Question - MQ2melee, flying kick won't work.

Can't get my monk to use his flying kick skill, or any other skill besides regular kick.

I turned them all off, tried turning them back on 1 by 1 and testing, but the only skill that will work is kick.

Any idea how to fix this?
 
Do you have hot key made for your skills? MQ2 usually won't recognize skills unless you made hot keys. Otherwise /melee save and post your ini file without any toon names.
 
I had a problem with flying kick as well. It would flying kick some of the time, but would frequently just do it once in the fight and never again. I only briefly played a monk so I forgot all about it. My easy fix was to make a holyshit. It made flying kick go off every time it was up without fail.

I've had the same problems with some 'pseudo discs' like Overpowering Frenzy and Jolting Kicks but never had problems with things like Kick or Bash.

BTW I can see a potential problem... If you have KICK=1 and Flying Kick=1 then it may use kick before flying kick giving the impression that flying kick is never used.

it's happening to me as well, it's not his issue, its got to be a mq2melee issue. i haven't changed my settings and it used to work flawlessly.
 
Some people have posted about weirdness after switching toons.
 
Having tons of issues with this current compile and Mq2melee. None of the zerker abilities are working, gut punch for the warrior is also not working.
 
I find that a reboot fixes most MQ2Melee skill issues. Sometimes just unloading and reloading the plugin works too.
 
I am running 6 acccounts...1sk 1 monk 1 bard and they are all running fine with melee idk what to say
