no, as i mentioned there's nothing to adjust.
we don't really do any "target back and forth" - we only target something we plan on doing something to - like where i mentioned TashThenCharm - you can try turning that off and see if the behavior changes to what you'd like
if you want to /enc debugcharm on and PM me the output next time you get that, i'll take a further look
but i suspect this update i did will fix it once RG is rebuilt
yep, you can't just willy nilly memorize random stuff the plugin doesn't say it will use
you can click the spells and discs tab and it will tell you what spell for which of our spell groups it is looking to use
if you upgraded to a new spell, it'll use that.
without knowing the details i can only give you that info
Okay I know I'm doing something wrong. I've checked the FAQ and watched the video, but I absolutely cannot get the MQ2Enchanter to charm. I have:
- Charm dropdown is set for "Charm"
- It's properly memorizing the "Charm" spell (I'm level 12)
- UseCharm is enabled.
- I have no other pet out.
- I'm duo'd with an MQ2Cleric - The chanter is set for PullerTank and the Cleric is set to assist
we wouldn't try and "keep charmed" a mob you manually charmed - because we didn't charm it
re: not charming at all - dunno charming doesn't really care much about who MA is or anything, but i would recommend putting your chanter as group main tank and group main assist since you have them as pullertank - this is better for both the cleric and the chanter

If you can delete the spell from your spell book, then do that and then unload and load the plugin. If you don't have the spell the plugin won't use it.
With that said, mez spells tend to have max level mezzing for targets. Meaning it could cause you to be unable to mez some targets because the spell is older.

fwiw, if frostreaver has "special" level requirements - then MQ doesn't handle that.

some ruleset servers get special adjustment to spells, but mq appears to still be reporting the "normal/standard" spell information on vaniki with special ruleset this spell, for example, will work...

so if this was a case with levels being different than what we think it is, then that's unfortunately due to that issue

@Sic @ChatWithThisName This healing thing is similar to the mez for the enchanter I was asking about the other day. Where most of our low level mezzes go up to 55 (Glamour of Kintaz is the 1st that goes to 55+) but cost alot more mana so a step down or two really saves mana and usually is sufficient. When I use BYOS/custom they didnt want to use it because its not the most recent or highest level the plugin has. Any chance that can get a update if you get time? Thanks for your consideration on this.

i don't expect we'll be making that change for mezzes - there's a reason and way we do it for heals, but that doesn't 1:1 translate to mezzing.
should consider not upgrading (or deleting) if you don't want to have the newest/most current version

no. if you dont have a charmed pet, it charms the first thing it can

there are 3 types of charms: Charm, Demand, and Command.
Charm just fades on expiration, Command stuns on expiration, and Demand has a chance to memblur on expiration

yarp - it wasn't until bard that we thought it was important to name it "UseMezST" and "UseMezAoE" to distinguish/clarify, but didn't want to go back and change variables/info - tho we could overload it for visible clarity and keep the old underlying stuff (I'll probably do that to keep it clear/clean)
@Sic Setting the roles worked. It's charming on its own now. That said, the behavior for attacking is weird. When I have the chanter set as puller tank, and the cleric set as assist, it will pull mobs no problem, but then when the mob is down to about 8% or so everyone will stop attacking. It will calm the pet down and just let the mob walk away then it won't pull the next thing until the mob that wandered off breaks agro. The chanter also isn't dotting the mob when in puller/tank mode. Should I have the cleric be pulling instead? (It's a chanter/cleric duo)
Group main assist should be the the most reliable toon targeting the mob full time, a healer or cx is not the best candidate

On Frostreaver and new to the plugins. I manually run my Paladin tank, KissAssist with my cleric and have MQ2Enchanter running smoothly. I have sometimes noticed that the enchanter will run oom chain-slowing a mob that it had already slowed when I change to a group target. This will often happen when I target myself, cast a heal or cure or rebuff and then retarget the mob. When I return target back to the mob, the chanter will again slow it. This also happens when I target someone else mid combat. I have a work around for it with a hotkey that turns off slow and then turns it back on after a few seconds and this seems to help. Curious if this is intentional design or something I am doing incorrectly that I shouldn't be.

nope. not intentional - and haven't heard anything like that
what spell specifically (by name). We use Slowing Helix AA, Serpent of Vindication, or Slow Spells like: "Dreary Deeds", "Forlorn Deeds", "Shiftless Deeds", "Tepid Deeds", "Languid Pace"
for all of them we check:
- if the mob has the buff by name
- - so if we're casting "cool slow" and they currently have the debuff "cool slow", we don't recast it
- if the slow we're trying to cast has potential for being more than what they have on them (if they have a 10% slow on them and we want to cast a 50% slow, we'll try and cast the 50% slow
are you using a custom-ui? if so, which ui?
no, not for this as it is pretty straight forward.
to re-cast on the mob it would need to fail the debuff existing on your target window, which is why i asked about the UI
you can PM me output on your mq2enchanter window to show it re-casting tho if you need.
