Q: How do I open the portal ui window?
A:
Q: I want to save the location of the portal UI?
A: MacroQuest is actually saving that location, not mq2druid.
Q: I don't like the spell loadout - are there spell sets?
A: Yes, 3 loadouts, or you can byos/byos custom
Q: I want to root/rot.
A: While you *might* be able to do that, we don't do any rooting (tho - we're rooting for your success and many loots!), or punting, we're also not going to try and save yourself from breaking your own roots from procs and AAs (outside of usenuke). This is, at the end of the day, for boxing.
Q: But I want to root!
A: We don't use the following:
Paralytic Spores: this is a directional (from your face direction) punt/root
Paralytic Spray: this is an AoE directional punt/root
Wall of Wind: this is another AoE directional punt/root
Q: I want to willy-nilly swap targets to multi-dot, debuff, snare, root, /rude, pickpocket, pet aggro, and piggyback-ride.
A: Sorry we are not going to do those things :p

A: Sorry if mq2druid isn't meeting up to those standards. Unfortunately with classes that some folks love so near and dear, there are undoubtedly going to be things that are "not done the way i'd do it".
Q. SwitchWithMA option?
A. There is no option to turn SwitchWithMA off in the Druid we're going to re-acquire the MA's target when we go to do stuff. If you need to change targets, like to target someone for zephyr, pause the plugin.
Q. It spams snare.
A. As mentioned in other places, we don't handle snare immunities yet, but you can always just click off using AA Snare.
Q. I keep recasting my regen buff like "Talisman of Tenacious".
A. I go into more details in the mq2druid vid, but you can just turn of off - /dru useregen off. This is defaulted off as of Sep 11, 2023 for that reason.
Q. I'm not using my Vortex of Ro.
A. Make sure you have a fire beetle eye.
Q. Do I need any spell components?.
A. Yes, a fire beetle eye.
Q. Why does SunBlessing use "Sundew Blessing" and not all the other spells after it?.
A. This just gives you a twincast, all of the different spells give a twincast, but the lowest level one is a much lower manacost.
Q: I have an empty spell gem!
A: Chances are you have several options turned off. This might be a good place to manually memorize a mez or another non-automemorized spell.
Q: Lower level feels weird, has empty gem slots, or ___?
A: Empty gem slots are bound to happen at lower level, and also depending on the configuration of abilities. Feedback for this should be posted in the discussion thread - it doesn't mean it *will* be adjusted, but under many/most circumstances, we want to have useful spells up and ready to be used.
Q: Charm?
A: Yup, charm is an option. You will need to turn off MemCureAll and MemGroupCureAll, or byos / byos custom
Q: I want to re-charm the same mob?
A: Yup, we actually try and do that.
Q: "Spike DS" like Duskthorn and Vinespike?
A: You can byos/byos-custom if you want to use Vinespike DS. We don't memorize it, but will use it if you are byos/byos-custom.
Q: I want to use the "Ways" line?
A: You can byos/byos-custom and memorize that if you need/want. We don't load it automatically. but will use it.
Q: I want to use the "Arboreal" line?
A: You can byos/byos-custom and memorize that if you need/want. We don't load it automatically, but will use it.
Q: I want to use the "Skin to Plant" line?
A: In Heal mode, we will memorize it if you usecureall, usegroupcureall, and usecharm is off
in hybrid/dps mode, we will memorize it in slot 2 if useskintoplant is on
Q: I want to use the temporary hp "growth" line?
A: you can turn that on with usegrowth
/dru UseGrowth true/false/on/off/0/1 - Use Growth temp hp buff line (not the bear, not any other spell that happens to have "growth" in the name).
Q: Is usegrowth for any spell that has "growth" in the name?
A: No, it is just for the temporary hp buff line. When the plugin loads and the plugin spits out all the spell groupings, it says what we call the grouping. I touched on the spell groups in the mq2druid vid. if you need further information on it, please watch it.
Q: What is the deal with the bear?
A:
1: Poop Bear
2: Wait a bit
3: Bear Explodes
4: Get Mana
Q: Can we recast the bear in combat?
A: We will likely add functionality to allow combatmemorizing and usage of the bear - but it is not there at this time.
Q: Can we recast our Aura in combat?
A: Currently, if you Byos/Byos-Custom and have the aura memorized, we will recast it in combat.

Q: How can I get it to break invis to do stuff?
A: MQ2Druid will break invis if a camp is set - so mode 1 would break invis to do stuff, whereas mode 0 would not. If you want to break invis in a mode like mode 2, turn on usemelee.
Q: Epic 1.0/1.5/2.0?
A: We do use the 1.5./2.0.
Q: I want to Pull with Harmonious Arrow?
A: Unfortunately this AA has a 1:30 reuse timer, so it is a bad candidate for pulling
Q: Why am I Not Pulling XYZ mob?
A: Not pulling a mob is almost always an issue either with your Navmesh or your pull settings. If you do a /dru debugpull on once and it will cycle 1 time and spit out in your mq2 window all the mobs and why you are not pulling them. Compare the output with the mobs you think you should be pulling and it will tell you why. This will notify you if you have no nav path, or out of zradius, or regular radius, or on ignore, etc.
Q. I appear to be chain casting Skin / Group Skin - or some other spell?
A. There are a few of these buffs that eq/mq reports stack that do not or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast. This is a built-in EverQuest feature - right-click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs

Q: Why does mq2druid make my vision go zoom / magnify / scrolled out/in/whatever?
A: I go over this in the mq2druid video - this is part of the "mask" line, you can't ignore the magification, unfortunately. If you really hate your toon (no mana regen) you can add mask to your blocked spells, but it is not recommended.
Q: How do I block a spell, like Mask?
A: You would just have that character add it to their blocked buffs.

A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetBuffing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then buff them (they still need to be running mq2cwtnbuffs and be local).
Q. I am not curing my xtargets?
A: Just like buffing - toggle on UseXTargetHealing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then cure them.
Q. Can i GH Buff Bot request portals/zephyr?
A: no, not at this time.
