Because reasons. It will get refactored as more things get developed.

I'll look into a promise toggle - what would you want in its place (not saying i agree or disagree or this is what i would replace it with or even that i will make the change, just asking what you're thinking)

This is why. You don't have to use the spell if you don't want to, you can set it to zero. There will be no toggle for this. It's part of the plugin.

That can only proc once per 18 second fulmination. It's 'meh' at best. The wording here isn't great. It leads one to believe that it procs 40k in healing every time the tank takes a hit above the threshold, but that's not the case.

off the top? it sounded like you had it all worked out lol

as it is now, until after we get done with more castery logic (which we're working on currently due to shm and enchanter etc) clr still only does things like DS and nukes and such while in melee combat

re: promised chat's final say anyhow, and he says its stayin so its stayin

I did push the update for the saint's unity

tl;dr on the saints unity is i had to figure out a way to not have a giant ass switch every time i wanted to check something - I have a way of doing that now so can go and update that spell
 
scanned around looking for an answer to this but maybe I missed it:

At what point do the cleric (and zerk, for that matter) cast Aura? After a wipe, etc, I'm noticing they don't cast it =(

cleric casts aura when in downtime and not using byos

we also don't cast auras in "safe zones" like lobby, pok, guild hall, neighborhood etc
 
OH, that makes total sense - duh; wouldn't need auras if the Magus isn't hostile! Thanks for the reply, Sic. Really appreciated!
 
What setting should I choose if I want to cast Heroic Bond instead of Heroism? All toons in group had no cleric buffs, instead of just doing HB it did single target heroism on each. I'm sure I just don't have the right boxes checked. Thanks!

ALONG with warrior and Zerker....toons are auto standing when I wanna sit them to med end or mana....pls tell this fool what he is missing to stop that and get them to med

they will auto return and sit down if you are in a camp mode (like mode 1) when there are no mobs on xtarget and you are not in combat they only force themselves to stand up when they go to do something like cast a spell or fight a mob
 
If they are in chase they also mimic the standstate of the MA. So if the MA is sitting, they too sit. If the MA is standing, they too stand.
 
I can't seem to get my cleric to buff Auras unless I also run an INI with them in the buff section. I've tried unloading, reloading, and similar. Any suggestions are welcome.

It won't cast aura in "safe zones" like pok/potranquility etc.

it only will do buffs (which includes auras) if you are in non-byos mode (byos means you want to use your own spell line, and handle your own buffs). so if you are in byos mode it won't memorize and then cast your aura.

you also need mq2cwtnbuffs loaded to do buffing

We only do buffs if we're not invis, unless we have a camp set also

I would also double-check /cleric missing that you aren't missing spells - we have 2 aura "groups' HPAura (Aura of Divinity and Circle of Divinity) and MeleeAura (Aura of the reverente, pious, and zealot)

if you're trying to roll with another automation thing - like a macro with an ini - then you are likely in byos mode, otherwise the plugin would fight you trying to memorize spells with something else trying to automate things as well. I do not recommend doing this as the plugin can and will handle auras and you will end up with conflicting behavior

yeah we don't have the plugins doing auras in the safe zones - otherwise when you're just trying to check your parcel guy, or run to the bank, or check your tribute guy - you're poopin out auras all over the place
 
At level 52 on TLP m2cleric casts single target Heroism instead of the group spell heroic bond.
 
I'm having an issue with my mq2cleric healing my mq2sk the instant his health drops below 100%. This is an issue because, of course, I have mq2eskay as well, and he lifetaps right away. The result is that I literally go through a full bar of mana on my cleric in three dark blue solo pulls, and most of the heals look something like: "You healed so-and-so for 12(1206) hitpoints of damage." or something to that effect. Is there an adjustment I can make somewhere to make this guy more mana efficient? I would love to be able to switch it so that he waits until the health has at least dropped below 85% or so before casting a healing spell, since his heals do roughly 12% replenishment. I have nuke, melee, yaulp, and vie turned off. I don't know if any of that makes a difference.

The last 2 days my cleric gets stuck with his spellbook open. Of course he refuses to heal when this happens. 115, no missing spells. Trying to figure out what he is trying to mem, but all spell gems will be full and book is just stuck open. Any other reports of this happening?

Check your ew settings in your alt-O arent set too low. You likely have minimum, but should have 60+ for fg and bg

Honestly, not sure what "ew" settings are or "fg"and"bg".
I did figure out that the spellbook was getting stuck when trying to mem vie, so clicking "usevie" to OFF, seems to have done the trick. Thanks for the response!

Eq, everquest

Fg is foreground
Bg is backgrouns
 
Running MQ2Cleric. She won't cast her auras. She is in GD. She has RK III in both Reverent and Divinity. She is NOT in bring your own spells. She is running MQ2CWTNBuffs. I have no clue why she won't cast them.

Thoughts? I initially thought the SK chain pulling was the issue so I put him on Mode 7 and he sat in camp for 3 min without her casting them. If I click off any spells, MQ2cleric will remem them so I know at least that much is working as intended.

last time someone said this they didn't realize your auras go in your aura window (in addition the the buffs they give) - can you double check your auras are not actually active on your aura window?

I don't have rank 3s, but shouldn't make any difference (at least since we fixed that issue a while back)

you can see here me cancelling the aura and it immediately rememorizing and recasting

CWTN and SIC, ty for helping get her off 'strike' :)

After some troubleshooting, apparently my cleric was tired after a long day of being online and just needed to relog! When she logged out/in that fixed her stubborn behaviors. So nice tip for those who may run into odd glitches like this.

lol that is certainly hard to diagnose!

I dunno if that's an mq2 thing or a pure eq thing - but i had a toon recently that had zero buffs on them (i had manually removed all of them) but I could get mq2 to return that I still had a buff on me (with mq2 functions, not cwtn functions - well both because the information is from the GetCharInfo2->shortbuffs etc) - zoning didn't fix it, but dying did - so wonder if that's what happened with you and a relog shook it loose

and I'm really glad it wasn't a rank 3 thing lol

Having some issues with MQ2Cleric. I'm not sure why but my cleric is not curing anything. I've checked the settings option and "UseCures" is enabled. It doesn't matter if it's my MA or another person in group but cures don't seem to be functioning. Any thoughts on what could be causing this?

I"ll also say I've already tried disabling and re-enabling that option and it makes no difference.

What lvl are you?

Is everyone local with mq2cwtnbuffs loaded? if not they need to be, that is how we determine what/where/when how to buff/cure/etc

Are you BYOS? If you have usecures on you will auto memorize your cureall ability in your slot 7

and if you have cures on it will check radiant cure, ward of purity, purified spirits (self only), and your Cure All - these are done early - we use these for restless ice. Then we also have them in our heal section with all our single target cures checking against cure types etc.

I"m level 115. Max AA. I just went through all my toons and mq2cwtnbuffs is loaded. I am not using BYOS.

and you're sure its not casting a cure? it has a whole bunch of tricks up its sleeves for curing.

I just chain got a 50 disease counter back to back to back to demonstrate it curing

I will check again, but I know yesterday it wasn't working. Would the fact that previously I had someone grouping with me that doesn't use MQ2? Would that mess it up? Just asking because of the local question earlier. I'm gonna run the Velks mission in a second and it's just my toons in group and I"ll see how it goes.
