I have been doing EoK progression lately, and several of the quests give you 'pets'
This seems to throw both my SK and Cleric into neverending loops of trying to mem / load / cast spells on them


SK keeps trying to buff Gift of Drendar - turning off pet resolves SK
Cleric keeps on cycling through spells Word of Replenishment / Unified Righteousness
The cleric plugin then usually crashes :( as does the toon

At least this is what i think is doing it, as they work without issue the rest of the time and with normal caster summoned pets

crashdes? do you have a .dmp? I haven't been able to crash any of these in a while.

so you're saying the quest gives you a "pet", which turns up as a pet in your pet window, and then the plugin tries to do pet things to it, but because its not a real pet it doesn't do it successfully?

I downloaded your logs and then removed the dmp since dmps can have personal information in them - usually best to pm them direct
 
nah, its the ones where pets follow you around.

I first had it occur with the Chardok - Lost Chok

Then it occurred in Frontier Mountains - I think it was the Informal Diplomacy task

How best to send logs?

well, like i said, i downloaded them, but its best to PM them - so i have them now - no need to do anything with it.

and we'll look into this issue - but will have to try and recreate an issue where we have a pet that isn't our pet which is why i needed the quest name

will have to see if i can replicate the crash.

your dmps appear to indicate mq2 went full explosion and told the plugin a bunch of stuff was bad - I'm actually not even sure how that can happen heh based on the stuff that went bad and the stuff that is still accurate
 
@Sic how does this compare to your aggressive cleric KA? I’ve been using that for a long time.

I'm biased because i did a bunch of work on mq2cleric.

you can do all content with my kiss ini, but you can definitely do it with mq2cleric as well and mq2cleric has several other things it does automagically which is amazing. You should watch the mq2cleric video to see some of the features/functions.

as always you can always give it a try on the test server without purchasing a license

So my 113 cleric has stopped casting HP Buffs ie. He wont mem and cast unified Hand of Assurance or single cast Righteousness. is there a setting or something I am missing?

sounds like you are either in byos mode or you don't have cwtnbuffs loaded

clicking off my hp buff on my tank
immediately does this (in downtime)

Q. Why does my cleric not buff the group?
A. You will need to run /plugin mq2cwtnbuffs load on all of your characters that you would like mq2cleric to buff. You also need to NOT be in /clr byos on mode. As "Bring Your Own Spells" assumes you want to handle your spells and your buffs.
 
what am i misssing? I need the cleric to cast a HoT spell at the beginning of each fight. I set durationhealma at 98 and she doesn't cast any hot nor has one memorized. thanks in advance! i tried byos and adding a hot spell but it still isn't being cast.

well if you don't have it memorized its not going to cast it.

sounds like you perhaps want to use byos and load up your own spellset that way (using byos means you will be handling your own buffs since we won't un-memorize something you have when you are byos) (tho if you are low lvl we already memorize it in non byos mode)

its still only going to cast the HoT if your ma is at/under 98 health (so not just randomly at the start of a fight) and its only going to cast on them if they are local with mq2cwtnbuffs loaded on them, so we can see if they have the buff or not or have it blocked, and ensure it stacks with your buffs etc

What lvl is your character? I'm assuming you're low lvl

If you don't have a second remedy (which goes in gem2), and you don't have intervention or contravention, we put your single target HoT in your gem 2 slot

i'm lvl 115. i tried byos and adding sincere elixer. still isn't being cast.

well group heals are all handled by group logic, and not something that is affected by changing those durationheal values

are we talking about single or group hot now. because you said sincere, which is working as intended (as are group hots). HoTs are checked after just about all our other heals since our quick stuff and emergency stuff takes much higher precedence than a hot, especially in current live levels.

i'm still trying sincere for mt. i have byos and have it memmed. set to 98. not casting. not sure what's going on.

well you brought up transc lol

the 98 is above your other heal values for your ma? and your ma is local with mq2cwtnbuffs loaded?
because I can't replicate

as i said before -to use the hots the ma would need to be local and on cwtnbuffs
hots have lower healing priority, so if another healing threshold is met for a one of the other, preferred heals first - it will do those
 
here's me testing it out now

chase assist, then i ran my dudes to a mob, i killed the dude before needing a second cast - but i casted sincere elixir at the health threshold i had designated

the second cast was a second mob, and then that mob i also casted a remedy.

For this testing i turned my quick heal / interventions to 90, and kept my durationhealma high

thankyou so much for the help. I had to adjust my other heal settings and drop them down a bit. seems to be working well right now!
 
Is there any chance of getting a toggle for the Promised line of heals? I'd really like to turn it off completely and reclaim the spell gem for something, anything else. Right now I set the heal point values to 0. Would be nice to have the spell gem back without doing byos. The entire spell line has been largely panned by the cleric community, especially on the raid scene.

Also, why does it mem armor of sincerity when the saints unity AA exists?
