MQ2War

Plugin - MQ2War 3.1.52471.11

Yes, everything is already setup. Spells are known for every level. Automatically updates what it uses when you scribe a spell or tome or get a reward. Automatically uses AAs as you unlock them etc.
If you have clickies you'll have to set them up but it's really straight forward setting them up.

I don't see "MQ2Druid" and some other classes, can I still use MAUI for my druid and other classes that you haven't built for yet? Will they still work together with MQ2Cleric, MQ2War, MQ2Enchanter, MQ2Mage and MQ2Shaman? Will everyone in the group still receive buffs, even with playing with other people that are in my group?

I mainly just want to make sure everything works together, I'm definitely willing to pay for your program/subscription but just worried my other classes won't work well in conjunction with it? I sometimes have my druid, enchanter or magician outside of group and have it set to assist my warrior in the main group, will I still be able to do this?

Thank you for helping answer my questions, much appreciated!

I run a mix of CWTN, KA and RGmerc's. They all work together, some of the command lines are different, check out Sic's line of videos and guides. It covers from getting them started, to issuing commands, to moving them around (mixed CWTN and KA programs).

You can have the character outside of your group help with heals/buffs by turning on the Xtarget heal/buff options, but the character outside of group will not help DPS a mob unless you are in a raid setting. CWTN pluggins do not support outside group support for DPS

Yes, but with my druid for example... I can have druid outside of group and enter... /mac muleassist assist coolguy 92 - My druid will then assist based on my .ini file that I have loaded. Will this still work if my warrior is running MQ2War?

You can give the CWTN plugins a try for free on the Test server to see if they work for your needs, BUT Next is not supported on the test server (from the launcher) as of right now, but you can get the main jist of how everything would mesh together.

I tested a fix for the timer 8/9 issues and pushed them earlier last week. when the next time a rebuild happens, you should no longer seeing those spams
First time in since this has been in. Loving it! Thanks for updating this. Insanely nice not being out of endurance in the first 5 minutes of playing!

yeah despite the pitchforks and uproar, i have literally heard back from 0 people since we made the adjustments, so glad to hear it is working as intended

Thanks for the feedback, sorry a good solution took longer than it should.

awesome man that sounds fantastic, i appreciate the effort on such a neich problem... figured some work arounds of my own but this will be much better and less ghetto then what i am doing atm. Thank you very much!

This is a fantastic plugin. The whole series is really. Is there an adjustment I can make for him to pick up adds? That's the only thing he hesitates on.

nope, but you aren't target locked, so if you want to target something manually, you can do so

if you're 102+ make sure you decide if you want both precision and expanse rocking. if you find yourself needing extra aoe aggro, you might turn off precision.

but no, we don't automatically tab around and start hitting stuff - imagine how annoyed your CC bots might get if you're breaking everything right as they're CCing

My bard cc bot is a Prima donna, he won't mez anything when he's too busy singing. haha

Hi Sic, I have been using MQ2War for a bit now and it is great. However, in Gribbles 'Into the Hills' HA he seems to behave a bit strange. When I put him on mode 7 SicTank, he still runs away and pulls some mobs even though I'd rather have him do nothing and let my bard do the pulling. What kind of settings would be best to run into the hills with the war just as a tank and bard as puller?

we don't pull mobs in sictank mode.

the only way we even attack and move to mobs in sictank mode, is if they are in your campradius and they are on your xtarget as aggro mobs.

I would double check you don't have a macro running.

you also want to tag your puller as puller in your group window

but yeah - we don't pull mobs in sictank mode

I'm showing I need to purchase a license again, but it won't let me. Some of the features aren't working yet it let me update the plugin.

hrm, shows your war license doesn't expire until may 3rd 2022

if you're referring to new abilities, you should check out the cool, happening, very popular thread > HERE < which tl;dr - you need to update to next

Sic tank isn't working. All my other classes show I need to buy licenses as well. When I do a status they all show as in manual when they are in assist mode.

that means that you don't have meshes :)

which it actually tells you if it kicks you out of a mode that requires a mesh :)

Is anyone else having problems with Champion's Aura not being re-cast in pullertank mode? The warrior goes through downtime clickies; more arrows, dark flame BP, etc... but won't rebuff his aura.

Hrm nope, I updated this forever ago so it actually DID recast it,

you can see here with me clicking it off

but i'll see if i can make it not do it

you have anything specific you're doing?

