--Current Compile Updated with: (MQ2-20101026) Updated: 10/26/2010

A few changes:
MQ2Addicts is required if you're going to run our packet hacks in order to use the following plugins. MQ2AASpend, MQ2OcFarTrade, MQ2Pax, MQ2Piggyzone, MQ2RWarp, MQ2Supercast, MQ2ZoneLock

It should autoload if you use the Macroquest.ini in the compile. If not, please /plugin MQ2Addicts in game. Packet blocking is no longer part of MQ2Main.


MQ2DoCrack.ini is included. Thanks Czarman!

I'll say it again just in case it was missed: MQ2ADDICTS is REQUIRED if you want to use our packet hacks. Please be sure to load (/plugin MQ2Addicts) it in game if you do not use the Macroquest.ini I provide, which will load it automatically.

Request here, don't know if it's even possible, can you implement something like mmostealth that JMO did? Very useful. /stealth on and you can run around zone, /stealth reset and your back to where you stealthed, very useful for exploring/finding things.

Also, what does mq2pax do?

JMO's compile didn't have stealth. Its the same compile as mine, I have taken over compiling for NotAddicted.com from JMO http://forums.notaddicted.com/announcement.php?f=72&a=77.

/stealth is a command of a plugin from another site's compile. Currently we do not have an equivalent plugin. We used to and it was called MQ2Ghost. As soon we finish updating everything for House of Thule. We will be updating our MQ2Ghost. It is a very useful plugin for getting around the zone without aggro,

/gank - pick up item that has been targeted with /itemtarget
/hailtarget - hail your target from anywhere inzone.
/saytarget - say anything to your target from inzone.
/sumcorpse - Summons targetted corpse to your feet. (Must have consent)

Im crashing everytime i hit the melee button. not sure whats doing it.

You are probably crashing on mq2melee due the item changes in mq2 and house of thule.

1. Login your toon
2. /melee save
3. /plugin mq2melee unload
4. Attack something see if you are still crashing.
5. In your MQ2 folder find your mq2melee ini file, servername_Toonname.ini. Open it note pad and Private Message (PM) me the settings.

Hopefully we can figure out what is crashing you to crash.
 
quick question. With mq2melee in Jmo's old compiles my warrior used to stick to the mobs once i turned attack on. Now he just sorta stands there. I'm sure some command just got messed up in after HoT. Do you happen to know off hand how i can get the war to stick again?
 
# stickmode=[on|off]
If on, it will use the stickcmd as defined in the INI file, if off, it will use the default stick command.

so try /melee stickmode=on

To stick MQ2Melee requires MQ2Moveutils. Try typing the following

/plugin mq2moveutil unload
/plugin mq2melee unload

/plugin mq2moveutil
/plugin mq2melee

/melee stickmode=0
/melee stickrange=75
/melee save
 
so try /melee stickmode=on

The easiest is to use /melee stickmode=0.

/stickmode=1 needs a custom predefined "StickCmd=hold 10 moveback" in the ini file which most people don't have.

meh, I didn't use mq2melee. I wrote out my own macros that handled combat, so it was a guess based on the syntax's of mq2melee
 
Some reason with new mq2melee, berserkers wont hit Energetic Axe Throw, but instead seem to be trying to chain snare the mob. I turned vat off and it did not help at all.. any help?
 
Energetic Axe Throw hasn't been added yet. Will be out in the next day or 2 after I finish everything on the list to be added.

I may need to add a snare message for Crippling Strike series I will have to look at it.

The variable was changed for crippling strike recently to shorten it and may actually change again for compatibility.

Try /melee cripstrk=0

MQ2Exchange died with the new expansion and was complete rewritten by pms. The newest version is included in our compile. It does not do everything the old one did yet because the MQ2 devs have not figured out the new inventory/bag system 100% yet.

What are you using for looting that doesn't work?
 
i really liked that shambot one wonderful thing seems to do it all... growth, heals, hots, dots, canni, and loots.. other then my cold pepsi i love it.

i liked it mostly cause of all the trade skill items it added up for me made working on them so much nicer
 
Is the /gate broke or am I forgetting to do something? I thought it was part of Addicts but doesn't seem to be working.

- Fixed SelectedItem and some crashes

This update wasn't so much for the casting item issues. They are still around until they replace/fix the old moveitem function. There are several ideas still being discussed but no clear path yet. I talk to MQ2 devs, monitor the changes and progress daily.

The fix was primary for baz macros but they still can causes crashes. I haven't had any reports of crashes on our 10/26/2010 compile. We are going to leave the current compile up for this weekend while we test and try to fix several broken plugins.

I am also finishing up MQ2Melee updates. I will see if there are any other MQ2 source releases over the weekend. Expect to see an updated compile Monday ish
 
ahh ok yeah adding piggy worked, It must have just been included in the old addicts because I only had to plugin in addicts/pax for /gate to work. Thank you for the help.

Thanks. There are some major plugin updates coming in the next day or 2 as well. So I will be releasing a new compile in next few days.
 
I am working on it now. We have some good news. MQ2 source code was just released about an hour ago.
