Since you moved it to avoid replies.

I don't care who nerp is or what he's done. i agreed with his take on druid spam. i just noticed i need to repurchase my plugin. I personally don't share shit, so i have no clue why'd you even mention it to me. You're missing the point.

My reference to navmesh is about the popup errors when you go into any real estate other than guild hall. i use my houses for collects, so i go there often. EVERY time i do, the error appears. Surely you know this already, no?

edit - oops, didn't need to buy it again, but i did. enjoy the beer

no i moved it because it was in response to nerp and he "dogpiles" with other people and i don't want to argue with you or anyone - i want to fix "issues" if issues need fixing, but the personal attacks and dogpiling and all that shit i just dont have time for these days. some people

yeah if you're not in mode 0, and you don't have a navmesh for the zone you're in, we're gonna give you a popup since you are asking the plugin to be in a mode that uses a mesh, but you don't have one. that does sound annoying, i wasn't aware of that *specific* scenario. I'll have a think about doing something for it.
- maybe getting meshes for the houses zones if possible?
- maybe disable nav mesh checks inside houses (but again i'd argue that if you're in a mode that uses a mesh, you'd expect there to be a mesh to do nav type stuff)

you could make yourself a zoned.cfg or a zonespecific.cfg to turn mode 0 if you go into your real estate zones - but yeah, sounds annoying

your druid licenses in good till december - it looks like you had 2 licenses for some reason - i dont know how long that was for? let me just give you like 6 months on there if you're cool with that?

I actually don't go inside the interior of personal housing. I expect that a mesh can be made for them, but with custom placement of objects I doubt it would serve much purpose to have a mesh as you'd likely just run into stuff. I also just make my own meshes and do not use mesh updater.

Not everyone plays the game the same way as each other. In this specific case we were unaware that the mesh updater did not contain meshes for the interior of homes. If there is a specific issue, please do be specific with the report so that we can determine if the complaint makes sense to address, or explain why it does not.

It's not the intention to be dismissive of issues. When able we do make an effort to address concerns. Sometimes even debating the logic of addressing something, how it could be addressed, what the outcome of addressing it is likely to cause related to other things the plugin does, and if the overall benefit of addressing a concern is valid for the majority over an individual need.

Sometimes it makes sense to simply suggest a Lua/macro to handle specific user situations that do not apply.
Sometimes it's not feasible to address a concern.
Sometimes the suggested method of addressing something by the user isn't the path we want to take, such as adding a toggle over just handling something automagically.
Sometimes the answer is no entirely such as someone requesting an automatic monk rotation for raid targets (this was an actual request at some point in the past).
Sometimes it's "we'll need to look into it" because we need to recreate the situation that causes the issue, but then we're unable to recreate it, thus making us unable to address the concern.

So we do read every concern brought up. We discuss every concern brought up. We try to address every concern brought up. But if it's never brought up it's plausible we may not know it's an issue, such as the personal housing.

Edit: regarding personal housing.

I decided to pull up housing options in the mesh generator and the zones show up. However, when you're in the zones themselves they show up differently as things like phinterior3a1 etc instead of plhdkeinteriors3a1. So we're editing the zones.ini file to submit a change and we can get some new meshes made for the zones.

I get it. I've been developing software for 35 years going back to SunOS/Solaris. You just described what every developer goes through when reading and addressing a bug report.

Personally, I feel I've been dismissed a bit too easily. I'll assume you didn't mean to, but I don't get that feeling on other projects i'm on. And yea, I've been there saying the customer is mistaken too ;)

Thx for the time...

I still believe the druid plugin is way too chatty. especially in non-combat zones.
