Any news on wether the plugin can check for group aa in buff window before casting? Spire / Auspice / Group Guardian etc

Im running multiple rangers and it overlaps

We do, but if their conditions are met and all throw at the same time, that'll happen edit: and looks like currently if they had different ranks and would overwrite we'd use it, so i'll adjust that so we won't

any plans on putting a GH buff bot option on this guy? also he seems to always use his trueshot disc even when i have him set to melee range, any fixes for that in the future or is it working as intended.

They mentioned moving away from the GH buff option in each plugin and utilizing MQ2BuffMe for all. Plus its a free plugin anyone can use not requiring MQ2ClassName.

no, mq2buffme.

every plugin will have the ghbuffbot stuff removed because mq2buffme exists.

we only use pureshotDisc when you have useranged turned on AND autofire is on. so if you don't want to use the ranged disc, turn off useranged

are you confused that it is using a different timer 2 disc?
 
Is there any way to stop a disc being used? TSS launched on yelinak and it looks like jolting kicks is used on cooldown and drains the endurance very quickly. Ideally being able to set a %aggro to use it would be good but there is no BYOS type of options for discs is there im unaware of?

there is not, i'll take a look at some of the endurance usage and see if we need to gate it behind "modern endurance regen" type things like we do with war
 
Running into an issue getting ranger to update.
Tried updating as soon as i boot up and later after the system settles down. Any ideas?

Error msg attached. Searched for those key words and couldnt find anything.

Is MQ running?

Is your MQ directory excluded from Antivirus?

Have you rebooted and does the issue persist?

your files being locked/quarantined from your antivirus are outside the scope of mq2ranger (cause nothing to do with mq2ranger), and even outside of the launcher (which is trying to update to a file that is locked).

you will want to figure out your AV, and check that it isn't quarantined and all that jazz

Confirmed no quarantined files and MQ folder allowed to operate with out restrictions. Guess i need to see how Windows is locking it since i dont have google drive on here.
 
im new to this plugin, I used /rng useranged true, and range works when i run away, but they use melee and run towards the mob, I just want them to shoot at ranged distance, any suggestions?

Look at your StickHow, This tells your toon where to stand when fighting. also I would turn off use Melee if it was on.
 
Hey Sic, love the plugins, using Ranger/Cleric/Necro/Zerk/and Chanter.. while licking my chops waiting for bard.. Even for someone who isnt great with PC's, its been a painless experience getting it all running!

I do have a thought for the Ranger plugin.. And maybe this isn't worth the brainpower since its probably a TLP problem,

Would there be a way to put in a Threat check for casting the spell Summer's Dew? The spell itself is important in the Ranger DPS rotation at the point i am at on this TLP (TSS), but the aggro component is problematic of course and requires management.. Currently the best way i have figured out to handle this, i let it rip until my threat gets to 90%.. then i right click and un-mem the spell so the plugin wont cast it anymore. If possible a "dont cast summers dew if threat above 90 and not in a tank mode" check would be amazing

i'll give it some thoughts - but not really =p tell your tanks to press their keyboard harder - maybe lean to the side a bit when they press

Unfortunately the spell line is quite literally meant to create threat for the ranger.. No tank can actually stay ahead of it, even Paladins with stun.. The problem is they also made it very high dps lol.. Such is life, id just like to be able to quit un-meming it every boss fight :)

yes of course there are things that determine.

Vileoak is timer 4, beastwood is timer 1, which is they they're Ash T4 and Ash T1 in our spellgroups, just because they both have Ash in the name, doesn't mean they're the same spell line
 
Do you happen to know why UseDot and UseDisarm would be Null? I know I have the spells. Not sure what changed and I went through each of the recent changelogs to see if they were removed temporarily for something, but I initially was able to UseDot and it would cast the dot. Maybe I didn't go far back enough? All other checkboxes seem to work just fine.

What do you mean "null"

If you manually edited your ini you need to delete it and let the plugin remake it

Hmm. I didn't edit anything. One day this just showed up. I can try to delete and reinstall the plugin and see if that works.

hrm, that's a tooltip, so you can ignore that - dunno why it is there, but i'll take a look
