My cleric stopped buffing herself with auras. She is 100 in CoTF expac (on Rizlona). She does all other buffs. Did I turn something off? I don't see any property relating to auras.

Edit: Oh, I just zoned, and she then cast her auras. What's up with that?

Eq is notoriously bad with their aura system, eq prolly was telling mq that you still had it
 
With Use XTargetBuffing checked and a beastlord added to the extended target window, the cleric is chain casting Unity of Helmsbane on the beartlord's pet. I'm unsure if it's not sticking or something else is going on but it continues until the cleric is OOM.

you will want to determine what is causing conflict (red eq error message) and then block the appropriate spell on the pet

Yes, this does seem to be the case. I did determine that whether you zone or not, if you are in a zone with no buff timer countdown (like PoK or the guild hall) it won't cast no matter what. It seems you have to be in a normal zone. Even then, though, it is buggy. I zoned into the Arena with no auras up, and as soon as I loaded, it began casting both auras. However, it won't cast any auras unless both are down. If I remove 1 it won't cast anything, even if I zone. But when in non-timer countdown zones, it won't buff the auras at all. Just thought I would pass on additional info.

We don't ever cast it in a safe zone tho
 
Something I would like to use is the cleric Damage shield. its cast on the Mob and they get damage every time they hit somebody. I didn't see that option anywhere but I am pretty new with CWTN plugins.

believe it or not, we definitely know what a damage shield is. :p

useretort to use the retort line is a really simple and handy "modern" version of that, i'd suggest using that if you can otherwise you can byos and memorize

as of the july 2021 patch, you can memorize a damage shield and we'll use it (one of the few things in any of the plugins that doesn't require the plugin to output it uses it for purposes of byos
 
None of my plugins mq2cleric, shm, mage are loading and I'm getting an error when I login. None of them have shown up in the launcher at all for weeks. I thought maybe there just weren't any updates but now after the patch I guess it's on my end. How do I get the plugins to show back up in the launcher? Refresh isn't working.

Since the 5-19-24 update.....which was only a few hours ago. My cleric crashes. I get the following attached popup-

Will look around and see if I have the previous edition to find out if I did something to make it crash.

the snip isn't as helpful as doing what the dialog says and copy pasting the dialog with control+c

this looks like a result of some MQ change, so unsure yet.

no, and please don't attach dump files.

the dialog you screen snipped has instructions on the image that says to control+C to copy the contents, which means you can then paste the text that the error gives you.

Derp.......I was tying to use copy / paste with my mouse. For some reason that wasn't working.

Is there a Lua or macro that will allow the cleric to keep DI up on my tank who is out of group? Thanks.

one solution is just ask for it with mq2buffme - you could make an LEM on your out of group tank to request it when it doesn't have it

mq2cleric also does xtargetbuffing, so you could use that (same computer tho) (just checked and we're not checking xtarget for DI with xtarget buffing --- I could add that

Puratus vs. Antidote…

I thought the Puratus spell seemed like a really cool upgrade to Antidote when I first got it. Unfortunately, this spell sucks for many reasons. For context, Puratus casts Antidote (a poison cure) and then blocks the next poison spell that would land on your target. Here’s why Puratus actually sucks:

1. Double the cast time of Antidote
2. Half the range of Antidote (this is particularly important during the Wailing Sisters event in Demiplane of Blood which is still done regularly during the era when Puratus is introduced).
3. 15 second recast time instead of 1.5 second recast time (important when you need to cure multiple targets).
4. The poison blocker buff goes to the buff window instead of the song window. This is a big deal in eras where buff slots come at a high premium.

Unfortunately, MQ2Cleric will not cast Antidote if you have the Puratus spell scribed. In fact, it will go as far as to unmem Antidote to mem Puratus instead to cast a single target poison cure if you have Antidote memmed with BYOS custom enabled.

It would be great if MQ2Cleric would at least use the currently memmed poison cure when BYOS Custom is enabled. If that isn’t reasonable, then I would recommend Antidote being used preferentially over Puratus for the reasons listed above.

I'm slowly getting use to MQ2Cleric and some of the other class plugins, in favor of using my own mult-class macro. I like that your Cleric does a better job of curing than my macro and that it keeps group members buffed.

1 - we check the cwtnbuffs file to see what buffs they have, eventually this will be moved over to the actor system, and then potentially utilize a buff begging situation rather than how it is. but for now, this is how it functions (i go over this in the old mq2cleric vid)
2 - we always prefer to use the group version unless it is a pet or if the single version is a higher level
2b - you can utilize mq2buffme to "request" a buff --- /tell clericname buffme all --- running mq2cleric it would just buff you with all the goodies
3 - you can byos and handle your own gems/buffing as long as it matches what the plugin uses, but no, you can't reorganize things --- check out the byos video in the sticky

Is there a way create a button that drops invis on all toons? Or, can we add an option in the plugin that drops invis if the Main Tank is in camp radius engaged with mob to start casting or drop invis? Been trying to find a way around my biggest annoyance with manually clicking off invis to start everyone each time.

My hotkey guide


We only break invis if you have a camp set, or are assisting with melee (chase/vorpal)
 
I have the UseHand option checked on my cleric. He is currently buffing Hand of Temerity Rk. II as expected. However, he immediately follows it up by casting single target Temerity Rk. II on all pets in the group. This is a huge waste of time and mana.

We only cast single target buffs on pets as pet owners have to have an AA to get group buffs. We cast this after group buffs, so if eq says it stacks and they need it, wed cast the single buff.

You can have folks add to pet blocked buff anything you don't want them to have
 
Is there a Lua that will monitor and rebuff a toon in group as well as out of group with a particular buff. Example, I want my cleric to keep DI up on my main driver toon whether he is in group or out of group. All of my toons are also running CWTN Plugins. Thanks.

all cwtn plugins do xtarget buffing - you can turn that on and it'll do buffing. I don't have it doing DI, but i'll add it for if/when you're using DIALL it'll check xtargetbuffing too

alternatively if you just wanted something super simple or cross pc you could use this modified version of a script i made

I am not sure if something changed on my end. But I started a new Clr (damn bans) and now on raids the clr is only rezzing group members or people on xtar. Before it would rez any one dead in the raid within a range of 100.

What might I be doing wrong here?

Sounds like you're not in raidmode.
 
I was never in raid mode before on my last clr, but I will try that out and see if it makes a difference.
we only search for raid if we're in raidmode

i only went back to nov of 2020 but even that far back we did that
 
Question: Is there any reason why my BP doesnt show up under the "SPECIAL" settings? all my other toons shows thier breastplate but my cleric doesnt. Thanks
