MQ2Druid

Plugin - MQ2Druid 3.1.52471.11

Looks like MQ2 Druid needs some TOB love ...

Toon: level 125 Druid - Gold account - MQ2Druid loaded
Issue: New TOB spells seem to mess up something in Parse routine(s)?

Details:

Just loaded a level 125 Druid, took Guild Hall dragon to Hodstock Hills, and ran to the spell vendor area.

At the time, only the new level 121 Progressive spell, Reciprocal Winds, showed under the [Info][Missing] tab. I bought that spell from Pinela Skitoon, scribed it, and MQ2Druid refreshed the spell bar with the new spell in slot 12. As expected, the spell disappeared from the [Missing] windows.

I then went to Priest Spells vendor, Kirtus Ball, and bought Rk. I versions of the new Druid spells :

I had no issue scribing the spells, but afterwards, in my MQ2Druid [Plugin Output] window, I saw the following (even did a quick /dru reload to make sure):

1733792385196.png

AFAIK, my plugin should be the most recent update of MQ2Druid --- see the 'MQ Compiled" Dec 5 2024 Time: 14:13:17' in the screenshot.

I have not played the Druid yet, so cannot say if anything else is affected. For now, I am just running around to buy the spells and attune to the anchor point for the 2nd port-in via Guild Hall dragon in Aureate Covert.

Hope this is useful.

thanks, i thought we caught all the missing commas from beta -> live

Thanks Sic!

Oh, if I had had this kind of response from my developers when I tested SW for a living (different universe, a long long time ago ;-) !!

Much appreciate your responsiveness.

asru59

PS. I assumed it was a parsing issue - just glad I could help with what I hope was an easy fix.

Another MQ2Druid issue -- not at all game-stopping, but thought I'd let you know.

Toon: Just turned level 121 Druid - Gold account - MQ2Druid running

Issue: In the [Portal] tab, when doing [Check Missing Portal Spells] -- only Zephyr spells show up as missing for Laurion, Eternity, and Hodstock -- even though the Druid also lacks Ring and Circle spells for these 3 locations.

Not much to add, but the screenshot below shows that missing Ring, Circle, and Zephyr spells show up for Alara, so that part is working.

1734024812079.png

Again, not a showstopper, just a bit confusing as I ended up not being sure if I had the spells or not until I checked the spellbook -- Ring, Circle, and Zephyr spells were indeed missing for these 3 locations.

Hope this is useful.

Hi there,

Playing around at low level and I noticed that the plugin will not use 'E`ci's Frosty Breath' and 'Hand of Ro' debuffs.

These all stack with the Ro's Illumination debuff that is casted when 'Of Ro' is checked. At this level range druid has 4 things that stack debuff wise weirdly.

She also won't cast anything but Summer's Flame when nuke is checked. Winter's Frost is a 65 spell I see she wouldn't use. I was fighting mobs that are fire resistant and she was not having a good time. :P

Howdy

I can check on these things, but yah, not all spell groups/lines are added.

The plugins will say what spells it uses, and won't list things it doesn't.

Thanks for the heads up.

Hello,

It was great finding MQ2Druid available after coming back from not playing for a couple years. I used KA previously and this makes things so much easier.

I do have a question... I tried searching around and couldn't seem to find an answer. My druid, who is currently level 118, keeps trying to buff my group with Spirit of Wolf instead of using the Spirit of Eagles AA, which casts Flight of Eagles II at my level. I tried adding Spirit of Wolf to the blocked spells but then I just go with nothing unless I manually activate the AA. I have a hotkey for it, so if that's the only way to keep it up then so be it... but hoping there is another solution I'm missing. :)

Thanks!

we very intentionally don't use stuff that casts lev

but if *you* want to take responsability for that, you can /dru soe

OnDemand:
/dru AAInvis/Camo - Casts Innate Camoflage.
/dru GroupInvis/GroupCamo - Casts Shared Camoflage.
/dru Egress - Uses Egress self evac AA.
/dru Exodus - Uses Exodus Group Evac AA.
/dru Gate- Uses Gate AA.
/dru SoE- Uses Spirit of Eagles AA.

