gotcha yeah, as mentioned above we don't use LoS or camp radius for healingNo, but I'm pretty sure we are guildes, and we talk in discord lol so we have been talking about these and certain ways we can min max them to benefit how we need
Thank you I was able to figure out how to configure everything and was a user error with regards to the los and nothing more.gotcha yeah, as mentioned above we don't use LoS or camp radius for healing
this doesn't happen on every group / invidual spell - this happens on individual spells that mq reports stacks with their group version. How do i make my clerics stop buffing Virtue on pets when the pets already have Hand of Virtue? (this will also happen on any group / individual spell with CWTN plugins btw).
this doesn't happen on every group / invidual spell - this happens on individual spells that mq reports stacks with their group version.
we only cast single target buffs on pets because the owner has to have an AA to unlock their pet receiving buffs.
In this case, since we're checking for your pet needing the virtue spell, and checking stacking and it says "they don't have this buff we want to cast and it stacks with what they have, cast it on them"
if you don't want a buff being cast on your pet you can add it to your pet blocked buffs.
MQ2Cleric FAQ
Q. I don't want the plugin to cast xyz buff on a toon.
A. Any buff you don't want cast upon someone, you would just have that character add it to their blocked buffs.
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)
Also, obligatory "You should consider moving over to MacroQuest "Next" as MQ has been receiving hundreds of updates and improvements.
Buff stacking checks in eq/mq is very complicated and mq tries to use the buff stacking checks that eq uses, but as it was explained to me, isn't quite perfect/exact. so especially with older spells, some things will report missing and stacks.
in our case here we're only checking the pet for the single target version (due to the aforementioned pet owner AA requirement), and since the buff stacking is reporting that it is missing the buff, and it stacks we cast it on them.
We do also check for blocked buffs on owners and pets, so that is another helpful way to ensure you're not going to get a spell cast upon you that you don't want.
are you sure you have all your heal values adjusted appropriately under that value?Anyone have an idea how i can stop the cleric from chain healing himself oom in a spot where hp is locked at 70? ive tried setting all the heal limits below 70 but have not had any luck
yeah makes sense that it would be those group heals, since they aren't adjustable. you will have to byos and unmemorize them in the meantime.syllable of soothing and word of of soothing. I have cures turned off at the moment. heal values are set to 65 and lower
- Will now output your target if you're using a rez stick.
for anything with a "buff" we require them to be local and on mq2cwtn buffs - this includes heal over times and with respect for "keep hot up" this only applies to group MAI'm trying to have one of my clerics cast a HoT on the MA of raid, but i can't seem to get it working. for testing, this is what i have, and he will never cast the HoT "Holy Elixir" on the Raids MA. What am I doing wrong?

Well you said raid, so i was clarifying since i didn't have that important piece of information. The main tank is local, on same PC, runs CWTN War, gets buffs from other cwtn clerics / toons, just not this HoT.
the Keep hot Up runs my cleric oom, chain casts group HoT, thats just a TLP thing i'm sure. But, tagging that also does not cast a HoT on the main tank

yup i know what xpac, i could assume you were max lvl with correct spells, but didn't want to assume that is why i asked for the specific spell so i could see if i can replicate.Currently on Rizlona, we have GoD expansion. I believe the only spell lines we have are HealsHeals, Quickheals, and DurationHeals.
I want the following to happen:
When MA falls below 95%, cast a HoT on MA. (Holy Elixir)
When MA falls below 75%, cast HealsHealsMA (Supernal Light as I do not have the GoD healsheals yet)
MA is set as all my toher toons are assisting as expected. I run CWTN plugins for monk, rogue, war, cleric, enchanter, magician, shaman, and beastlord. All are assisting as expected with RaidMode tagged
well just to be clearI just tested this on Rizlona, set my keephotup to on, set the threshold to 95, RA is set, no group roles set. Cleric is in the same group as RA, and is casting Holy Elixir at 95.
no that doesn't mean anything.Setting mode from Manual to Assist gives same results if that matters
no that doesn't mean anything.
thanks for the other info i'll take a look, no reason to think that'd be an issue however
to summarize - if in same group casts fine, if not in same group doesn't. got it. will take a look
thanks burd, i fixed it@mb4xy3 might want to edit your picture to remove your toons name
Yup! That's basically it!
Thanks, i must have missed that!@mb4xy3 might want to edit your picture to remove your toons name
Well then, that is because you are telling it to not use duration heal on them.
All XTarget healing is the "not ma" since an xtarget member can not be your group assigned MA unless they are in your group, in which case they would be treated in the group member section as MA, and in the xtarget check as not MA.
I may not have been clear here - this is your *group* MA

