MQ2Enchanter

Plugin - MQ2Enchanter (2 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

it works like normal when a mob is engaged...then when the fight is over it gets caught in that loop memorizing over and over
yes. because spell memorizing is only checked during downtime.

what spells is it putting in the other gems?

do you somehow not have a bunch of aas? like aas from your 90s including Slowing Helix?

It is a heroic FTP 110 enchanter, it has 4722/250 aa's...whatever heroic assigns bey default. Haven't popped a krono on it yet, was waiting to max 110 exp bar before that

I can't possibly keep asking the same question twice, bud :(

do you have slowing helix?

No, it's not part of the heroic character grant

I am aware that lvl 90 AAs are not part of the autogrant for lvl 85 toons.

if you get that AA your issue will go away.

I'll see what i can do to fix the issue for when you don't have the expected AAs for your level

Thanks S. It does engage like normal when a mob is pulled, when it usually sits down to med after the fight that's when it gets caught in the mem-mem loop between those two spells and it's only on slot 7

Good morning,

my /enc missing says no spells missing. I am level 113. In slot 3 is Chaotic Deception. The plugin is not mezzing adds when the NPCs are higher levels than me. It was mezzing in a different zone with blue/LB cons, although it might be using a different spell/aa to mezz.

Any advice to troubleshoot?

are you sure the mob is not on your mez immune list?

what zone / what mobs?

Chaotic Deception should mez up to 118. Try unchecking UseChaotic and see if you have better success with standard mez. Giants you won’t have any luck with. But everything else in GD is comfortably mezzable.

Redbot updated MQ2Enchanter with a new update entry:

03/08/2021

- Updated UseSanguineAt message to reflect it us used at a health value and not a mana value.
- UseTashAoE addition which uses Bite of Tashani AA.
-- This means you can toggle off single Tash and only use the AoE Tash AA if you like.
- UseSlowAoE addition which uses Envoloping Helix AA.
-- This means you can toggle off single Slow and only use the AoE Slow AA if you like.
- Spellgem adjustments.
-- If UseTash is off (the single target), we will...

Going to check it tonight. Thanks for the info! I'll report back if that worked .

On TLP Riz my chanter doesnt buff the "group resist magic" buff.

Any chance you could add this to the buff routine?

we currently don't have any of the plugins doing any resists or misc things like enduring breath etc - they are often situational and very short duration.

At level 60 the routine calls for Boltran's Agacie (53) charm (max 53 npc) and Glamour of Kintaz (54) mez (max 57 npc) instead of the direct upgrades Dictate (60) charm (max 58 npc) and Rapture (59) mez (max 61 npc) there might be a reason for using the lower ranks I dunno, just a heads up incase it's an oversight.

dictate is a 5 minute recast and a 48 second duration.

Just checking is any one else getting crash messages when using mq2enchanter?

i have not heard of any.

are you sure the dmps are mq2enchanter?

can you pm me 1 or 2 of them

These would be in your Release -> Logs folder called "mq2enchanter_20210316.dmp" or similar.

Keep in mind it is possible to see personal information in your dmps like character names or server etc

I emailed them to eqmule let me pm you some
plugin-specific ones - like if these are mq2enchanter dmps, should go to the plugin author - you can send any of the cwtn plugin dmps to @ChatWithThisName and/or myself. tho like i said i'm not aware of any current crashes with the cwtn stuff

unfortunately, none of these dmps you sent are mq2enchanter dmps

your call stack doesn't jump out at me immediately as to what it could be - but it doesn't appear to be mq2enchanter related

You do have a lot of plugins loaded, and there are a couple that if you're not using specifically i would suggest unloading

if you're not using any of these spcifically i would unload them.
mq2bandolier
mq2bardswap
mq2bufftool
mq2charnotes
mq2clipboard
mq2collections
mq2combat <--- this is known to crash people upon zoning/loading
mq2exchange
mq2medley

I would ESPECIALLY suggest unloading mq2combat

Noticed some unexpected behavior today, level 56 enc on TLP. Highest mezz only goes to 57. Had two mobs in camp, a 56 and a 58. Tank engaged the level 56 mob, Enc kept spamming and interrupting Tash on the level 56 mob. Once the level 56 mob died, the Enc cleared up and resumed normal behavior.

Edit: I've done further testing. If the tank engages the non mezzable mob, the Chanter functions as expected (mezzs add, slows and tashs). If the non mezzable mob is not engaged, the chanter will get stuck casting and interrupting whatever spell it was planning on using at the time (I've seen it happen with both tash and slow).

question on mod rod usage. I have mq2enchanter, cleric, shaman. I haven't actually ever seen them use the mod rod. I used addclicky manaself. Is there a better way to get them to use the mod rod? especially during combat would be ideal.

this is one of the things that will get revamped when we redo the clickies at some point

tl;dr - you need to reload the plugin once you have a summoned manaself item - as it checks when you load up the plugin and says you don't have one - its pretty dumb, but it will be part of a larger fix

Looking for ideas on why my auras aren't loaded (in the UI) when starting the character. I've previously set them (e.g., /enc aura 1 6), but they are gone when I start up next time. It's got to be something local since I don't see anyone else making comments about it, but I'm drawing a blank as to what it might be.

no, I think you are correct.

I believe this is because we check the ini settings BEFORE we check what spells/abilities we have when the plugin is loaded.

cwtn and I will take a look at it

You were correct. We moved some stuff around last patch which accidentally borked the enchanter's remembering which Aura's were loaded. Next time VV patches enchanter will remember again.

My chanter won't mez sometimes :-(

I can't figure this out. I'm running MQ2Grind in Great Divide (Restless Assault). All toons 115, most toons (including chanter) are max AA.

He mezes during some instances and won't at all in other instances of this mission. It's driving me nuts. I've read through the notes and thought it might me the UseChaotic flag. I've had some luck turning it off and the chanter start mezing, but it's inconsistent (meaning I can't repeat the process). Here are my settings:

1616513414282.png

I've gone so far as to unload the plugin, delete both the plugin ini and the chanter ini and then reload it. I get the same results (not mezing).

What I'm wondering is if the plugin thinks the wurms are unmezzable and so it's not even trying? I know for a fact they do mez.

He does mez in other zones with the same setup.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

are the wurms getting added to your mez immune list? (check plz)

next update you will be able to turn off the auto adding of mezz immune mobs

Damn it - I hate asking questions when I've not covered all the bases.

INI:
[greatdividetwo_mission]
MezImmune=|A frozen Coldain|A restless wurm|

I'm going to remove these and try the mission over again in a bit. I suspect this is my issue.

they're also on your "ignore" tab to save you opening the file

I was in Ahkeva Ruins the other day hunting lucid shards (Riz-TLP) and I noticed that with UseCharm enabled my enchanter kept trying to charm the Shaded Stones and other rock/elemental type mobs. They are charm immune. I turned off UseCharm to correct for this, but just wanted to see if anyone else noticed this too? (perhaps already posted on it and I missed it?) While my enchanter was trying to charm repeatedly he was useless on DPS and CC.

we don't currently track charm immune, you'd need to just turn it off in an area like that - or charm something and try and keep it

Thank you much Sir. One quick Question, entirely different scenario on Manual mode will a chanter still Mez?
