This is a great little plugin. Be useful if you could exclude zones to save so much spam in PoK etc.

Same question. Trying to figure out a way to tie the messages into some sort of audible trigger / alert.

/log on and use GINA

I use GINA for the audio alert with MQ2Paranoid, it is not something I use in heavy traffic zones or it will drive you nuts. There is probably a better way to use it but this works for me. Hope it helps.

I know this is a bit old and may have changed in updates with VV but I'm not getting Paranoid to output to my char's logfile so I can't use GINA to trigger off it. It pops up fine on the screen as expected though. Any ideas there?

Ahh thank you I hadn't kept up with posse so didn't know what it was there for. Will have to delve into it a bit more.

IMO, the posse is a little bit too involved/complicated and has a ridiculously loud audio trigger that literally makes me jump out of my seat when i hear it. Also, it constantly spams window with zone searches, too. I know there is a timer for that. I guess if I could change the audio trigger it would be a little more tolerable. Nothing against the person that designed it/wrote the code. It's just a little too excessive for what most of us are trying to do I think. Really more concerned with people entering/leaving the zone. That way i have time to camp out 5 chars and play 1 if needed. Is it difficult to add an audio trigger to the paranoid plugin? I've had para running and have already been caught with my pants down twice because sometimes when tabbing I can miss a zone in message. Isn't exactly fun trying to pvp when 6 boxes are up, but not having time to disable the rez function on all the boxes is a problem as well, because it's definitely a convenient utility. I am also a little cautious of using plugins in front of guildees, and they like showing up out of nowhere, too. They're probably using MQ anyway, lol. I like keeping what I am doing private though because I am old enough to realize people can be hateful for no reason whatsoever. The moment you piss someone off, they /report, and all the hard work/time/energy/money you have spent on EQ/RG is thrown away. I've tried in game audio triggers, the problem is, it won't pickup the MQ chat window text for some reason, picks up the regular chat window text fine. I am sure it has to do with the mq chat being in a separate program. The same thing goes for the gina software. the MQ2pvpalert worked great for years. I could edit the audio trigger files in there, because the default one was terrible. TBH, the para one with audio would be more than sufficient. I know several lvl 2 members I play with that would love the audio trigger as well. I don't mind donating to have an audio option added.

P.S. Thanks for everything you guys do to make playing convenient and not punishing.
