So just the main issue then with the build. 1774 is working fine at the moment. So whatever changed between that and the new one is causing that crash.

So after the most recent fix above, my 120 Enc seems to be stable and loads up MQ2Enc fine, but my 115 Enc is still crashing as soon as the character loads into the game.

Updated this morning, so should be on current build. Getting the following aura spam. Level 95 on Rizlona. It'll cast the aura, then clear the second and recast, over and over.

Mod edit: image had a toon name in, but I saw it
 
I ran the updater this morning and it shows current. I'll have it reinstall and see if it picks up something newer.

which borked something else
un-borked the bork which fixed the crash that fixed the thing

now should be fixed, unborked, and uncrashed

My enchanter is level 112 and he has the level 108 mez memmed (Chaotic delusion), can mez up to level 113. Why not the level 111 Deceive which can mez up to level 118 ?
Am i missing something ?

Q. Why am i not memorizing my Single Target Mez?
A. You probably have usechaotic turned on, in which case we use chaotic mez. If you want to memorize your single target mez, you would want to turn that off.
 
I'm probably missing something, but my searching has led to no avail.

Currently my chanter will charm the first mob it comes across, when it breaks the rest of the team will kill it, and then the chanter never recharms anything the rest of the time they are in zone. Is there a command or setting I need to turn to make that work? Another friend is experiencing the same thing.

i can take a look. we actually try and re-charm the mob you had lost, but we might be continuing to look for that spawn
 
Apologize if this has been mentioned somewhere; Ive tried to look at videos and search but havent found an answer.

Is there a way to force AE mez instead of single target? I did Queen in SoD last night, and theres a horde of adds - initially the enchanter ae mezzed, but soon moved to singletarget, blasting away all the mana.

it is going to ae mez, then single mez.

as the faq mentions if you don't like the loadout you can byos/byos-custom - that would be the only way mq2enchanter can be forced not to single mez, but still do aoe mez.

bard will have a toggle for single vs aoe mez but we don't have plans on doing that for enchanter

Thanks for the clarification. Just so I understand how it works; would it AE mez again when a bunch of new mobs show up on xtarget?

Enchanter will use the AOE mez if it's up. It'll even prefer the AOE mez.
If the AOE mez is down it'll move on to PBAE Mez, then single mez (be it chaotic or normal).

So yes, we use the AOE then we move on to other options that are up and ready.
So yes, it'll single target mez stuff, but should only do that if your AE mez is down or the max mez level on the AE mez isn't sufficient to mez the intended target but the single mez is.

did you check the FAQ?

if a mob you need to mez is inside of your campradius in a non-manual mode, you'll move to try and mez it asap. so be smart with your campradius


Q. My enchanter is sometimes moving to do stuff when I don't have usemelee on?
A. If you are in any mode other than manual mode, you will move to mez if you don't have line of sight and the mob is in your camp radius. You will also move to get into your combat routine for things like tashing, slowing, debuffing, and to get combat going. Since our caster classes are always going to assist their MA, even in manual mode (because manual mode is really designed for melee classes), you can just go in manual mode to disable this.

Wonderful plugin! I hit 120 on my chanter and he stopped using haste for some reason. I dont have any spells blocked or anything. can anyone give me some suggestions to remedy this please.

Nothing changes there.

You didn't really give much information (check the how to ask for help in the sticky).

Toons need to be local characters using mq2cwtnbuffs with nothing thatq doesn't think stacks

Thanks Sic! I aint the sharpest tool in the shed. I recently moved my 3 casters to another PC and left 3 melee on my main PC. I'm guessing thats probably causing it

Is there any way to get the chanter to use it's stun? I have Dizzying Vortex memorized via the BYOS option, and usenuke is on. It is chain nuking just fine, but refuses to cast Dizzying Vortex despite it being memorized. I even removed all other nukes from my spell gems so ensure it was not simply prioritizing the other nukes, and it is still not casting the stun.

did you check out the byos/byos-custom video ---> here is a minute marker for you

we don't currently use those spells, so memorizing them with byos/byos-custom isn't going to do anything.

we'll likely come back at some point and add byos/byos-custom usage, but not at the moment.
 
Is there a way to slow down the usage of the breathing dot as spam nuke? I'd love for it to cast it once or keep it up on the mob, but not use it as a 'nuke', per se. It really eats mana at level 85.

I'll discuss this with Sic.
Kinda makes sense to spam it for nuke dmg only if UseNuke is on.
But Just get the DoT if UseDoT is on but UseNuke is off.

For what it's worth, the reason it's such a strong nuke at 120 is because of the "Enhanced Ruin" AA line. At level 85 I don't think Enchanters have that AA so it really should only be used as a DoT.

Enhanced Ruin's description is deceptive. It claims to only help DoTs, but it also modifies the nuke linked to DoTs when it's applied in a classic EQ Math setting.
