They banned a shitload of people today for MQ2.
burdsjm said:Know a few people that were banned today. Only thing they ever used other than warp was ghostkill.

Greetings,
Thank you for contacting Sony Online Entertainment. As you requested we
reviewed the status of your account and the offense that caused Sony
Online Entertainment to close your account. Due to the excessive use of
third party programs to cheat at completing various missions, we decided
not to release your account. We do appreciate your understanding as to
why we had to make such a strong decision about your account. We are
sorry we could not be of more assistance and we wish you luck in your
travels.

majin1970 said:It looks very odd to other players in game. Basically, they see your character standing in one spot and when you run ghosted, you run forward a few feet and then appear to be leashed back to the point you started ghosting.
Information displayed on other peoples maps comes from the SOE servers sending you data. This basically means that MQers and Non-MQers won't see you moving on the map (except for the moving a few feet forward and leashing.) They will see you show up in a different area of the map when you /ghost off. People may think you're warping so it's best not to do this in front of people you don't know or people who don't know you MQ.
Best idea is to just not use this infront of people, period.
