys.

1) /speed 1. I hit this after each zone or evac pretty much regardless of who is around. This does move me faster than default. I assume /speed 1 is "normal" for a character with run 3 AAs. On progression, even /speed 1 is noticeable if you are running with a group. I manually type in /speed 0.8 if I am running with peeps and this keeps me about even with everyone.

2) /speed 1.2 This is what I use when soloing. I keep it at 1.2 unless I am close to other players.

3) /speed 3 I use this when there is no one else (that i can see) in a zone, and only for short distances. Honestly, I almost feel safer just fippyzoning if I am traveling through. I do sometimes hit speed 3 if I am kiting and snare was resisted. As a SoW class, I do have at least a little expectation of running faster, but if anyone is within sight of me I don't go that fast ever.

I've never gone any faster than 3.

Blame dragonfire he had to have his Me.SkillCap

MQ2Pax stuff is still busted we are working on it.

Re: NA Official MQ2-20110419 Compile Release

mq2feedme creates its own ini file. However, the default file does not contain the syntax for specifying what food and drink to use. The official post doesn't mention it, and the mq2wiki doesn't tell you, either. Instead it gives you a link to a restricted post at the MQ2 web site. Can someone tell me the syntax for the ini file?

Hey, you are not my EX (though you look a bit like her in your signature) you can't blame me for that!!!! :-)

Re: NA Official MQ2-20110419 Compile Release

On the last post Maskoi about the string issue. I wasnt running any macro's other than what would normally load with your compile. Not sure why that issue was happening. Only thing I can think of was that a file did not copy over correctly on that vanilla mq.

The Vanilla compile the String TLO was disabled years ago by the MQ Devs

The Official Compile we enable the string TLO because it is needed for our warp and piggyzone plugins

  • MQ2DoCrack.ini - Thank you Wink-
    [*]MQ2Pax - Fixed

Good News Everyone!

Abyss has given us permission to use his MQ2AnyTaunt for our NA Official compile. The plugin will now be included with our normal NA Official Compile.

If anyone has used and liked this plugin be sure to Redcent Abyss for sharing it with us.

Requires MQ2Addicts to be loaded.

Plugin linked in 1st post with compile.

Redcents given!

Maskoi, quick question about the fippyzone. I told you I was crashing on the second character, and I've found that I crash only on my enchanter. The cleric/shadowknight can dual box fippyzone, but the enchanter still crashes.

That is really odd. I was testing the new fippyzone with my pimpin lv 6 cleric enchanter and pally. I don't recall any issues at all on the chanter or otherwise, Make sure you are typing in /fippyzone and not just /zone. Are you on fippy or vulak and where are trying to zone to that you are crashing.

Vulak, anywhere from commons on chanter. It doesn't matter where I'm going. Cleric from commons is fine. I have MQ2zone unloaded so I don't use the wrong one =)

Where is enchanter bound? Try binding like 1 zone over see if you still crash.

All EverQuest Live Servers will be coming down on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 12:00 am US Pacific (US Pacifc-PST is -8 GMT: 1:00 am MST, 2:00 am CST, 3:00 am EST, 8:00 am GMT, 9:00 am CET) for maintenance. The servers are estimated to be unavailable for 9 hours. Keep an eye on the EQ Players website and the forums for status updates and for news if additional downtime is needed.

The Anniversary is OVA :(
