Sooooo hey Sic whats up with this bad boy ducking heals?
is that even a sentence/question?

if you are asking why does it duck heals - it doesn't.
if you are asking for it TO duck heals - it doesn't.

I'm not sure why you would, unless you're on a TLP where mana is a problem and you have multiple healers in your group. In that case, BYOS an easier spell line-up.

I am on the TLP where mana is my problem. I understand all this stuff is made for live but there is growing market for the TLP boxing.

maybe you can make a hotkey on your piloted screen with:
/bct manaproblemcaster //keypress x (or sub x for whatever your duck key is bound to)
and assuming u have autostandonduck enabled the cleric will recheck the hp.

and yes, you said it. it is designed for live, but it's very doable to use cleric for all situations you need it for in classic since it's really just tank and spank.
you can set up and change the variables for when heals get cast depending on the fight, stagger the numbers if you have more than one cleric, manually operate a/the healer(s) while everyone else does their thing, or just bring a gun to a knife fight (roughly 30 monks) and you won't have too many mana issues.

hope my guide to how to win @ tlp helps some folks out there!

Small thing, it seems the plugin is using both UseDivineRes and UseDivineRez in the ini. Seems the UI will show what UseDivineRes shows, if it is off it shows up red in UI if on it is green, I do not know if it actually affects the use of DR since I just noticed it while in the lobby. To switch it through command line it is UseDivineRez and UseDivineRes comes up as invalid command so am thinking that the UI checkbox isn't really turning it off.

Thanks - Just a bad leftover ini entry and was loading from the UseDivineRe"S" line in the ini, when it should be Z.

I'll fix it up, sorry for the troubles

For some reason, cleric isn't keeping his Aura's up. Is there something I can do to make him auto cast then when needed? He used to, but has stopped, no clue why. Any help is appreciated.

are you in byos? you will want to not be in byos for him to use his auras

BYOS (bring your own spells) is one of the only two things I have noticed which prevents proper buffing / aura usage, even when those spells are part of the memorized spells.
The other is being in PoK or GL or Guildhall zones, and I noticed my cleric would immediately pull up auras if I ported to EW or Stratos or wherever.

well, as mentioned a few times in this thread, the only buff that the cleric is going to redo while having byos turned on is the HPSTBuff which is the lower lvl one - outside of that if you are in BYOS you are not going to cast those spells. it is not "preventing proper buffing / aura usage" you are in byos, which is bring your own spells and handle your own buffs.

We also specifically don't do auras in the "safe zones" like pok or guild lobby as it looks sketch when you move 30 feet in pok and then hit your aura

I want to start by saying great job and thank you for these class plugins. I am using MQ2Eskay, MQ2 Cleric and MQ2Beastlord with a lot of success. The question I have pertains to /clr addclicky. Is there a way to add my Cleric's BP Clicky effect and target my MA or SK in this case? I think I read something that answered this questions, but couldn't find it.

there actually isnt atm, its definitely on our "short list" because i have the same need/want/desire lol

the addclicky question for the clr bp hasn't come up even remotely close to how often i had expected it to lol

Thanks for the quick response! No wonder I couldn't find it! I agree, hard to believe it hasn't come up! I bet on the TLP it would come in handy for that Complete Heal effect on the Ethereal Mist BP.

Thanks buddy. Do you know if there is a way to make it work using something else with it atm that may or may not work?

my clerics are sitting while in combat... how can i get rid of this problem? i've seen others asking for clerics to force sit to med in combat... trust me, you guys do not want it.
situation:
raid mode is on, main assist/tank is in a different group
things are normal, main tank engages in camp, clerics are out of combat, tank drops below threshold, clerics heal him up and are now in combat, but they want to go sit back down! and now they just chain sit while getting stomped until they either die or the mob dies lol. i've tried adding a group assist that is tied to the main assist of the raid to see if that fixes it... nope :(
obviously this doesn't happen in my groups of six when the tank/MA is in the main group, so i feel like i've got a wrong setting somewhere or something is amiss.

you will sit if you are in assist mode - you can be in vorpal more manual if you don't want to be in a camp mode and sit back down between combat

but they should not sit back down if they have mobs on xtarget - you sure you don't have a macro running or an mq2react forcing them to sit down?

I'll double check our raid assist stuff just in case - but let me know about a macro or react sitting you down

hi sic, i think you just helped me solve the issue. let me ask you, if im on a tlp with 5 xtar slots and they are all occupied for oog heals, then technically a mob is not visible on the xtar window and the plugin will think there's no mobs in camp (thus explaining why they are sitting). let me know if that's it. im gunna take 1 oog heal off xtar window and see

yeah that's gonna be it for sure

I have been really happy with IHC for my group cleric currently but the other CWTN plugins I have used have been great. Anyone here that has used both see a major difference? I am also curious on how well the melee works (if it is worth doing for a little extra dps or is it a heal land risk?) Appreciate any feedback on your experiences!

it is not a heal land risk - i even keep melee on during missions often /shrug

as with all the cwtn plugins you can always do a /testcopy (when dbg has that working again) and give all the cwtn plugins a test drive

Hey sic, digging the plugins! Just to confirm... we will never be able to buff anyone not local, correct? I.E. not on the roadmap.

I play with a friend a lot and his toons don't get buffed (per the local requirements set today), so wondering if I need to find an alternative to use while friend is around. Thank you!

not at this time, that is correct.

Question about "missing" spells. So I power leveled an 85 heroic to 110 before buying any spells. At 110 I hit Overthere and bought all my ROS spells. When running /clr missing it's still showing tons of sub-105 spells missing. My question is, does the /clr missing request simply show spells you're missing or are these actually spells the plugin will still use? I hate to have to go buy 60 more spells if they're never even going to get used.

it outputs the spells that the plugin needs - so if it says you are missing then you need them.

likely auras and your remedy spells.

I mean it's outputting 3 lower level Yaulps, when I have the 106 one scribed already:

I was just watching the video on this and its functionality and I had a thought. What about adding in the BST Spirituality line to the blocked buffs when you toggle Yaulp on automagically? Also add text to BattleMode (Turns on nukes) next to it so its obvious for the beginners?

nah, we're not going to auto block people's buffs - this is a huge thing where it would be possible that something is happening that someone didn't know about, and/or don't know how to fix. if they don't block it, they will get buffed when yaulp fades (with mq2bst at least) - and this would behave as expected since they would no longer have a buff that is preventing it from landing on them. There are plenty of spells that prevent other spells from happening - getting into a realm where we're automatically adding things to blocked lists is a nightmare for us and for the users. Let's say someone uses the plugin once, and decides they don't like it but now they have stuff blocked that they didn't know/consent to? just adds nightmares. Its really not that big of a deal for the user to block spells they don't want.

re: nuking - well eventually that will get changed anyhow as we develop more stuff that does things like nuking and debuffing without being in melee combat. Since we're working on shm and ench, once that is all sorted out I'll go back and make those adjustments here. so nah, not going to add any text in here because that's not the long-term

but i getcha, thanks for the thoughts