it is possible we explore checking if an xtarget is assigned as a raidMA to use MA values in the future - but we have no plans/timeline on changing that at this time.
so you will either
a: want to consider adjusting your DurationHealNotMA to something other than 0
b: want to consider having a cleric that is with those particular toons be on "hot duty"
xtarget healing uses the non-ma heal values for everyone on xtarget who is to be the recipient of the healing when the xtarget healing is checked.I must be confused on the MA and raid MA.
For every heal that is tagged MA and NotMA, how does that work with a raid setting and xtartget healing?
What I have been doing is setting all 6 clerics xtar 2 to my Main Tank / MA of the raid, setting all clerics to RaidMode, and RaidAssist is the MA i'm referring to. All other CWTN plugins follow this MA setting as they assist him as expected. I then set xtar 3 to my off tank on all clerics, and xtarget healing is on. I am operating under the impression that this toon would be getting the NotMA tag heals, where xtar2 would be getting the MA heals tag. Is that not the case?
And, I have tanks in group 1, i do not want cleric in group 1 to do HoT's, i want cleric in group 2 to do HoT's, but only on my main tank, and no one else. No one in group, no on else on xtar, just the MA of the raid. It would not be the end of the world for me if cleric in group 2 casted HoT on Both tanks that are on xtar, but I do not want him casting HoT on any group members.

there is no way to do that currently without just blocking the HoT on each of your non tank group members.you said:It would not be the end of the world for me if cleric in group 2 casted HoT on Both tanks that are on xtar, but I do not want him casting HoT on any group members.

I mean i just explained this. was there somewhere in the following I didn't explain well or did you not read it or something?
xtar healing just heals people on your xtar window. The confusion is the value MA referring to two different things, Group MA and Raid MA. Raid MA, as i understand now, is not a setting on anything in any heals, but only for assisting on a mob. MA is only the MA of your group, and not the MA of a raid. so, for my situation, I need to set the values of NotMA for all heals, have xtar healing on , for my clerics to react like I am expecting, that sound correct? That would make sense as i was just dying a lot and couldn't figure out why. i set the MA heal threshold high, and non MA threshold low, when in fact, i need to set the NonMA threshold high, and the MA just leave the same.
side question - will clerics heal on xtar if the xtar members are not in your raid? Like if i have two groups, not in a raid at all, and i have 1 person from group 1 on xtar on a cleric in group 2, will group 2 cleric heal group 1 xtar person or have to be in raid? I currently turn off CWTN when i do my leveling session because i believe they will not heal xtar unless xtar is in your raid / group, so please verify.

I'd be more than happy to be guinea pig for the testing. It makes a lot of sense to have separate heal values for your tanks vs non tanks, and MA of raid / not MA of raid.and again - what you're expecting makes good sense - it just currently doesn't work that way.
if/when i explore that out i'll msg you and see if you want to test it out
thanks. I don't need any of all that. just was asking for clarification from earlier. and was trying to give you some clarity since i kept having to say the same thing.I'd be more than happy to be guinea pig for the testing. It makes a lot of sense to have separate heal values for your tanks vs non tanks, and MA of raid / not MA of raid.
To achieve what I am wanting you could, just an idea, set the following:
xtar heal value (this can actually trump the need for any Raid MA settings, just put on xtar)
nonma heal value (works only for group members, xtar heal value would trump any nonma settings for out of group healing)
MA Group heal value (leave as is)
raid ma heal value (this probably isn't necessary if you can do the xtar heal values instead. But, this would be nice, especially if you can use the multiple Raid Assists option from the raid window).
In a real world situation, ideally, you can do the following (this version sounds easiest)
All clerics have tanks on xtar
All clerics have xtar heal values
All clerics set NonMA heal values for their own group
In a more complex situation, you could do the following (harder, maybe not worth the development. this is how I have it setup currently, or how I though it was setup, but now I know what I have setup doesn't work):
All clerics have tanks on xtar
2 tanks are flagged as Main Assist in Raid Window
All clerics set Raid MA heal values (which will go for all MA's on xtar that are in raid)
Clerics add each other to xtar and other vital classes (slowers, chanter, etc)
Clerics set Non Raid MA xtar heal values (aka, I want to cast quick, small heals on chanter, not slow, big heals like I do on tank, from outside of group)
That way, there is a circular heal reference. All clerics heal tanks with big heals, all clerics heal other clerics with small heals, then splash in some druid / shaman heals as needed (druid controlled by Kiss / mule / whatever, Shaman same way or also CWTN).
howdy gps, please post in the correct location - all the cwtn plugins have a dedicated discussion thread so you can post mq2cleric questions/problems/convo to the mq2cleric thread np.Cleric with CWTN plugin is reporting this error "Failing Valid Target check body type is 1" any help thanks in advance.