The on demand commands got me thinking - is there any 'cwtn' way to force the druid (and shaman) to swap spell sets based on stances while in combat without previously storing those sets and using another mechanism for the swap?

Edit: 125 druid, Live, use case is extended in combat engagement such as raiding

no. we don't swap our spells in combat, but eq has built-in "spell sets" so you can pause, then load that spell set, then unpause

Just a feature request.
I would love it if the port UI showed all destinations when the search box was empty, instead of only showing results when you start typing. Similar to Magellan's "by expansion" tab.
The reason: I can't always remember off the top of my head which port zone is closest to where I want to go.

Well, put in the type.
Self, group, etc

Hello!

In my 6 man, I have both Druid and Cleric. Cleric main healing and druid set as Hybrid loadout.
At level 94 currently.

Every now and then my cleric will get KO'd - that's my fault.
Fight ends.
I'm expecting my druid to UseRezCall to bring the cleric back, and then for the cleric to rez themselves at 96%.

But the druid won't UseRezCall.
I can manually do it - and have the few times this situation has happened.

I must be doing something wrong though - why wouldn't the druid UseRezCall?

On the druid I have UseRez and UseRezOnRaid Un-Checked. (I don't want the 90% rez).
I have UseRezCall checked.

Please let me know if any additional information is needed - or to call me names if I'm missing something super obvious.

I can check later, but recall would only be used in combat, and would wait for real rez for out of combat

For some reason, I cannot get my druid to work in Hunter Tank mode without checking "DisablePullAbility". It seems like it wants to use a pull ability I don't have, but I also don't see any missing spells listed when the plugin starts up. Would anyone know what pull ability it tries to use for druid when you don't disable it?

we use blessing of ro for our pull ability - but we only use this if we have the AA - it would say when the plugin loads that your PullAA is "Blessing of Ro"

you probably are missing a fire beetle eye

Just a quick question, I just recently bought this plugin and am messing around with it. Does the "Burn" interfere with the druid's heal logic at all when it's in Heal loadout? I've noticed a couple times that my MA is spiking all over the place (and has even died a couple times) while the group and druid are burning at MobCount 4, and the druid seems to mostly be focused on offensive stuff. I've got MA/MT set, and I don't *think* I'm super laggy. Let me know if I might be missing something else, thanks!

No, heals are always checked first (and you can't change it). But if it finds something to do, it'll do it, we don't interrupt anything.

Load out doesnt change behavior in that way.id check your heal thresholds are what you want/expect, and if you want your burn count to be 4 or not.

Iirc you were lower level (not modern game), so definitely make sure you're not stretching the class past its limits for that level range.

Re: performance: If you're not using framelimiter - you should be.

Thanks sic. I'll tinker around with things some more, appreciate it.

Hello I’m boxing a Mag/druid combo at this moment my mage I main is level 53 with tank merc/pet and Druid is 73 the issue I’m having is I have the Druid set as healer and it isn’t healing at all but it’s continuing to try and buff my pet/myself with a DS that won’t stick at the moment. Is there someway to stop this from happening so it will actually do what it needs to do in a group setting?

Hello, can you give us a heads up on what automation? One of the mods will come move this to the right spot, and then can get you more focused help.

So this will get moved, and pro answered by the CWTN team, most likely you have EQ lying about what buffs stack, so MQ buffs, overwrites cause EQ is silly, so MQ buffs again, and back and forth it goes. But if you could tell the spells or provide a snip of what MQ2druid is outputting (no char names pls), it would be helpful.

/Dru useds false might be a quick fix

For what it's worth, At that level you could probably just let druid use a tank Merc and the mage could do nothing but sit there and get power leveled pretty quick

He was trying to cast mammoth strength and highest thrones buff it at currently at 73 but the mage/pet aren’t high enough yet for them to stick and it just focused on to the pet and kept trying to cast it over and over instead of doing a lower level spell or just not at all since it doesn’t land

Howdy bubba, that sounds frustrating

So block those spells for mage and mage pet. Mammoth strength in particular has an issue with some mage pet spells.

Please be sure to check out the sticky and the druid FAQ, which will save you a bunch of headache.

There instructions on what to do if you run into that scenario
