8/13/2025

- Updated our "safe zones" to include Evantil's Treehouse and others
- Work-arounds for dbg funkyness with clicky changes
- - we will no longer target your pet to use a clicky if that clicky is one of your "best" clickies
- - - an example would be a familiar clicky
- - "Metamorph: <name>" we will now always target your pet
- When we do our "Plugin On" checks we will now treat that as if we zoned for purposes of doing things like manage our spells
- - this should help with the sluggishness of...

My CWNT plugin UI resets to default when changing personas
Yes. And as far as I know there isn't anything that says "hey we just swapped classes" in mq for us to bounce off of, so for now you have to load reload the class plugin

ChatWithThisName updated MQ2CWTNCommons with a new update entry:

8/19/2025

- expanded some of the clickies we automatically populate
- - including, but not limited to: Spirit Drinker's Coating, Valia's Unyielding Bravery, Skull of Null (diff versions), "Huntsman's Ethereal Quiver, etc
- - You can "disable" any of these you dont want it to be used
- Added additional checks for "Of Unity" items feather/horn to try and avoid stacking conflicts

Possible to have the MQ(class) plugins to assist only without moving? Sometimes in tight spaces, characters positioning ends up dropping them off cliffs/down holes/etc. IE: Have the characters on follow of driver account and they just assist/attack what is in range in front of them.

turn off usestick if you don't want to stick.

turn off usestick if you don't want to stick.

This does not solve them moving on their own, at least not in any settings that I have been able to identify. Follow gets turned off immediately. Clicking off Usestick defaults to MQ2Nav. Unloading mq2nav disables any setting other than manual.

If you want to position them manually...they need to be in manual (mode 0). Maybe we're not understanding what you mean?

If you don't want them to nav to camp (when in something like assist), or chase (like chase assist), you can use vorpal as they don't move back to a camp

But it sounds like you want manual mode and an assist key - if you check my hotkeys in my sticky you'll see that.

Please see >>> Getting Started with CWTN plugins! (Movement, UI Window, Clickies, Pulling, ETC) Check Here First! <<< :)

100%

Is there a way to make them assist even when someone is using ranged? (Like when the MA is a ranger)
no - we'll assist with pet classes not being close if their pet is - but not otherwise, no

ChatWithThisName updated MQ2CWTNCommons with a new update entry:

8/31/2025

- Added additional auto inventory checks when the plugins load
- - Thanks to Setra for this one
- - unfortunately, eq is *slow* and mq is zoomzoom fast
- - autoinventorying something isn't *instant* for it to no longer be on your cursor
- - this should correct the plugin erroneously adding a cursor item to clickies when trying to autopopulate things like mount, cloak, familiar, etc.

Greetings everyone,

Been away from the game for a long while and recently came back and have purchased several of the class plugins. I have a potential issue that I have searched for but didn't see any relevant responses for what my problem is.

When I am in Hunter Tank mode (this has been on my MQ2Bard, but could happen I guess on all the plugins) I have seen my bard going out and taking care of business (farming critters for tradeskill drops). I am in a zone that has little threat to the bard being overwhelmed or killed outright (70ish zone and 100th level bard). I have seen twice today the bard pull a critter at the max radius set for mode and the critter turn to run before death go beyond the radius. This is a flat zone so I don't think zradius is an issue with this. Once the bard dispatches the critter, the bard now doesn't do anything. If I manually move the bard across the radius line it will start back up hunting.

Is there a setting in the plugins to force the character to move back into the radius assigned for the Hunter Tank mode and then continue hunting if the character accidentally crosses the radius line? I thought maybe making a change using /BRD CampOverlayBuffer, but the responses to other posts doesn't make it seem that this setting would "fix" my issue.

Thank for any perspective or guidance in regards to my post.

It sounds like you'll need to increase your huntertank radius.

Campoverlapbuffer doesn't have anything to do with it.

I would still check your zradius setting if you're saying it is skipping mobs and somehow only grabs this far away - but definitely increase your huntertank radius if mobs are running you out or range.

Probably worth byosing a snare song, or using a stun weapon

Sic,

Thanks for the quick reply. It isn't skipping critters, just going through the available on the arc that I have set, and when it had gotten to the edge of the arc, pulled a mob that walked back over the edge of the radius limit. I do like your answer about increasing the radius range. I have a specific arc that I need the bard to work in, otherwise we start running into doors that can't be opened and the bard will just keep trying to run through the door to get after the next critters.

Follow up question, I haven't research, but since you brought it up as a possible solution... BYOS, how many song gems should I load up that the plugin will use? Is it gem 1-3, 1-6? All gems? I am assuming then the plugin will just fire off each spell/song in the order of gems allowed.

