Plugin - MQ2Shaman (6 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

I have 3/5 filled with out of group members (not in the zone) at the moment so slot 1 and 2 populate with mobs
well if you're trying to solo heal with shm at 70, probably want to consider upping your mending heal value, maybe adjusting your canniSpell value probably. possibly turning off single malo and single slow. casting times are long


We don't memorize anything in combat, so based on this image it looks like your shaman didn't have any mobs on xtarget, unless you just mean from the mending, canni, malo canni is what you're trying to show me.

shammies have a heck of a time solo healing until they're better equiped to do so later on in the game.

I would take a look at your the things i mentioned and see if that helps you.

just for clarity sake, we do check all healing checks before we check for canni and before we check for malo

We did recently find an issue where you have 0 ways to rez but had a group member corpse near you which would prevent you from memorizing spells and doing buffs, but we can see in the image that is not the case
 
New user to SHM plugin - overall very well done. However, the DPS/ADPS loadout is very outdated.

Not knowing the ease of implementation, a few suggestions: (Written from Lv 115 perspective, so scale accordingly)

1) Replace Direfang's Bite Line with Chaotic Venin Line (Combo DOT that uses better base DoTs and has chance for Direfang Proc)
2) Replace Mojo (Why are level 80ish spells in here!!) with Bledrek's Pandemic Line (Combo DoT)
3) Keep Marlek's Curse
4) Remove Talisman of the Lynx and replace with Composite Roar Line (Significantly Better ADPS)

Also, running Alliance mode brings Coalition in place of Chaotic Venin. The above suggestion allows for both to co-exist (As they should)

Again, overall very happy, but knowing the amount of people that run SHM in their group, I think these would be well received upgrades.

if you want to use another loadout you can use byos.

I specifically use bite where i use bite

we don't use mojo at lvl 115, we use evil eye, at 119 we use obeah.

4. we don't use talisman as soon as you get any of the progressive spells. I certainly know what composite is :)

I don't know what your situation is, but much of what you mentioned is just not what is used.
 
hey sig , quick question so i downloaded plugin ( recently just sditched over to mqnext) im not use to having to manually put the plugins in folder. but regardless i extracted it into the plugin folder for mq with the rest of my mq2 class plugins , put it doesnt pop up on launcher window or let me use it ingame , i have no clue what i am doing wrong , sorry to bug you

sorry was first thing in the morning , also is there a thread explaining how the burn count works ? i find my dps still burn even with burns turned off , its set at 5 automatically, kind of rough when im saving for a named and they burned everything on trash kills. i cant figure that one out.

The burncount is just the number (count) of mobs you have on your xtarget to consider starting to burn.

General Question I have a few of these Premium Ini. They are awesome and work fantastic out of the box. I do have a question, Is there an option for mod rod use? I have a mage and I do not see any of these using mod rod but unless im missing it i do not see an option? I have chanter, Cleric and shammy Plugin's. thank you

New to this whole deal and pretty computer retarded . I had everything all working and set up for a few days when now my shaman wont buff the group and sucks a healing. If i get him on he shrinks and sits down he will buff him self ?

what are you using for your automation? you didn't say and you didn't post in an area that would answer that question
 
Thanks for the help ! I'm using the cwtn mq2shaman plug in . I think i had just got the next set up and was working fine all last night , Today my buddy coh'd me around and it is acting all confused now . Im also confused where to ask this.

ah, please in the future make sure you post to the correct location. all the cwtn plugins have discussion threads specifically for those plugins. so an mq2shaman question would go specifically in the mq2shaman discussion thread.

to answer your buffing question please refer to the > MQ2Shaman FAQ <

Q. Why does my shaman not buff the group?
A. You will need to run /plugin mq2cwtnbuffs load on all of your characters that you would like mq2shaman to buff. You also need to NOT be in /shm byos on mode. As "Bring Your Own Spells" assumes you want to handle your spells and your buffs. MQ2CWTNBuffs requires characters to be local characters (same PC, not across network or space/time).

you will also want to adjust your settings to meet the needs that you have.

if you are lower-mid level understand that you might be trying to have your shaman fit the role of a cleric, in which case you might consider turning off some of the utility like malo etc. You may also want to ensure you're adjusting your heal settings appropriately. and of course, assigning your group MA as MA
 
Ok I looked over most of that cant really find anything for my issue. Shouldn't he be buffing the mercs automatically? It seemed to work fine all week . Now when I log in he mems swift like wind in gem 6 , de mems it instantly and mems frenzy growth , cast shrink twice then sits down .

Can I ask a question about rabid bear aa? I dont see its usage at all during the running of the plugin. I would assume if I have melee on AND I am in at least DPS stance I would use this to enhance my capacity. Is this something we could consider for the future? Also note on silver accounts around level 80 when the lupine spirit aa comes out the plugin no longer casts spirit of Bih'li no Spirit of Tala'tak on the group.

we use rabid bear during burn if your attack is on
 
I'm using MQ2Shaman on a level 115 shaman underwater in chase mode. The toon will stop casting almost all spells for some reason. Toggling the Mode to Assist causes it to instantly begin casting. Toggling back to Chase mode instantly stop casting.

I can reproduce it by manually toggling Chase to Assist on the dropdown menu. I'm noticing it most during named fights due to the duration but I think it's causing most casting to stop.

try turnning on useswimfix if it is off, or turning if off if it is already on.

Underwater stuff in general isn't great.

but also make sure you try and keep your tank near the bottom of the water, if you're in between two nav layers (best way i can describe it), you can end up just standing around.


also, if you turned on usemelee this probably stops being an issue

I was able to fix the issue by turning on use melee. I usually have it off.

In case someone is looking at this in the future, swimfix was turned on, so I went ahead and left it on.

yeah and thinking about it, in that instance, no melee, just chase, swimfix wouldn't have done anything, so that was a bad suggestion, without even asking i have a feeling i know exactly where you are, and the exact place of the mesh where you just chillax
 
ok i am playing on an emu which i know isnt supported so if no one knows or cant help its ok but i love these plugins so gonna try. i have t changed any settings or added any new plugins, everything was working well then my shm crashed. now he continues to crash anytime i in ite him to my group. if i dont invite he is fine. i tried turning off autoaccept and autogroup, still happened, tried reloading ui, still happened, unloaded the plugin and invited to group and no crash, reloaded the plugin and crashed. i just dont have the knowledge to figure out why or how to stop it lol. oh also tried renaming the mq2shm ini (the one with my shms name) and loading fresh, same issue.

yeah definitely falls into the "isn't supported" part - so many emus are different, so the plugins are pretty much mostly "as-is" for emu

there's no hidden files or anything for settings, so deleting or renaming your shm ini so you're running default would load default settings. and if you're saying default settings worked before, then it should work now.

you might try and see if taking your toon out of group and then loading it works, and then if adding to group crashes. obviously that doesn't fix anything, but if it worked before there shouldn't be anything that would prevent it from working in the same way
