Are none of the lvl 123/124 AoE mez any good?

Wondering why its not requesting to buy/using these on the way to lvl 125.

At character level 124 mines still memorizing lvl 120 mesmeric stare (mob max lvl 123)

Options at 123 would include wonderment (mob max lvl 128) (seems super short 6 seconds)

Options at 124 would include Stupefying Wave (9 ticks) or Vexing Glance (long cooldown i think)


Won't be long and i'll hit 125, just wondering if these could be useful while leveling to 125. Max lvl 123 doesnt really effect much in the expansion.

because we don't use wave, stare, or glance lines
 
is there any advantage to using ripple aura and reproduction? do you get more procs? or is this the same thing and would prevent your enchanter from doing something else more productive

Its the same thing, so you can flex your aura/spell loadout to only have 1 (thats what i do).
 
I just loaded my 121-123 Spells but when I load plugin, my Enchanter is not loading up any spells nor is he casting anything at all. HELP!! :angel:
 
Question my chanter is CONSTANTLY mezzing single mobs if there anyway to set him to STOP mezzing when only one mobs left, and or a single pull. it very agitating because i run mages and than the rage pets stop attacking reducing my dps. is there any ways at all to set him up to stop mezzing when one is left or a single pull?

Also i notice there is no options for reviving the merc is there any chance this can be incorporated into this nice program.

Sounds like you skipped the mq2enchanter sticky - definitely make sure to check there

for a couple of reasons:
a - you didn't say what spell, so i have to guess. reading the "how to ask for help" and then using that information means you get better help
b - it is likely already answered in the FAQ

you either are using chaotic (intended) or you don't have an MA assigned

Q. Why does it cast Chaotic on the mob we're fighting?

A. We use Chaotic for purposes of the twincast it gives.
If you don't want it to use Chaotic you can /enc UseChaotic off

Q. Chain Casting Mezzes all the time and won't cast anything else in combat?
A. Double-Check that you have a group main assist assigned. Using the leader of the group, and in the group window (for others) or your own window (for self) right click the health bar. Use the available in game options to assign the role of Main Assist to the character. You should now mez everything except their target.


no, we don't do anything with mercs at all, and have 0 plans to. mercs are garbage and this is multiboxing software =p

Just noticed this started happening myself. No changes on my end but the ench will mez things mid fight sometimes twice or even three times if he's idle enough. Really makes casting any kind of swarm pet pointless. This is a new behaivor imo. I have yet to catch what's being cast, I'll start trying to.

Mid fight, even when there's one mob in camp, it's casting Chaotic Befuddling.
yes, which is usechaotic, which is what is in the faq and what i responded to yesterday :'(

I am praying, in more ways than one, that 2024 will be the turning point for my health and the country. We can't do another 4 years like this last 4 is going to turn out. I don't know where all of you live but we had better do something so that we can stop worrying about another Terrorist attack on the Unitied States. Keep praying, that is all we can do. weird, that spell is an oddball one, the mana cost for it doesn't actually return its manacost, we have a function to determine the correct manacost from AAs that do these "multiple best in group spells", so I can check if a similar formula works for this spell line, currently we just make sure we have at least 10k mana

I can take a look tomorrow - but nah, nothing you're doing wrong

Came here to say the same thing- after rez, my chanter is spamming Deviser's Unity but doesn't have the mana for it. Might be a my-enc-is-gimp problem, but figured I'd ask.

it shouldn't be spitting out the debug - sorry about that.

it looks like the "II" thing here is the culprit, we'll look into that
 
Is there a way to disable charming AND disable the use of a pet? pet is causing issues preventing a mob from being attacked. i end up dismissing enc pet so my sk grabs agro, then move a few feet. And i personally find charm very annoying.

you can put pet summon components in your bank if you really dont want to have a pet - and then just turn usecharm off

In the LS group mission Final Fugue, I really appreciate that the spell gem 13 is open when you turn off alliance and NDT. Let's me fire off the stuns when needed and not have to resort to BYOS for the fight.

The couple times I have done this so far, I resort to running the ENC for that fight after we initially engage. Is there a way to automate the cast of the stuns that I can setup more graceful than this?

I suppose I could make a hotkey on my Tank to

/enc pause on
/enc duck/stand (he's mounted so how do you interrupt on a horse?)
/cast gem 13
Pause for the cast time and then
/enc pause off

Seems janky and not eloquent but possibly functional.

I want the enchanter to auto buff, but byoscustom tries to summon pet. It would be nice to have more granular options as opposed to try to kludge a result.

Both options are mutually exclusive. even without the bug, it is logical to provide both. the code already exists to do both between all plugins. But I doubt any argument would change your mind unfortunately. No disrespect intended.

Sorry about that, we don't plan on having that as an option.

We will automatically use the stun spell(s) that the plugin says it uses. Make sure you're patched.
 
I might be having an issue. I am not sure when this started because I don't use the enc much now that I fixed the bard, but my enc will continuously cast Throttling grip. i am not able to make it stop even with a pause. he targets my group members and keeps casting it like he is trying to buff them.
