spitual viguar is blocked on the pet buff block. but like i was saying the shoutcobo on is for a targeted player. if you target a petand use the combo spell maulally you will see it will not take hold. no red message nothing. however if you target the pets owner and cast the combo then then the pet will have the buff.

if u have combo set to off then the ranger will cast bay and barb but will not cast strength. seeing the bst vigor doesnt stack with ranger strength maybe there might be another soultuin?

hrm, well , i targeted several pets and casted shoutcombo combo and it did cast on them.

the point about the not taking hold was looking for the red error message.

If you have some specific replication steps with classes, levels, and spells i'll be happy to try and replicate.

but i have stripped all buffs and successfully casted shout combo on 120 beastlord, 120 mage, 120 necro, 120 shd

ok looks like we can't cast directly on pets who are not in group, if they are in group we can cast on them directly

i just confirmed what you had said and you are correct

:)

if not in group and the ranger is casting out of group then the pets wont have it and therfore will just continue to chain cast

so in this case is there a way when combo is set to off that the ranger can cast strength? idk lol

because if we are in raid mode this will just pose an issue IMO as i was just testing it.

When in chase mode, is there a way to ensure the ranger stays in autofire range? I have useranged on, but it often creeps inside melee range and switches to melee when I want it to use the bow.

you'll want to adjust you chase distance. once he reaches that distance he'll nav to the MA
 
I had to block strength on all my toons and pets. I am hopeful that a charmed pet will also stay blocked but chanter is relatively new to me.

Please help give as much information as possible to help you, otherwise the answer is "block the spells as mentioned in the FAQ"

I still haven't run into a charmed pet...but blocking the strength portion did stop him from chain casting. The plugin is great, doing just a bit more dps than the KA I was using. It also does more utility than I did with KA, so definitely will be making that purchase.
 
Plugin runs great so far.

Only problem i see is for the spell line

Seems it doesnt** call spells from other EXP than NOS. I currently dont have NOS on my ranger and it keeps the spell gem empty!

Show me the plugin output when it loads for that spell line.

because a: we do, b: we only memorize it when useaoe is turned on

No idea what the 3rd to last slot is for. I was understanding it was the AOE but i was wrong lol

yep. mentioned in the FAQ that there might be empty gem slots.

I'm actually going to populate it with heartshot.

but this is another good example of "please for the love of everything read how to ask for help". because instead of "my gem 11 seems empty" you're telling me that i don't have certain spells in spell groups.

so i verified, and then you didn't have aoe on, but then still have the same original issue - just what you thought it was is different :p

c'mon - help me out here
 
I did but must have missed it. That is my mistake! I had mine loaded in that slot so i thought it was just default when i loaded MQ2Ranger up.

But i did some other testing for spells and found this
Also Found mis-matched timers for Fire spells

In ranged mode, make sure you change the stick mode dropdown to the moveback 35 option and you'll always stay in bow range while in chase.
 
I cannot express how express how excited I am over my favorite class getting some loving!! Love the switch between melee and range. Is there a way to swap weapons automatically between range and melee?

no, we don't have bandoswapping, but i might if there's enough interest
 
Its not showing up for me at all.

Restarted - Opened RG Launcher - Updated / Installed all Plugins and yes MQ2Ranger is there and says installed., Updated installed Very Vanilla to current, launched MQ, auto-loaded and once in game is it not showing under /pluginman and it is saying MQ2Ranger could not be loaded, Plugin Not found.
