Plugin - MQ2Necro (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

when I /plugin mq2necro it says I am missing a spell or 2 then just plugin mq2necro unloaded. the spells are not available on my server yet. please advise

what server? If you're on a truebox server, it's coded to automatically unload itself.

MQ is not supported on Truebox servers, and thus, cwtn plugins are not either.

Other tools such as MySEQ and IonBC are available for truebox servers.

It is I'll advised to try and circumvent truebox restrictions. You run severe risk of dpg detection.
 
What would be the best setting to use with MQ2Necro in order to target another mob in a mission other than the boss! I am referring to the Shei Vinitras Group Mission and being able to target the Bald little Alien Mobs that need to be snared, mezzed, or rooted. I want to be able to target the mob and punt them and then get back on the boss mob. I tried Assist with BYOS and Vorpal with BYOS and it didn't work out well. Thanks in advance for the input.

you're going to want to pause the plugin if you want to do something the plugin isn't trying to do.
 
Thanks for the input and I had a response to this on the Shaman as you answered as well. Could I create a small macro in EQ / Ability that would pause, target, punt, the unpause each time one of the little bald headed dudes popped on the stage. I watch a Necro solo this mission with just a healer healing his pet and he manually dotted the mob, pet tanked the entire fight while he cured and used paralysis with the Necro and he beat the mob with no problems. This is on YouTube and it is kind of funny how excited he was when he did this because he had never beaten the mission before this particular time and he gets really excited.
Necro Solo'd and Won!!! This was pretty funny!
 
OR modify one of the Lua's in the shei thread that was made for enc/bard. Enc one works great for me and I would imagine it would be fairly easy to modify it for a SHM
 
I thought there was an all-encompassing LEM that included shaman.
 
manual mode while in raid mode doesn't allow me to select the target I want to select to kill. it only allows me to follow the ma. is there a setting to help make that work?

No. That is intended. All caster classes function that way. Mentioned in a couple places in the FAQ. We won't swap targets, and you can't turn off swapping with the ma, that is how we determine we want to fight stuff.

Melee tooms can have switchwithma because if we're meleeing something we know we're fighting it. Casters we cant guarantee they're going to be doing that, so we are always going to follow our designated MA.
 
This has happened a couple times. when fighting multiple mobs, when the ma switches to the next mob, he'll send the pet but wont send the swarm.

we send swarm any and every time time we send pet with a /pet swarm

- The RG Launcher is unable to *delete* old files.
-- This means you will get an error box if you don't have a current plugin that matches the mq build
-- your options are:
--- a: purchase a license
--- b: delete the old .dll in your plugin folder, and/or
--- c: change your macroquest.ini to MQ2PluginName=0 under [Plugins]
 
I've been noticing something wonky with the bifold click. Bifold and heretic's twincast do stack, but only if bifold lands on you first. The plugin was attempting to do the other order last night, which resulted in a Necro just trying to spam the bifold click.

"/nec StandOnFeignAtHealth" command currently broken for NEC?

Tested on SK, and is working (/shd StandOnFeignAtHealth 1), but won't work on NEC.

Minor, but I noticed today that out of all of the plugins I own and use, MQ2Necro is the only one that doesn't default to the raid MA when you toggle Raidmode to on. Is this a setting somewhere or in the backend?

none of them default to a raidma when you toggle raidmode on - if you have never set which raidma you want, then it doesn't do anything. if you have set which raidma you want (with slash command) it would save that

use the slash command and tell it which one you want to use - then from then on, it uses the one you told it you wanted to

maybe I missed it somewhere in discussion. any thoughts on "UseDecomposition" line of spells. I know its not something we would normally use, but it does technically get useful in darklight with the plants. obviously not a omg cast first cuz its a plant type thing

a usecomposition/memcomposition is almost certainly not going to happen

we will use both "Miasma" line as well as "ChaoticMiasma" line
 
Hey I have a question about how to use AA abilities. I'm wondering how I can cast (Wake the Dead) or (Swarm of Decay) with a /dgae command. I am trying to cast it with all my necros at once.

you would have to pause the plugin before sending your dgae command and then unpause once those things are cast. Otherwise, the plugin will fight you for control of casting stuff.
 
If you want to do something manually, you'd pause the plugin and do it like whelps said.

Have a question. Spell counts attached. Running two necros on ST boss raid. separate groups. same settings on plugin. is the disparity on cast counts due to a dot count thing (in the FAQ), or is that just what happens sometimes with the plugin? Or, does the necro cast/ not cast certain things is there is a bard/druid in the group and what not (one group had bard and druid, one did not have either)? The main culprits that seemed odd to me were the combo casts were higher on one necro, and what looks to be that the other necro was gem swapping to cast those spells on its own (if that makes sense). One never casted scalding and the other did.

it looks like one has raiddotswap turned off - or they weren't actually in raidmode (which would be my guess)

it also looks like one, despite casting combo, doesn't have the trigger'd spells since they have 0 counts for the triggered spells from casting it.

we don't check for the grip portion of combo if the mob has Roar of Thunder from beastlord as it wouldn't take hold

I'd make sure you have all your missing spells.

outside of those two things, there doesn't see anything else
 
The issue isn't missing spells, because the spells are present. The issue is how you have raid swap dots setup. When in raid mode and raid swap dots are on, the Necro swaps in Grip and Fleshrot's individually and casts them. When raid mode is on and raid swap is turned off, it will cast the combo. I don't know if you've done this on purpose, or if it was an oversight. If it's intended, it's a DPS loss overall.

- Added the following commands:
-- added '/nec levant' or '/nec evac' to use "Levant" AA
-- added '/nec invis' or '/nec cloak' to use "Cloak of Shadows" AA
-- added '/nec dmf' or '/nec dead man floating' to use "Dead Man Floating" aa
--- none of these (at least currently) cancel anything or queues to do once finished what they're currently doing
- We will now only swap to the single Grip or Decay during raidswapdots if they are higher level than our combo dot

What do you mean by the swap change, Sic? The combo just casts the highest rank of those individual spells. It doesn't have a rank itself. From the way I'm reading it, it's still going to always try to cast them individually.

the patch notes said:

if the singular grip spell is not higher than the grip that is triggered from the combo version, we're not going to raidswap to it
if the singular decay is not higher than the decay that is triggered from the combo version, we're not going to swap to it

This means, if your combo casts the same spells as the single ones (which isn't always the case depending on what xpac has been unlocked) then you won't cast them individually
