Plugin - MQ2Rogue 3.1.52471.11

MQ2Rogue has been updated for ToV discs as of today confirming names of new discs and making sure they were updated from their "New XXX Disc" counterparts in preperation for ToV launch.
 
Is there a way to keep poison potions clicked with this? I used a downshit on melee to click legs and also keep poison potions refreshed. Since it unloads melee and needing a suggestion or two for a workaround. Am sure I am missing something easy but I am not very macro inclined or plugin.
 
yes.
Pick up your legging and then while it's on your cursor type
/rog addclicky summon 1

then summon 1 potion with the leggings and pick up the potion.

then repeat that same step

/rog addclicky downtime
 
the 1 at the end indicates how many you want to keep summoned.

Personally I have mine set to 5, but they disappear when you log out, so it doesn't really matter in this case
 
so, when we go plugin for my rogue, how do I set us assist the MT? I deleted my INI MQMelee file in macros. so, no assist now. I have to drive the ROGUE myself.

Rogue will assist whoever is set as the MA in the group. So set your tank as the main assist and he will get assisted!
 
Hi @Willanca , There's a couple of things that will make the plugin react different based on their setting.

First and one of the most important things is the mode the rogue is in.

/rog mode assist

~~~Will tell the rogue that you want to be in assist mode.
This will set a camp at your current location and assist the groups assigned MA.
If there is no MA assigned, the rogue will not assist.
If you don't have a mesh for the zone you are in, the plugin will refuse to stay in assist mode until you get a mesh for the zone you are in. You can download all the meshes using the Meshupdater.exe located in the MQ2 directory.

Additionally, you can use

/rog mode chase

This will follow the groups assigned MA around and assist in combat.
This mode also requires a mesh. In fact. All modes except Manual mode requires a mesh.

There are other modes you can choose from

/rog mode

by itself will tell you what the current mode is and give you a list of options to set the modes.

I hope this clears up some of your issues.

I upgraded abilities to Rk.II and now several of them will not fire, they keep trying to get the rank 1 to go off. Specifically noticed Naive Mark, and Slice not working. Dps drop is massive as the rogue is now just auto attacking. I tried camping, restarting, etc. etc.
 
When you load the plugin does it say anything about any missing abilities. What is listed for your "Mark: " ability?

I unloaded the plugin, full comp reboot, reloaded the plugin on a different char, then loaded my rogue up. All is well (for now?). I did that before reading your reply, but there are no missing abilities when I type /rog missing and attacking a combat dummy no longer triggered the string of attempts to hit the rank 1 skills. Leveling up prior to ToV I did not upgrade any skills, simply hit the rk II versions. Thanks for the quick reply.
 
Glad you got it sorted. Wish I understood more of the details. My rogue had some things to update, so If I encounter the same issue I'll try to get it sorted.

Add DoCampfire option to automatically create campfires for you (without ever bringing up the window).
Add CampfireDistance option to set the Max distance from your current camp a campfire can be in the same zone.
Correct issue with seemingly random decision made by the puller to go on strike. The character was apparently
upset they had a buff that didn't stack with rez sickness.

Just out of curiousity, but how does the rogue line up to berserker using their perspective plugin? Thinking of starting a rouge group next and seems like itd a good opportunity to grab this plugin as well if rouge are competitive.
 
They stack up decently. They have their limitations, and they have their benefits. Personally I'd think only one rogue is needed.

Rogue does have the ability for automatic corpse retrieval. Perhaps in the future I'll also add the automatic picking of locks. I haven't decided how to handle it though.

DPS Wise they do alright. They can sometimes parse higher than my Zerker, but I pretty much run my rogue in burnalways
 
Thanks. Would make sense with rouge alliance being poison based proc. Now to figure what to fill it with for the other two dps slot.
 
Sic runs a good setup with War/Clr/Brd/Bst/Zerk/Zerk
I'm currently running War/Clr/Enc/Bst/Zerk/Rog

