I did try cycling the follow me button several times even did the come to me button was weird wouldn't follow until mobs were aggroed which was weird to me. Would of thought if it was a follow me type issue would always be stuck to follow. Was like a IF aggro follow MA or something along those lines.

it also might be possible depending on what you're trying to say the issue is - that you just have your background fps set too low.

if your toons are in assist mode, they set a camp, and assist the mob, and then return to that camp spot afterwards. if you are seeing bouncing around behavior and are not stuck with followme or similar (afollow via command etc) then it is likely they are just set too low background fps.

the alt-o fps is where eq does "work" and processes instructions - if you have that set to minimum or such, you will end up skipping "doing work" and won't end up doing things as expected. it is generally recommended to be 60+ background fps. (mq2eqwire gets around this by just not drawing stuff, but the cpu is still able to process instructions, assuming your background fps isn't limited via the in-game options)

and just so we're on the same page:
chase (mode 2) will have your characters chase your group's MA and not return to camp
assist (mode 1) will have you characters set a camp where they first go into assist mode at, and then they will return there after combat assuming your xtarget is clear
 
Monk would do this even when I would be on his screen and I haven't adjusted any FPS so should still be a the default levels. And was in Mode 1 not mode 2 had my numbers off. Would even do the run and follow MA in Mode 0 once mob was aggroed.

yeah if the monk is chasing your MA while in mode 0 - sounds like you have something else happening.

I would make sure you're not running a macro over mq2monk or doing something else to make this happen.
 
First off, had great results with this so far. One question tho: My warrior will pull when he is snared by one of his discs. It seems to cause a death almost every time because he gets beat on the entire time he is walking back to camp. He is level 77 atm, if that matters. Is there a reason he does this? Why does he not click that disc off before going out to pull?
 
Jalerian, I believe that at 77 war uses Stonewall Defense which has a snare effect to it. This goes away with later level discs cause they do not have the snare effect to them. How to avoid this or change something on that I am not sure of just giving you some reassurance it gets better I guess lol.
 
I purchased the MQ2 Warrior and it shows in the plugins successfully installed but when I launch and then start eq it is not loading, is there something I am missing?

I am running a WAR with MQ2War and the rest of the group is a CLR, BRD, BST, MNKx2. All of the others besides the bard are also running CWTN plugins. They are level 85 on a progression server. Overall things seem to be going well, but it seems that the Warrior is constantly out of endurance. 99% of the time pulls stop because the warrior is out of endurance. Seems like every 3rd pull or so he needs to sit down and med. The cleric is full mana, the monks are full end, the bst is half mana...Is there some optimization I can do to improve this? The warrior is puller tank. Should I be using the monks or bard to pull? Seems to me that most people pull with the tank (or am I incorrect in this assumption?). Will this dramatically improve with gear? He is in full Elegant Defiant.

This is all occurring while fighting light blues. I am trying to get things working like a champ before moving into more challenging content.
 
Yes, you badly need better gear, At lvl 85, there is HoT gear which is 900 HME which should help with your problem.

Better stats will boost your dps, so fights will be shorter and less use of endurance

Unfortunately, that is not an option for my server for another 6 months or so. In SoD with Underfoot to open in November. Thanks for the input tho!
 
Is there a way you can add a return to fellowship camp toggle for puller when they die to far away from camp and for cleric when they die... IHC has this which i love for group wipes
 
Auto drag corpse is in the rogue one while in assist mode. As for campfiring back they've already said in another thread that won't be happening but wired made a campfire macro and submitted it to rg.

we do not have plans for this atm.

Also can you add a auto drag corpse for puller to retrieve corpses
mq2rogue has this since they can SoS2 and do it safely
 
On the trying to pull mob issue, is it an attackable mob? if it is a quest type mob or a static spawn that is not to be killed the plugin will try to pull it until it is added to the ignore list.
 
Hi there ASmith50 , yes it is attackable mob. To reproduce try on a toon without any pulling capability (ie low level without throw stone). Go to any noobie area (i tried south karana). And most mobs are wanderers. Neither SK / Monk will attack moving mobs to pull it. If the mob is standing still, then it works no problem.

Or the other way to reproduce. Fight any mob that flees on low health. Do not snare it, allow it to run at its initial normal speed and you should be able to see the SK or Monk stick to the mob but can’t attack / kill it

Or it could just be me and i have some weird setting on :)
 
No I just looked still at 10 in there. however if I unload moveutils I see a DoCommand - Couldnt parse /stick 40 Moveback loose. Is there a way for me to see where this command is coming from?
are you running a macro that is trying to move you around?
 
MQ2war not pulling with groupwatch turned on for healer. Keeps saying Cleric is at 90% mana needs to wait but my Cleric is full mana. Warrior only pull if changing groupwatch to self only.

likely an eq issue - try rejoining the group with your cleric - or have your cleric jump (or target your cleric with your warrior)
 
If it's specifically saying mana. Just cast a spell on the cleric, should refresh the info the warrior sees for the group member.
otherwise, for endurance jumping works.

I love the plugin as is, so my suggestion is merely cosmetical.

When my warrior is in assist mode, he keeps sitting down during puling. Warrior Players usually dont behave like that. There is no gain too, because increased endu regen starts after some time.

It‘d be cool if there was an option to disable the sitting down or delay it til resting conditions are met.

you can use vorpal mode if you do not want to return to camp and sit down (which is what assist mode does)

You might have to enlarge some your campradius then, happened to me and resolved it when i put a bigger campradius.
Usually the ones that assist should have a bigger campradius than the puller, ie the puller's campradius is 50, for the assist it should be 60.
/war campradius 60

if you are wanting to pull and tank, you should be in mode 5 - puller tank --- not in puller assist mode --- you will not start tanking if you are in an assist mode.

if you want your tank to pull and assist you would have him in puller assist mode (and someone assigned as main assist in your group window - otherwise he has no one to assist.)
 
Was using warrior in OT set in Puller Tank mode, pulls everything fine except for the golems. He would run up to the golems and chase them around watched it for ~3min then taunted and war ran back to camp. Not sure if anyone has seen this issue or if it is just an off setting. The SK pulled them golems NP in the same camp.
 
I noticed this morning for the first time that my enchanter (using mq2enchanter) charmed a mob, and my MQ2War has it targeted to pull/attack, making he and the group just stand there. Is there a way to make the puller ignore the chanters charmed mob?
 
I just started using MQ2War after using MuleAssist for a week or so. He is dying on pulls in OT camp fairly regularly. It appears that he isn't getting LOS to pull with Bow and gets close to mob at which point he is too close for ranged and just sits there and gets beat to death. I am camped in a little cubby with a mob spawn just around the corner and he just runs to it and dies. Unrelatedly It would be nice if he would auto summon his arrow with ethereal huntsman quiver (I think muleassist would do that). In any event once anything aggros him he should beeline to camp. Maybe I will try just melee pulling from this camp and see what it does.

It can auto summon. Check the cmd tab for add clicky.
 
That worked. Cool. Still gets stuck trying to range pull when too close for ranged item. But I moved camp a bit so it could see that static spawn spot better and it works better. Still dies way out on pull sometimes and just stands and dies trying to (every few hours) bow pull while too close, I assume he didnt have LOS and was just moving closer.
 
Sorry if this has been answered elsewhere (please just direct me to it if so)

Is there a way to make my tank grab agro off anything in camp that is not currently on him? I am trying a TLP group with no mezzer and just want him to vaccuum up all the agro
