Great addition to the other plugins. I took it for a test in a raid instance, while in a group did it with one other character in zone, Shaman healed and fought well, did the mission again (while in a group) but alone in the instance and had him Tank. Had a few issues with lag of his DPS dots, I changed to Manual and HunterTank to try and see if that helped, end result was about the same. In all the situations, he would not stop spamming Spirit Bolstering Rk 2 on his pet. For awhile, I could not even select the mob as he would select back to his pet to Spirit Bolster him again. Hope the feedback helps.

howdy Redfrog,

if you're looking for something that is designed for shaman tanking - you probably want something that allows you more specificity to accomodate that.

shd stance dps loads extra dps dots instead of extra heals

your pet was probably stuck under the world (and reporting it was in range) or had los issue despite mq2/eq reporting you didn't have issues. the pet check to buff it is the same as all the other buff checks we have, so not an mq2shaman issue as an eq issue more than likely. usually can just move around and it unfucks it.

unless somehow you were having a buff stacking issue with the buff that mq2 thinks stacks and doesnt in which case you would have red output messages saying why the buff didn't take hold. If you don't ever want your pet to get pet haste - you can block it and we won't cast it

We also don't do pet haste while you have xtargets. so there's that.

Is the spell canni even needed though ? Before the plugin i ever only used the AA and never ran oom.

nope, that's why its already an option to turn it off - however, lots of people rolling around at lvl 20 and shit who need it for tlp and whatnot

yeah the UseCanniSpell option (slash or window option)


This is what my current "grinding" settings look like

things explode too fast to care about malo/slow
have SK so don't need growth really
turned off usecannispell because don't need it
don't want to cast regen every time dissident fades so useregen is off
not meleeing at this particular moment, so that's off

is there a way to have shm assist a tank outside of grp and not in raid format? i have my shm outside grp
 
The CWTN do not support out of group outside of raid mode and xtarget healing
 
Put who you want the shm to heal and buff with that turned on in your xtarget window and it should work.

Q. Do I need to assign what Xtargets to watch for XTargetHealing?
A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetHealing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then heal them at the XTarHeal # you have

Q. Do I need to assign what Xtargets to watch for XTargetBuffing?
A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetBuffing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then buff them (they still need to be running mq2cwtnbuffs and be local)
 
I'll finally get to try this out tomorrow, work has sucked. Shaman is my main healer so really can't wait to give this a try! Hot damn I cannot wait, but I must sleep now.

I believe red will be rebuilding tonight/tomorrow - lots of updates between Wed and today for it
 
First off, thanks for this awesome plugin, it's generally working great so far.!

I did have an issue on TLP with shaman in mid 40s, who does not buff with haste (Alacrity is the best haste spell available). Tried in all 3 stances, and in both manual and assist mode.
Also attempted with BYOS turned on, with both Alacrity and Quickness memorized, but no success.

yeah - despite the UseHaste option I don't have low lvl haste being used atm - I need to ensure stacking stuff still. There are some issues with some of the various middle range buff spells which cause headache because eq/mq2 says it stacks when it doesn't

so this is a known thing wtih a TBD to be fixed

you're welcome - thanks for the reminder, i had a note about it, but was off my radar - mq2bst doesn't do low lvl haste for the same reason

you can check with /echo ${Spell[Talisman of Celerity].StacksWith[Talisman of the Ry'Gorr]}

What gets even more obnoxious - is mq2 reports some things differently depending on WHO checks the stacking

example:
if you check this on a random toon it will return false
if you check this on a bst it will return true!
/echo ${Spell[Celerity].StacksWith[Exceptional Velocity]}

So we just need to expand some stuff and create some extra functions to check stuff, but on the agenda for sure

Edit: might have it fixed for next update actually

looking pretty frikkin awesome so far, only been using it about an hour and a half, but its already smashing it out of the park! good work guys. ill be buying it for sure!

and there are TONS of adjustments/adds/patches from wed to today - so next build will hopefully be ever better!

What the trick to get it to cast slows?. Im doing a lot of older expansion stuff to get things done on other toons, and mobs die fast, but sometimes it takes a bit and im not noticing slows in the debuff window. Named yeah its slowing...im assuming this is a conditional coding thingy?

depends. there are some updates coming.
 
i dont know if its been mentioned or you are aware but i created a heroic shaman and loaded the plugin and he spams talisman of unity.
 
Love the plugin...can't wait for release. would like to see an option to turn off swarm pets. other than that keep up the great work guys

*might* be something we already fixed - might be some fkery with eq/mq2 saying that something stacks etc as mentioned elsewhere in the thread.

also heroic shaman doesn't load some spells and such - i'm still doing the "low-mid" spell setup. probably won't be there if there's a build today, but will likely have something sunday/monday to ensure we *have* spells loaded at all times lol

Thank you, that achieves what I am looking for, sure the dps would be nice but beggers cant be choosers here on this plugin im just thrilled that we have a shm plugin.
 
How do we download the updates in prerelease? With mq2cleric there’s a download button.