I am testing with a buddy and it does not on our end. Keep having to pause the plugin (since casting something that long in combat is basically impossible) to re-cast, and we've removed it, unpaused, and the warrior went back to pulling with it off.

Any ideas as to what might be skipped, or why it's skipping? Are there other things in the buff routine I can look at that might be buffing correctly or being skipped? Would the warrior's .ini help?

if i had an idea i wouldn't have asked if you were doing anything weird :)

no the ini wouldn't help

so nothing special that i can try and duplicate to try and replicate?

i'll do some more testing and see if i can get it to happen.

sometimes eq/mq will say you have an aura when you don't and i'm curious if that is what is happening here

Not anything special that I can tell. Where would MQ indicate that I have an aura when I don't? The aura is removed from the auras window which closes off the short duration buffs for the group.

The clickies section for the warrior looks like this, and I'm unsure if the double quiver summon would cause a problem:
INI:
[Clickies]
Clicky1=Velium Empowered Legionnaire Breastplate|burn
Clicky2=Velium Enhanced Charm of Security|burn
Clicky3=Velium Enhanced Charm of Security|downtime
Clicky4=Rune of Healing|burn
Clicky5=Unified Phoenix Feather|burn
Clicky6=Unified Phoenix Feather|managroup
Clicky7=Vicious Rabbit|offensive
Clicky8=Chestplate of the Dark Flame|downtime
Clicky9=Huntsman's Ethereal Quiver|summon|10
Clicky0=Huntsman's Ethereal Quiver|summon|2
Clicky10=Ring of Ill Touch|burn
Clicky11=Ice Bound Ulthork|downtime

Warrior is using the level 70 Champion's Aura, no ranks. Constantly getting hammered on endurance to where medbreaks are a thing every half hour (ToL, my rogues and bards are at a constant 0% endurance), but I doubt low endurance would really cause a big issue with rebuffing, especially when the warrior sits to med back up to 90%.

We also have 2 clerics and a bard and shaman, so there's 6 other non-warrior aura hidden NPC guys up right now.
We are grinding in an instance, unsure if a static zone would make a difference. I know casters usually ignore casting auras in like PoK and GHs.

you: do you need ini
me: no thank you
you: don't care here is a posting of something you said you didn't want :(

btw that rabbit is absolutely not worth using :)

I said i'll look into it :)

LOL... yeah it probably isn't, but it sure is cute when it flies out and starts gnawing on enemies.

Edit: So that's the issue - we're in the Shei mission instance. We kicked the task, zoned out, warrior instantly buffed Champion's aura.

Oddly the cleric clicked off his auras in the instance, and only Reverent was re-buffed, Divinity was not. Clicking off the Divinity aura effect (remember there's 2 clerics in the group) caused the cleric to load up / rebuff Divinity aura.
Didn't ask the shaman.

it appears for some reason the buff checking is failing where it shouldn't with the warrior auras specifically, not sure *why* that is different as it wasn't anything changed on our end, but i have a work around

Warrior is not using Imperators Command since the update of Grind and or NextWar, Enc has been rarely mezzing
Grind wouldn't use any abilities unless you put that in your grind config for some reason.

I'm going to move this comment the mq2war thread

we certainly use imperator's command still. make sure you are in a tank mode or assigned as group main tank :)

to preface I drive my group with my monk...that being said...is there something I need to set or something need to do if a mob breaks loose in camp...that was mezzed and starts face raping my healer yet the warrior is not aggroing to save the cleric....the wipes are hard right now

When will these MQ2war, ench, clr, etc... be updated to the latest expansion? Been about a month hasn't it???
they were before the expansion was even out !!!!!!!!~!@ I match your 3 question marks with a bunch of symbols !$!()#&*%(#&!^!@&#^!(^!

We should have announced sooner - but have since it has been repeatedly posted, so i don't think you would have noticed anyhow. especially since it it still currently stickied and the first thing in the cwtn section.

you are not aggro locked, so if you need to change targets you are free to change targets. your CC should be handling adds, but if you want your warrior to target something else, target it. we don't go around just smacking everything and breaking potential incoming mezzes and suh

/plugin MQ2War used to toggle the plugin on and off.... how to do toggle it off now?

For macroquest "Next"

/plugin name toggle will toggle the state of a plugin
/plugin name unload will unload a plugin
/plugin name will always try and load a plugin regardless of current state

so /plugin mq2war toggle