Everyone will have their preference. I don't see myself using alliance and due to constantly working on code for classes I find that I swap my group makeup pretty often. I also have a 111 Shadow Knight for use with MQ2Eskay as we work on it.

Currently War/Clr/Bst/Zerk/Rog are all using my plugins. The Enchanter is still using KA until I get around to wanting to branch out and working on it as well. We'll be releasing the 3 we are currently working on before we start to add anymore classes. Beastlords are parsing in the 600k range at 115 atm. Cleric is coming along nicely, and Eskay is well on it's way thanks to Sic deciding that he wanted to get some of the users concerns addressed.

Of course, these are all things I'm working on, and there is always other options, such as the option to handle your character with other macros.
 
I feel the price point for these plugins is reasonable. Separating them allows you to buy the ones you want, or prioritize a class you feel you need versus ones you wanna play with. It's unlikely there will ever be a sale on the plugins due to the length of time $20 gets you access to a class.

Keep in mind that just I've released a plugin for purchase, doesn't mean I won't upgrade things about those plugins. As new features are constantly added. You may or may not need those features.

I will say that the price per plugin will not go up in the foreseeable future.

Also, at the release of every plugins I've done some sort of giveaway. For MQ2Berzerker it was given to those that assisted with testing. For MQ2Rogue it was given out in a raffle, for MQ2War/Monk it was offered by another user in a raffle.

Only time will tell.
 
My girlfriend recently Heroic'd her gnome rogue that she was using to tinker with and I think I'd like to get this. Is it worth running on an 85 ~ in a group of 111+ characters or should we let her leach a while before doing anything like that?
 
The answer to your first question of Is this worth getting to run on an 85, is yes. But in a group of 111’s....that rogue ain’t gonna be doing a whole lot anyways. But at least it would help keep her skills up to par...maybe if she’s not leveling too fast. These class plugins are super awesome. I even love them when I’m playing a single character in a group of guildies - I can run it in manual mode so I control when and what I’m attacking, but they handle the discs and such so I don’t have to learn every single class.
 
I play on a TLP server(ragefire) and I see it says that this is for live servers but I have seen people say they use it on TLPs and it makes me curious. I have a rogue I would like to work better than just the conditions I have set up in my macro as I feel like I am not doing him justice. Will this plug in actually work on a TLP and perform better than using conditions? Just don’t want to waste money if it won’t perform on a TLP. Thanks and keep up the great job.
 
Just created a new lvl 85 heroic rogue, and I can add the breastplate and legging clickies with no problem. Unfortunately, mq2rogue sends the Consigned Bite of the Shissar XV immediately back to inventory, and this prevented me from being able to add the poison to clickies. Thanks to Sic, I was able to manually add it to my ini, and that fixed it. I only have access to this 85 rogue, so I am unable to test if this issue is with all poisons or just the one that comes with the heroic rogue.

it is all the poisons - you will either have to assign the poison to addclicky before the summoning or do a /rog autodrop off which would let you temporarily interact with summoned items
 
Is there a toggle for using glyphs and/or using dissident? I see several burn options when using /rog help, but it's unclear what the difference is with regards to skills used.

Seems I'm still having an issue with MQ2Rogue. I have to unload and reload it to make it work in assist mode, then it stops when the mob dies. Any ideas?

EDIT: Scratch that. It wasn't unloading MQ2Melee like it should. It's fixed after rebooting.

Is there any plan to make ligament slice an on/off option? There is a small chance/bug that it is making mobs run away which causes us to wipe in t2 zones.

ahahaha is THAT what's doing that? i was trying to figure it out.
yeah they changed the darn thing last fall before the xpac when they were trying to spruce up some of the AA lines and dirty tricks (or w/e it was called) got put into ligament

/rog RaidMode true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you want to use the Raid Assist instead of the Main Assist for getting valid targets.
/rog RaidAssistNum 1-3 - Sets if you should use Raid Assist 1, 2, or 3 when in RaidMode
