Have a question regarding low level buffing. I am playing on a TLP as level 60 and when using MQ2Shaman it will choose single target buffing over group buffing. In most instances this ends up resulting in my shaman being perpetually out of mana. Is there anyway to get the plugin to choose group buffing or would I need to BYOS?

it will use the single target buffs if your single targest buffs are higher lvl than your group buffs - so if you want to do something other than the plugin does - you would want to byos and do your own buffing

So I found the specific issue for Unity of the Spirits - and an answer as to why we weren't getting the red Everquest Stacking error msg.
semi-tl;dr - ths "spell" that the buff casts is different from the "spell" that lands. - because it isn't the mq2/eq failure of buff stacking there is no red msg - its just being reported that you DONT have the spell.
One of the triggered spells is Transcendent Foresight - its ID is 19391, but EQ/lucy says it is 15229.
tl;dr - this specific buffing issue will be fixed next update and, at least for this buffline, you won't end up having to add them to ignore

Mentioned a few times earlier in the thread... it will be updated next time VV is built, but in the meantime you need to replace your mq2shaman in your release folder.
To do that you need th unload mq2shaman on all logged in accounts
/plugin mq2shaman unloadthen replace the file in your release folder
then reload mq2shaman
/plugin mq2shaman loadhere is an updated file

ok my Lvl 80 shaman keep switching between memming spell Crippling Spasm and Rolist's Drowse, and will do nothing else, tried updating the mq2ahaman.dll both with the file you have posted above and it changed nothing not sure if it is options I have set or not.

This probably means you didnt actually replace the file. You need to unload mq2shaman on all logged in toons and replace the file in your release folder.

So I don't recall seeing this mentioned anywhere else but with use glyph enabled, even in heal stance, shammy pop glyph of destruction. This happens even out of group using xtarget to heal and no mobs in camp. Burn always is off, just burn named is on. Anyone else catch this or is it locally significant? She pops it on cooldown and burns through banked AA.

What is your burn count set to? This is when burns are fired as well.

Check that, as soon as I purchase glyph of destruction manually, she burns it. This is out of group during downtime. Now I know why she has 68k spent AA lol

would need to see a list of buffs from the character they are trying to cure. (as in pm me their buffs file) because we're checking for debuffs by spa that matches the cure type from the spell that the cure item casts. and to be clear you have it added to your addclicky cure and not addclicky downtime or something weird right?
this is the first time someone has mentioned this not working.

that is very curious because we check them to be local like we check for all other things we want to do things with their buffs - in this case we're checking their buffs and checking for a debuff spa and then matching it with what we can cure and then doing that. so very unsure how that is even possible.
can you show me the plugins casting the cure clicky on a person who you don't have a local buff file for?

Thank you for the information I may have not loaded the update correctly, so I did what you said and it was working fine......Then I made Lvl 82 and now have run into an issue with it spam casting Unity of Spirits over and over on the SK pet, I noticed it doing it and being blocked by the Mage pet buff Rathe's Strength Effect, so I unclicked it and thought that would solve the problem but even with that effect clicked off he is still spamming Unity of Spirits.
But it is weird as it cast it on the Sk then the Cleric, but then will not cast it on the rest of the group so only the Sk and cleric in the group as well as the Sk pet get the buff and the pet just keeps getting it over and over even once it is on him.
The Sk is first in group and Cleric is second, then Chanter, Shaman, Wiz, and Mage

Thanks @burdsjm appears we (you and i) found the problemo - it had to do with a misplaced bracket in a loop for xtargets with regards to the cureclickies

well - i can't know that you're posting from the future - post patch - when you post in the past saying that something is broken (and not patched). I checked if you had patched before i asked if you had patched and you hadn't.
you likely have a buff that mq2 is reporting stacks which doesn't - in this case rathe's strength so if you're getting a red stacking message saying it won't take hold - that is why. because this is an mq2 issue, its not something we can directly fix - as its reporting it stacks when it doesn't - you would want to block the abilities that unity of spirits casts on your pet blocked buffs. and it wouldn't recast unity of spirits.
if you are saying your pet already has unity of spirits buffs and it is recasting it - that is what was fixed and it is very unlikely that is the case.
One issue i've found on TLPs - shaman will not un-mem Tigir's Insects (AOE slow) even if you deselect AOE Slow and then regardless of mob and will only use Tigir's and ignore Turgur's even with only a single pull. I moved the AOE count up to 5 to avoid any smaller pulls triggering it to use Tigir's and he still ignores single cast slow.

as the descriptions for the usemaloaoe and useslowaoe say - they are currently only for the AAs.
I haven't moved the spells to single and aoe versions. so currently those spells don't care about sutff

well you haven't updated since nov 19th and we've had 2 builds since then. the issue was also addressed a few times in this thread.
Try ensuring your VV is up to date and then let me know if you are having the issue still.

mq2shaman is in pre-release so it doesn't show in the paid resource plugin tab
its possible this is related to another issue - but you have to be updated before i can chase something that might already be fixed

nah, i think this is still an issue - at least casting it on other's pets if mq2 is reporting things stack - looking into it - for now block it on any pets getting spammed
