If the tanks in all the groups are all running cwtn, hit the cwtn all tanks button to configure. Otherwise you will need to come up with a generic configuration which handles all tanks
Thanks, yeah I saw the all tanks button but I wasnt sure on how to configure it - - ill give it a whirl. In 3 weeks when my crew gets out of jail and back together again. Haha. Thanks!
 
MQ2Grind does not perform such decisions and spawning of a merc-healer. Neat idea but very situational. The best way to handle that would be to be at the keys to help your group recover in a custom way.

I'm curious why your healer would die first though. It leads me to remind folks to:
  • disable selos while grinding - selos will over run all locations and boundaries set up for group safety
  • have your tank aoe counts set correct
  • have your configuration for tank automation (cwtn/rgmercs/ka/ma/etc) to have ae aggro ready for aoe counts

man it took me about a day and a half to find this again, very helpful info my shaman kept dying updated these settings very much smooth. Thanks.
 
While running mean streets grind on my 125 group, my SK gets chain messages of "you do not seem to have that spell memorized" for pulling. I'm assuming the LS spells haven't been added yet?

That is an issue with whatever automation you are using. MQ2Grind does not do anything with combat.

Hmm, not sure what it could be then because MQ2Eskay works fine with the LS spells. Not running anything else on the SK that could be interfering.

I did edit the MQ2Grind.ini to use "Petition for Power" instead of "Protest for Power"

Oh wow that's a very old INI file. That was changed ages ago to cast spell gem number as default. Incisor would not over write if you had something.

I would recommend having a look at the new default settings created by clicking the cwtn twisted buttons.

There a way to disable the "Failed to start, Your group must be next to you" -- im hoping to put a offline toon in group and just have sk/merc duo the mission. that possible?

First time I've heard for something like that. Which mission are you trying to do this with? I can definitely look at the viability.
 
the underfoot mission "Don't Fear the Destroyer"

also having a slight issue and its probably me since i just bought ur macro, and never used it but it gets to step 8/37 and just sits here, for a long time. idunno if there is a setting i need adjust, or maybe im messing it up, did it 8/37 and before was 24/37

I suspect old mesh vs recent mesh. Try this, put in MQ/resources/MQ2Nav folder then reload the mesh if you are still in it.

seemed to work, thanks! last question is there a way to look up available instances or that just something you post on here when u update them, didn't know if you were typing something ingame for that list i see posted.

If you are on TLP and have access to Underfoot as the max - you'll only see Brells in `/grind list`

Each Grind instance is displayed based on which expansion you have access to.

Is there a setting I missed to watch healer/group mana during an instanced?
Currently MQ2Grind does not watch healer/group mana during the run. Some have used a lem/Lua to handle this @a_moss_snake I believe wrote it. AMS? Help out here? maybe post it as a resource?
 
Is there a way to stop your group from running to the quest giver? I parked my crew near the door and went to get the quest with the tank. Inc train to the bar hahaha. The two instances that I have in question are the new LS ones. It looks bad when your crew is training through the Inn to either door to begin your instance. I see folks doing it and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Having just the tank motor through is np at all. Still loving this plugin!

That behavior only happens the first time you start grinding in LS. After that initial run the non-driver toons will remain at their doors and the driver will run solo to the quest giver. Now if your non-driver toons are chasing the driver, I'd guess you don't have them pausing correctly.

Thanks for the new routes! You're the best

For Heros are Forged, one of my six toons is not zoning in automatically, quite often. Updated Default nav meshes. MQ2Grind updated to latest build. Seems to happen to my gnomes. Not sure it has anything to do with toon size though. Just an observation.

ran into my first issue with mq2grind i use it all the time in GD Restless Assault but now it seem it get stuck on loc 1-2 just doesnt move to the next step. any one else haveing a problem?
 
I did as well. I updated my navmesh via Launch Mesh Updater and ran /nav reload on my toons and it seem to work for me. Good luck!

If your are able to replicate this please do so then type /grind debug

Share what it says and make sure no toon names. I suspect your group is spread too far. Reduce your chase distance on your toons to help our adjust the group gap.

If that isn't the issue please share what the debug outlins. Thanks!

when he says reduce chase distance and you say opened up, are you saying you increased the number or reduced it? im having same problem, getting stuck on locations and i've never had any issues since over 2 months of using.

i had it at 25 changed it to 150. same thing no problems till today not sure why the guys are lagging behind out of no where

Where are you having troubles?

I've added additional safety checks before running away from the group members. When you get stuck, use /grind debug and it should outline what the issue is.

Have you ensured that you have the latest grind build?

Group is 124 SK, 121 Zerk, 122 bard, 119 necro, 122 bard and a 115 rogue as a tag along. Currently running the Ayonar grind. Exp is slow but it's consistent. Would this group be capable of successfully doing the higher grinds like mean streets etc? What say you Redguides?