BYOS will only use songs that the plugin says it will use.
When you first start the plugin the plugin output window vomits out all those things.
The plugin then will use them in the order that the plugin is programmed to use them. It's not top to bottom or anything.

Question: BurnAllName and BurnAlways

If Burn Always is activated does this also mean that the clicky section on BURN also activate even on Non Named?

yes. if you're "burning always" then yes you're using your "burn items" always

ChatWithThisName updated MQ2CWTNCommons with a new update entry:

09/10/2025b

- fixed a bad bracket making this previous update not to work
- - checking reciprocal from progressive spells now checks that you have the expansion, not just that it is available
- - - this is necessary for the other comparative checks for ecliptic/composite/etc

I have been having a weird issue that only occurs in raids or potentially while playing a larger number of characters together. I have been running 15 toons, all in the same raid. All of them have "raid mode" enabled.

It seems like 3 or 4 characters will always not "activate", meaning they don't assist or do anything CWTN related. It happened to characters both in my driving toons group and outside. I tested by using Chase mode. 10 of the 14 toons walked towards the driving toon. The other 4 did not. To fix it, I had to click on the CWTN display, then click the "Settings" tab. Just clicking the Settings tab fixed it, with no other changes. It appears like once I click the settings tab, they work fine going forward for that zone / raid.

Does anyone know what may be causing this to happen or what I can do to fix it?

Confirm you have your frame limiter properly configured.

this is almost certainly a performance issue.

as algar mentioned make sure you have your framelimiter working and you don't have your background toons starved.

a small handful of people have reported something similar, it seems to be wholly irrespective of cwtn plugins, and more about "toons in background not responding / doing what their supposed to", but i've never been able to replicate it (tho i often do have a toon who doesn't do something when given a command - like use GC or travelto somewhere etc, i always chock that up to dannet)

The situations where this happened to me, I am currently unable to recreate as my toons are on a vacation.

With that, my thoughts when I think about my experience and everything I am reading:

When I had a background toon not responding (after making sure of all the settings for ui, framelimiter, external programs, logs, etc) and I click to that toon (bring it to the foreground), it doesn't just start processing commands like the rest of the raid. My thought is, since it is in the foreground it should have all the processing it needs to do commands.

It wasn't until clicking on another tab in the imGUI ui that it started to respond and follow. I even remember once pressing movement keys to see if the toon would start responding before clicking the ui tab.

This only happened to me in the Kanghammer raid zone with caster toons. My melee group in the same zone didn't have this issue.

Just putting this out there for collective knowledge in case something is eventually found, if anything (whether plugin, imgui, windows, etc).
you can read here and above for a previous discussion

I appreciate you guys responding so quickly. I did not have the framlimiter stuff setup, so hopefully that will resolve the issue. I will test popping into another raid later to see. Not a huge issue either way, now that I know I can test test with chase really quick before I engage any raids. Thanks all!

I think you misread shaf0o6 regarding Frame Limitier. The Frame Limiter can starve resources of background toons meaning they won't do things at the time you want them to.

I run about 40 toons and occassionally run into issues where 1 or 3 toons just go on strike (what it feels like). They no longer respond to running scripts, instruction sent over by dannet, etc. I've yet figure it out but you are not the only one experiencing this. The only remedy I've found is to surface (alt tab) that toon and then they take off doing the things they should have been doing.

Stay calm and raid on!

Yeah, that makes sense. I have only tried a few different zones so far, but it seems like the issue may have been resolved by the framelimiter. I am having everyone chase / assist me right away when zoning into raids, etc.

This is a dumb question, but my searches have been fruitless. I am trying to get all other chars except my tank to turn melee off to go slow on damage for a High Priest Mission. I tried /melee off - invalid command. I tried /cwtna /melee off - nothing. What am I missing?

Only some classes can you turn melee off

You'd need to manage toons by other means, backing them off, pausing, adjusting assistant or camp etc.

If you're a melee toon and actively being told to fight something, we're not going to let you not melee then.

Just for clarity "/melee" is not something that would do anything on anyone as that is an mq2melee command and we I load mq2 melee due to conflicts
"/Cwtn /melee" also isn't.

Any class than can have it turned off would do it with "usemelee" like "/cwtn usemelee off"

I tried to add a Distillate of Clarity VIII to my downtime clicky and no one is using it. I held the stack of potions on my cursor and clicked on the Add button in the Addclicky Downtime section and the potion is displayed in that area, but none of my characters drink it. Do they go in a different location?

Do you have a clarity buff on?

No, I do not have a clarity buff on. I clicked a potion to make sure it would actually cast on me and it does. Puts a buff called Elixer of Clarity VIII. I click the buff off and it does not replace it.

Logging out and back in did not help, but when I zoned it started working....very odd. I would have expected it to be the other way around. Regardless, it is now working.

Were you in a non combat zone like PoK? The function is likely paused in non combat zones
