Our next "special" summoning calls up a skeletal monk to do our bidding. The Flying Kick (up to 71 damage) is fun to watch, at the very least. This minion seems a bit more dexterous than the rest, and reportedly is quite capable of handling two-handed weapons with great skill.

Just a thought, if the skeletal monk is more of dex build, treat it like a rogue? Let dex vs agi/Sta define the pet category?

already too much brain power spent on a lvl 56 1-off spell I'll sort it out after some testing, thx for the assist tho

after it is built, lemme know what the selections work out alright

The Necro rez is on point! Sometimes the Shammy needs that. Very nice. One less reason to run both a Shaman and a Cleric, together, in the group.
 
So I have been messing around with MQ2necro and the only flaw I am able to detect is that it wasn't available sooner. Great work you guys.
 
I so far love the new necro plugin. I have not had any issues with them until last night. I was doing a pick up raid and noticed all the necros stopped assisting on the boss. Come to find out when I changed them to chase mode with raid mode on they would not assist any more. Once I put them back into Assist mode they started to dot again. I am used to all the plugins on chase to follow the MA (or Raid MA with raid mode on) and dps the target.

Also I need a way on the necros to set nuke/dot range greater than 100. with KA I could do that pretty easy but with the plugin 100 seams the max for enage.

I moved your posts and merged them together - the thread you posted in was in fippys from someone trolling (you seem to have done the same with paladin)

if you are in raidmode, you need to set your raidassist, because you're in raidmode.

you *can* set the assist range more than 100, use the slash command. 100 is only the max for "the ui box" you can /nec campradius ####

Thanks :) Ya this necro plugin has been a game changer on my necro team. The 3 necros in grp just own on raids now.... lol when I get within 100 of the mob... thanks for the tip
 
doing some grinding in ME on my necro gruop tonight and noticed they are not casting any swarm pets (AA/spells) unless i turn on the burn always checkbox in the plugin. up until tonight i was seeing the swarms on a regular basis ( i am running 4 120's in one group there was a lot of spam pets both WTD corpse pets and skeletal call pets)

if i manually cast it with the plugin pause they show up but when i try to have the plugin run it doesnt ... not sure if im just missing something from an update, i camped out updated through the launcher and tried again with the same scenarios ... anyone else seeing this ?

perhaps im just missing something but as mentioned earlier ive been running these 4 necros a lot this week and just noticed this tonight

it does the stuff as expected
 
swarm of decay, rise of bones, and wake the dead are burn as i mentioned. so yes, you would not see them if you were not burning.

Pet Swarm (call skeleton mass at 120) is not, that is casted as regular rotation.

I suspect you were meeting your burncount previously, and are no longer doing so - which means you're not burning, which means you wouldn't cast those burn abilities

pause several toons - except 1 necro does it cast it now?

because you're not casting every spell every time in the image above

and based on what you're showing in that image, you might need to adjust either a: your dotmanamin or b: your dothps value.

if we could cast all the spells at the same time we would but we cant. :p

so as mentioned, something to do with burning vs not burning for your situation is the difference.

in this case it is likely the dotmanamin is higher than the mana you have available by the time you get around to your swarm pet
or
your dothp value is too high by the time you get around to checking those things (based on the usage of venin and proclamation)

you're not even getting to ignite, which is before pet swarm and then pyre long.

and based on some of the venin/blood usage, means what i said above is likely the case (tho your DotHpNamed isn't for burning, it is literally for named target - so this part we're talking about the other AAs and not Pet Swarm)

try the thing i mentioned, and then also try adjusting the DotHp value to something lower, the default is 30
 
Dragging my 23 year old 112 under-geared necro through Restless Assault using this and he is killing it. Routinely hitting over 2m damage on wurms and embarrassing the raid-geared 119 wiz. Very nicely done gents.
 
My lv1 25 y/o old shaman I never like to play can out dps a wizard...... That class soooooo needs a revamp

Ok note learned the hard way necros will burn all their EEs on an afk dead player... Side note can we get a toggle for EEs... so when it is clicked Soulflay is used to make EEs. vs only used to heal the necro? In grp content where I farm EEs...I am having to cycle through all 3 necros and manually spam the spell for EEs... So a way to not have to do that would be super helpful.

no, not going to do that.

and i don't understand - why do you have a dead afk player that you're trying to rez? should turn off rez if you don't want to rez. and we would obviously only rez our group, xtarget if xtargethealing is on, or our raid if raid mode is on

there are much better ways to make EEs than soulflay line (I'm not going to post here, because it would be a real shame for it to get nerfed/fixed)

- but you *can* adjust your hps you want to lifetap at

Heyas! Loving the necro plugin! One thing I've found annoying though. In Manual mode, it still wants to assist the main assist rather then attacking whatever I have targeted. Is that how it is suppose to work?

thanks for the kind words!

yes, all the caster classes will do that, and that is how we intend that to be - that is why switchwithma is not available on caster/healers. manual/switchwithma is mainly for melee engagement.
(Cleric, Druid, Enchanter, Mage, Necromancer, Shaman, Wizard)

i go over in the necro video - if you want to swap targets, have your MA swap targets.

if you want it to do stuff solo or with you as the tank, then be the tank, or engage a mob (within your camp) and have a target and engaged (on xtarget), and you will do the things - same as the other caster classes

I see, that's kind of a bummer for necro honestly. Can't multi dot in a group set up, or raid set up. I use the macro to lazily play the game, not for boxing purposes. So, I run around main playing the necro. Just noticed in my group that I was doing prog stuff with, my MA briefly AFK'd and I couldn't do anything except manually cast stuff, and the pet would not stay attacking at all. It kept backing off.

ah, well definitely check out the video and the FAQ but i address this specifically and intentionally - you also are a plugin user so you know that behavior is how the plugins work - otherwise you're just going to start trying to dot anythign and everything you target

if your MA is going afk, have them make you the group MA :)

If you're raiding with your necro, you def want to be cross-dotting as many mobs as you can. The plugin isn't going to do that so do yourself a favor and play manually. Your guildmates will thank you.
