Release MQ2EasyFind

[Feerrott2]
House of Thule=door:1 -1404.85 926.96 -4.55

I can't seem to find it but is there a way to stop it from /travelto after the command has been given?

INI:
[Qeytoqrg]
The Western Plains of Karana - 1=1240 -2475 0
North Qeynos - 1=-450 250 -4
Surefall Glade=5210 80 -3.47

Encountered issues with this as the very first thing in VV.

Having not loaded, unloaded, or started anything I forgot about it's existence(first 5 minutes software running ever) assuming I guess that things had to be turned on first, but I used normal Find window in Crescent for parcels, and I was running into the same things over and over and over. It was bad. After unloading it, it wouldn't stop however. The only way I could stop was to sit down, unloaded after a quick look and tried to stand-but the movement continued, then I camped after not finding any sure way to end the movement.

Perhaps this shouldn't be autoloaded from an initial download, or sitting should automatically end the find, or after too many collisions or something. Was never intending to use it in the first place so knowing how to stop the run wasn't exactly on my priority list before doing anything else. The reason I say it should probably not be autoloading until told to, is that it is a very visible thing and not immediately obvious how to stop for an accidental activation.

To pause the movement, you should make 2 or 3 hotkeys hotkeys.
/nav stop to completly stop the movement.
/nav pause and /nav play to pause and resume it.

you can also open your nav ui console with a /nav ui and then change your settings to Stop Navigation on break behavior

this will make it stop as soon as you press anything on your keyboard

That's all well and good, I'm just never gonna have it running. My point was just that if someone doesn't know these things the first time they hit Find after loading the program it can get dicey depending on location; that perhaps it shouldn't be loaded by default.

Thanks missed that.

In the meantime following works if in pok
Lobby
/if (${Zone.ShortName.Equal[PoKnowledge]}) /nav door id 17 click
Bazaar
/if (${Zone.ShortName.Equal[PoKnowledge]}) /nav door id 6 click

Anyone else having issues with /travelto not working since xpac launched? pulls up the zone path window but doesn't start naving

Greetings,

Was MQ2Easyfind also patched/fixed for TEST server, or is still having issues? As mentioned above, I will issue a /travelto command and the zone path window opens, doesn't travel, freezes clients and then crashes them. If I use dannet to send the command to everyone in my group, they will all crash. I have the most recent patches installed via RG Launcher, and am using it on TEST at the moment. It doesn't always do it, and not all zones, but it is happening a lot. CTRL-F to use find window and manually click on each zone to travel to works. Just curious if it is still broken, or if it is supposed to be fixed?

- Correction CTRL-F for find menu to navigate is also crashing clients when trying to navigate to a zone.

-Update: It is crashing every single time upon starting inside crescent reach zone. It will work in other zones using find menu and /travelto commands. However, it sometimes will crash there too. No dump file is being created.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Is there any chance to make /easyfind take partial matches on things in the find window?
well travelto does, but i don't think easyfind does

so if you know the zone you're trying to go to you can just do that

/travelto zoneshortname
and
/travelto "The Zone Long Name"

of you can left click in the find window for self travel - or right click for group travel

Aye, I just seem to have mixed luck with /travelto. Sometimes it seems to work fine, others it doesn't so i've been using /easyfind since it seems more reliable to move across zones.

For the left/right click, is there a quick click command for raid travel?

Anyone have a good way of using the magus. Mine tries to go to Everfrost and dies.

The Umbral Plains in the [Maiden] section is off by a bit, and breaks. Quickest way to test is running a /travelto vexthal

INI:

The Akheva Ruins - 1=-2310 235 -160
The Umbral Plains=-2098.98 -299.06 -157
should be

The Akheva Ruins - 1=-2310 235 -160
The Umbral Plains=-404 -2331 -156

Update for netherbian -> nexus:

INI:

Dawnshroud Peaks - 1=-735 -53 2
The Nexus - 1=2000 -435 -62

Ok, there seems to be a problem with /travelto Guild Lobby --> Guild Hall. I can't find any problems with the door (manually targeting it, co-ordiantes etc.), and MQ2EasyFind seems to have no dramas navigating directly to the zone line (for example, using the Find window).

What I did notice is that the 'Activate Path' button on the Zone Guide window fails to enable when setting the end zone as Guild Hall. I expect that's the problem?

correct, and that's why it doesn't work - you can just go to lobby and then use the find window to nav to the guild hall - you just can't travelto to guildhall from elsewhere

Hmm, so it's actually a bug with the EQ client? Has it been around for a long time, or forever?

On Test server currently the Zone Connection entries on Find window have been removed from Plane of Knowledge. This has made it not possible to use /travelto to exit plane of knowledge. Is there any way to work around this? Is it possible to manually update the find window to include those Zone Connection entries with proper waypoint locations?

this is an eq bug atm - you have to zone once after logging in. it is a problem now on live as well after the recent patch

Hm, *edit* On Test server *, I logged a character in to POK, clicked book to moors to zone and zoned to moors, then clicked back in to POK. Still there are no zone connections on find window. On Live Server would the Zone connections show after zoning out and in? Test has been like this, with no Zone connections, for a couple of weeks or more I think. I posted a bug report in the EQ forums about this, but it did not get a dev response.
