Love the CWTN plugins... only MQ2Mag giving me problems.
I keep getting the message "you're not a mage, Knock that off"
Confirmed MQ2mag loaded but he will not cast spells or move in any way. I am on an emulator server (Lazarus) and have gotten MQ2Mag to work here before but its sporadic...

yeah some servers they don't use
if it says you're not a mage, then they're using some custom thing that isn't how we see a "mage" class.
unfortunately for the emu servers, since they are so vastly different, which often have custom classes and such, the plugins are a "unsupported, if they work they work" kind of situation.
you can turn off summoning of groupmod rod by
/mag UseGroupModRod Offthere is no turning off self mod rod
you can also just block the spell on those characters that you don't want to have modrods, then i don't think they get the lore message
there are other options for some of the other clickies if you're hard pressed for space
useparadox off would also make you not summon the paradox clicky
useservant would stop using servant clicky
useminion would stop using minion
Hello, I noticed on my mage plugin it's not automatically buffing the highest level damage shield I have. Is there anything I need to do to enable that?
Another thing I noticed is that in your tutorial video it shows a clickable UI with settings, I don't have that on mine and I am wondering why. I attached a pic to show. I know the plugin loaded okay because it started to buff itself, the pet etc....
And finally.... my pet won't defend me if I am attacked or stay attacking a target, it auto spams back off as you can see in a screenshot, basically making the pet useless.
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Not sure - maybe something is off on the mq2 build.
the fix that made that happen went in in october, so the correct check for it is there.
1000% suggest running macroquest "Next"
edit: nope test in mq2 and next - is not spamming burning symbiosis
edit2: checked a few different mages over different tier levels, can't replicate
any other details?
you can always add burning symbiosis recourse to your blocked spells if you need to
you added "burning symbiosis recourse" to your blocked buffs and mq2mage is still casting?
can you show me it being in your blocked buffs and your mq2mage window casting?
this is not your blocked buffs in game, or your mq2mage output showing you are casting the spell with mq2mage.

How do I get my mage to stop autoattacking when assisting my main? I dont see an option for that and I dont want him doing that.

Great Macro! I have PMed Sic for some issues I had and he pointed out a few things and it turned out to be operator error and not the plugin. Rather than ask Sic in a PM I figured others might have same question as me(I have searched and read this discusssion looking for an answer).
While on some raids the RL has an assist set, rather than set 2 MA's after a certain point in the event melee get called to stay on adds and casters on named. This leaves me without an assist and forces me to play manually making it harder to box. I have tried switching to Sictank mode and targeting the Named I am supposed to be on, for some reason it will switch to another target(Named I am not supposed to be on the last time I tried). I even tried to unassign the MA(while in SicTank mode) I was using to assist off of before the switch incase it was causing issues. Is there a mode or something I can do to manually target what I want plugin to attack till I am able to switch back to assisting the raid assist?
Next thing I had planned on trying was turning RaidMode off and then try SicTank mode
Any advice would be appreciated.

your msg back in august? i guess you got those sorted out? not sure why you're mentioning it - you said you you werre trying to be secretive about it and it was operator error as you stated (which btw, you just left me hanging in our conversation).
anyhow to answer your now question:
if you are in raidmode, you will assist your assigned raidassist, tank mode or otherwise.
if you are not in raidmode, you will assist your group main assist, unless you are in a tank mode and designated as the main assist, and then you will pick your own targets
so you are correct in "going out of raid mode if you don't want to be in raidmode to assist the designated raid ma"
the most simple solution would be to have your raid MA's all designated and then just swap your
/mag raidassist #|name where # is 1, 2, or 3 or name is the name of the personso if you are normally raid assisting bill with a
/mag raidassist bill you can just swap to bob with a /mag raidassist bob and now you will assist off of bob insteadThank you I will give it a try, I thought I could only assist off of what was in the drop down of assigned assists. Sorry if I left you hanging on our last PM when I realized my mistake I was reluctant to admit it because it was totally my fault and I didnt want to waste anymore of your time :P

I was using this during a raid tonight and I realized the camp radius maximum is 100. Can this be increased? In some cases I would like to be further away from the raid target and still assist. Now if I move outside the camp radius circle I stop casting.

Discussion about 10 post up. use the cmd line /mag campradius (your number)
it isn't. that is just the ui - because we decided it is more likely that someone would fat finger a campradius larger than expected in the ui, and if they wanted to change campradius to something larger, they could use the slash commands

My setup is slightly unusual in that 4 accounts have their own EQ folder, while 2 accounts share another EQ folder. The mage is one of the 4. The zerker is one of the 2. I only have one MacroQuest folder
I just installed MQ2Mage. I am using Next, and have been using MQ2Berzerker for a week or so with few problems. Now when I "/plugin mq2mage load", I get this error:
the procedure entry point ?RemoveBuffEffect@PCZoneClient@EQClasses@@QAEXHH@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library xxxMQPluginsPath\mq2mage.DLL
I did get a similar error with MQ2Berzerker, googled the error and followed a few of the suggestions, one of which (admin cmd -> scf/scannow) appeared to fix it. It didn't help with the mage plugin.
I tried putting xxxMQPluginsPath into the system path, still no luck.
This is windows 10, up to date. I ran all the optional updates in case there was a driver / graphics problem. I have 211gb free disk and as far as I know, no RAM problems.
I've attached my server_toonname.log for the last session and also the MacroQuest log.
My computer:

I'm willing to just abandon the effort to set up this plugin on my old computer for the time being, as regular KA is working ok and that would be fine for a month or so.
I don't want to move my EQ play on to the new machine until the 64-bit version of EQ forces me to. While I'm working on getting EQ running on the new computer, I'd like to keep playing on the old one.
