I have read several of these 66 pages of Q&A, but still have a question; Does this work with a cleric as low as 105, and 2; I keep seeing the tank must be on the same PC. Can I use this to heal and buff group members playing around the world in my group?
1 can be on lvl 1 cleric
2. Buff checks are same PC only but can request buffs using mq2buffme
currently we only do group ma. (and raidma would require local toon regardless)
does somehow your raid MAs not have clerics? folks can also request it with mq2buffme /tell cleric buffme Shining Rampart IX
I dont currently have plans on changing that, but i'll have a think (i dont suspect this will be a change, since we'd still require local toon)
buffme is gonna be your best bet

Behavioral question.
When raiding with the normies my cleric will start the zerg rush. I just love it. And it's like I can just watch who's a normie and who isn't by how quick that corpse pops after cast. This stuff is so cool - the game is fun again and it's great.
But - about 50% of time - the corpse is a normie box, and the cleric will recast rez because the corpse is still there. My solution has been checking and manually interrupting as needed.
For clarity here - the choice management is very, very good as is. Generally the chain rezzing is coming along when I'm OOM anyway, and I'm not so much missing out on a heal I should of been casting, but the next rez on the next corpse. From my experience I am missing a heal here and there - but its not making him squirrel off into a rez spam when he should be healing. If he has mana, he will occasionally double cast and then get back to work, and usually there just wasn't a heal demand when the second cast started.
My question is: What can I do to help prevent getting stuck in these recast? Is there way I can prevent recasting on the same target? Did I miss a solution?
As a note > Lvl 65, pop era. This may just be a side effect of working as intended. Is a backend "don't recast rez on the same target twice [while in combat]" possible?

as of now - there isn't.
expectation is that folks are accepting rezzes - you can turn off rezzing if you're gonna be in mixed company and that is a problem

I tend to turn off rezzing on the plugin if they dont want it. Even when I have the rez on a hotkey, people not taking their rezzes screws me up, as I then have to either move so I am closer to another corpse, or just ignore them completely.
Hello, noticed FPS drop when plugin is running just on the cleric's client. I tried messing with the in game video settings but it just seems to be related to this plugin (the fps drops happen during casting and shortly after). I cannot really pin it down to more than that other than pausing mq2cleric fixes the fps drops. I can't find anything else related to this issue here or on any of the other cwtn plugins I use so I'm just posting here. Thanks

Make sure you're not using the new UI engine, that your in-game UI isn't out of date, and you have framelimiter setup.
There's not much we do while casting, and this is the first time I've heard of this. You can check mq benchmark to see if mq2cleric is for some reason spiking for you.
Do you happen to have a really old spinner disk hard drive or a near full hard drive for your mq?
I have done all the above and just double checked. I'm not sure how to check mq benchmark and can't find any hits for it while searching the site. The cleric's settings are synced and confirmed with several other cwtn plugins going and all of the other clients on the same machine are running fine with the same settings with respect to in game options as well as the frame limiter settings.
I thought it might have been that I was in combat. So I tested it with my group idling in a neutral, unpopulated zone and fps drops as soon as I unpause the cleric's plugin. I am not sure how to see what is kicking in as soon as the plugin is unpaused. According to the frame limiter settings: render fps and simulation fps drops from 96 to 60 fps going from paused to unpaused. Due to how choppy and how noticeable it is, I suspect it is actually lower than 60 fps since that is what settings i play my games on and that is fluid. this appears to more like 20-30 fps or lower based on my experience.
... I do have something interesting to report that I found as I was toggling various settings with the plugin. While watching the frame limiter go off and toggling various settings while unpaused I found I can get it from 50fps to 70fps by turning off usextargethealing. so that is playing a factor into the fps drops. Mind you, I also run mq2shaman and there is no noticeable difference with my shaman using the xtargethealing setting. So that's just a start of what I could find.
yeah not real sure - i did remove a delay in both shaman and january after a bunch of testing (on 3 different computers), maybe i'll just put that back
now this is all idle (cause i also haven't seen any issues while doing stuff) on my laptop
benchmarks look where they should be - i dont see a discernable difference with xtarget healing on/off - and that usage is plugin agnostic - it is the same across shaman and cleric, for example (other than rezzing)
that gap down the bottom near that 112-116 is me pausing mq2cleric to show paused unpaused
the only thing i can guess is you have some players or corpses or you have a funky xtarget window

This is a question and it shows my inexperience with playing a Cleric!

What other ability/spell can cause this and is there any way to turn it off? There are times when I don't want any pets running. I can use "/pet swleave" for these pets, so it isn't a huge issue, but it bugs me that I can't see what casts them.

edit: i checked in case mq was off, clerics are casting double auras as expected - detection of auras appears working as expected

Nope, nothing changed
there are only a few things that this could be:
- either you are not looking in the folder you are running mq from
- you have antivirus scanning your mq/rg directories and possibly holding something hostage with a falsepositive
your downloads look pretty weird - you can see for 3807 you only downloaded cleric, wizard, and bard
also please make sure you're using redfetch
what'd it end up being bro?
yw and all good :p there is a current issue with redfetch and downloading certain resources, but i didn't think this was the case with your issue

ya what happened was that some of the plugins didn't get downloaded when i used redfetch in the morning. after your post i updated with redfetch again and then i saw all the plugins show up in the folder. my download history looked weird cause i manually downloaded couple addons thinking it would work that way, but i ended up putting them in my mqnext emu directory by mistake... lol

the only way for this to happen is the hand buff is for a pet
the only way for this to happen is if you are byos and you are memorizing it because for cleric we have some "under the hood magic" if you are byos.
but otherwise since Hand of Temerity is higher level, that is the spell we use at that time for "Group Aegolism"
let me take a look and have a think - currently both Ward and Shining we specifically check to not have xtargets so we don't get caught buffing when we need to heal
Thanks Sic. I get why you wouldn't want all buffs in combat with possible healing conflicts. I probably wouldn't want that either. In group game it doesn't really matter all that much as there are down times between targets often enough that you get those shorter duration ones eventually after a few mobs. Raids is where it really matters to me. I've just been doing it manually and it's not that much of a bother but having it on auto would be sweet, or at least the option to.
Does someone have temerity blocked by chance? (But not tenacity)

lvl 76-80 testing.
lvl 80 Cleric is not:
Chain casting Promised renewal in combat, as far as I can tell he's not casting it at all, instead wasting mana on fast heals.
I think I need to adjust some of the % for heals but some of them don't seem to be working.
I'll give more feedback next time I play him.
As far as i can tell I have all the settings set for him to do/not do these things, if not please advise.

Adjust your promised heal value. the default is 98
promised healing requires being on cwtnbuffs (so local toon, on same pc) because we're looking for the buff
there are no plans on adjusting cleric here.

Yea 98-99% makes sense for promised and is what I had it set at when I was using kissassist and it worked extremely well.
But here he is just not casting it, maybe 1% of the time if that.
I definately need to adjust some of the other healing %'s down a bit as he's fast healing when tank is like 97%ish
All toons have cwtnbuffs plugin loaded (separate PC's) I only sometimes have 2 toons on 1 PC.
I just don't like boxing on 1 PC, never have never really will /shrug.
Are there special things I need to set to make these cwtns work well with toons on separate PC's?
Overall the testing went pretty well, very impressive work!
My posts are just minor tweeks, diferences I noticed from kissassist to using cwtn.
