Any chance you could add an option to DoT named only? Also, add another option to only DoT with Swarm of XXXXX? This dot gives a damage shield to the targets target. It's almost no mana cost and the Tank loves it!! They tell me so.

No, don't plan on doing either of those, but i don't mind adding a "dothp" and "dothpnamed" to match druid, necro, eskay, bst, and shaman

I made the change for dothp/dothpnamed, will test it out tomorrow and see when we rebuild

I don't see an option to turn off DS. My ranger just spent his whole mana bar trying to cast Shield of Thistles on my group, but it's blocked by my mage's DS.

you can add it to blocked buffs - we do check for stacking, but mq/eq stacking isn't perfect

Q. I appear to be chain casting buff / spell?
A. There are a few of these buffs that eq/mq reports stack that do not or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast. This is a built-in EverQuest feature - right-click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)
