definitely make sure you give a watch to the instruction video, and read the commands tab and the FAQ - the beta plugins are very active, so definitely check the thread before posting a new question as its likely been answered previously
 
Hi Sic,

Just wondering did the toggle for useAvatar disappear as i can't see it? I'm pretty sure it used to be there a couple of patches ago?

it should only show if you're within the level range that it would use it - that's probably why you can't see it
 
I have a level 60 shaman, with Avatar spell memed (i'm too lame to be in a guild to have primal avatar on rizlona). Two patches ago this option was there for me. Now its gone :(

Hey, i heroicd a new shm and quick leveled him to 105 and got all his spells. Now he sets and chain casts Spirit Bolstering Rk II. pet has it on it. ive tried clicking it off pet and he still chain casts it. Ditched pet, he summoned a new one and buffed it then chain casted spirit bolstering again

unloaded plugin, reloaded it. same thing

new one for me. We use the exact same checks for buffing pets in all of the plugins - so something is reporting incorrectly somewhere.

We do have further buffing checks coming in next update for when a spell/trigger isn't the one that gets cast from the spell (which is what is causing the issues elsewhere in the thread).

I would double check you didn't get bugged with a familiar - I had a toon yesterday that got bugged with a familiar despite having it "autoremove" and the buff was also removed - then i killed my pet - but i still had a pet window (with no pet name) but had pet buffs, but couldn't cast a pet because of this real/notreal familiar. so dunno if this is an eq or an mq2 thing - but might dropping doggo and relogging.

if this doesn't stop, you might have to temporarily add that buff to your pet blocked buffs so we don't try and cast it until next update

ill have to kil my pet and see, yea man on my 115 shm i have had ZERO issues, i freakin love the plugin, but the new one im leveling up on a dif account just buggy, logged it in today and same thing so paused and camped it.
 
Hey Sir, Loving this huge, I had the unity of spirits bug trying to buff the pet bug and blocked that.

Now I have Lupine Spirit 1 being cast on my pets until I am OOM.

I turned off UseSOW and that temp fixed it but is there a better approach?

Great mod, very good and works really well. Fantastic.

you haven't' updated in weeks. you're definitely going to want to ensure you're updated before saying something isn't working or asking for some help when there have been multiple patches between your patch date and now

live patch is tomorrow so you'll be forced to update then

Hopefully those woes are gone in tomorrow's patch

This guy is level 85, if that helps with context. For Slow, he's casting Tortugone's Drowse, which is an AoE Slow. Is there a way to specify a different spell at all? I'd prefer to have a single target, or at least option to have a single target. I've had situations where the AoE Slow has pulled non-aggressive adds. Not a huge deal, but wanted to ask.

So far really enjoying the plugin!

I answered this previously but buried in there im sure.

I haven't split out some of the aoe specific ones and haven't decided what I'm doing with that yet - I may split the aoe specific ones to their own type, and then if you have aoeslow turned on use that, otherwise use aoeslow - or i may just ignore the aoe slow *spells* entirely for various reasons (this would still use the aoe slow AA with useaoe on as the tooltip says).

This is mainly because in the middle of the spells EQ got a little wishy/washy or wavygravy with what they were going to do with slows.

but tl;dr you're stuck with it for the time being.

Made A herrioc Shaman. when he has pet out he chain casts Unity. i turn pet off, and kill pet. i put out SK pet and he chain casts Unity.

yup.

as mentioned elsewhere in the thread - will be updated next update.

tl;dr one of the trigger spells from unity is 1234 when it says it is 5678 --- which means we think you don't have it and recast it.

well - i can't know that you're posting from the future - post patch - when you post in the past saying that something is broken (and not patched). I checked if you had patched before i asked if you had patched and you hadn't.

you likely have a buff that mq2 is reporting stacks which doesn't - in this case rathe's strength so if you're getting a red stacking message saying it won't take hold - that is why. because this is an mq2 issue, its not something we can directly fix - as its reporting it stacks when it doesn't - you would want to block the abilities that unity of spirits casts on your pet blocked buffs. and it wouldn't recast unity of spirits.

if you are saying your pet already has unity of spirits buffs and it is recasting it - that is what was fixed and it is very unlikely that is the case.

I have totally deleted the Mq2Shaman.dll in my release folder and did a reinstall of VV on 12/7/2020 and it is still stuck on casting, unity of spirits on the SK's pet, over and over I made sure there are no other buffs on pet by recasting pet from the SK and made sure none of the other toons were set to auto buff before I cast the pet spell, now the shaman did cast other spells on the other toon that were needed but then went right back to casting the unity spell on the SK pet over and over, now it is not causing him to run out of mana but when in combat he does not cast any other spells.

It does not seem to be an issue with another buff blocking it as it keeps landing on the pet and the chat window says pet is moving with Ancestral Grace and Ancestral Vigor.

Thanks for all the help and great plugins you have already made. I hope this helps you guys.

Thank you for the great plugins, I can't wait till these go live.

If you need anything from a pally, druid wiz or mage let me know I have them all in the 90-100's range, I also have a mage in the 70's.
 
Is there a way to prevent it from casting when invis?
the cwtn plugins only cast while invis if you have a camp set - so if you are going to invis and don't want to do casting/memspell stuff go in mode 0

Q. How can i get it to break invis to heal?
A. MQ2Shaman will break invis to heal if a camp is set - so mode 1 would break invis to heal, where mode 0 would not.

I was in mode zero (assuming mode zero is "manual") and dragging a group member's corpse, and it broke invis to try to rez the corpse. Either that, or the self-only invis dropped about 9:30 too soon. The more I think about it, the invis must have dropped on its own, because I've made successful corpse runs before, so the other explanation doesn't make as much sense. Excuse me, I have a review to edit. :)

Yes I know about "Attentive Sprit" not being valid. I can't update the file until VV get's a rebuild - anyone who posts this is getting a flogging.

I know this has likely has been discussed, but I’m going to mention it just in case. Is it possible to make pre-releases cost $0 dollars a month for xx months and then make the interested parties purchase the plugin? This would give you the flexibility to update the plugins like other ones.
 
It works like that for macro, not sure about the plugins
 
It's built and shipped with VV. We could make it so we could do on the fly fixes every time we adjust something, but that means we have to manually load the new file every patch.

It's a more efficient use of our time to treat it like a beta. Fix it all at once on the patches to MQ2 VV. Users just need to keep track of known / corrected issues and report any new ones that might be undiscovered so we can address them as well.

Once a plugin is moved to purchased and has a file uploaded to the forums, we can and will do on the spot adjustments for things.
 
have been using this plugin and its working fantastic for mee, Kept my Crew, War(MQ2warrior), SK(MQ2Eskay), a rog using KA alive. Even when I pulled 4 DB mobs in GD. Love it!

Ok here is one of my groups, SK, Cleric, Chanter, Shaman, Wiz, and Mage all of them in the low 80's, not sure if it because the chanter is casting Haste, but it is also happening with my 90's group with the Shaman but no chanter, the shaman is not casting haste on the group in either group, and yes before you ask the usehaste is set to on, on both Shaman's (lol).

edit: 80's shaman is not an all access account, but the 90's shaman is an all access account.
