Bummer, this causes a pretty large issue when your manapool is fairly limited like it is on TLP. On any fights with AOE or mobs with a DS your tank might get one heal while the entire rest of your manapool is used to spam heal the pet. I hope you will consider adding an option to ignore pets in the future. For now I will get rid of the ench pet and swap my mage out for a different class.
well. since I'm not a mind reader you're going to have to give some more information if you're wanting some help resolving whatever your issue is
1. what lvl are you
2. what spell is it spamming
3. who is it spamming on
4. are you getting any red text messages saying it wouldn't take hold because of X
5. what changed from when it wasn't spamming to now it is spamming?
6. do you have a merc buff on you that is rank 2, but you have a rank 1 you're trying to cast?
7. the character that is getting spam buffed - have you tried zoning them?
I had a character last week that mq2 would echo that they had had a buff even tho i had completely removed all buffs from them entirely, but ${Me.Buff[blah]} was still reporting they had a rank 2 buff from a mercenary - and as such wasn't writing buffs to a file because they didn't have any buffs to write, so we were spam buffing them --- this is clearly an mq2/eq bug and i'd like to be able to find a way to replicate it so i can get the mq2devs on it --- zoning to toon fixed whatever issue they had
saying "Cleric started spam buffing again...." is an absolutely unbelievable lack of information to help you with.

the update? if i remember right mq2eskay was updated, doubt that is the problem.
nope. even clicked off all buffs on the tank
yes. unloaded mq2cwtnbuffs on all and reloaded. tried reload in mq2cleric. tried unload and reinstall. will heal when mob is in camp, but blows all mana just buffing. all toons are in teh same chat server. removed the cleric from group, it stops spamming. doesn't matter the mode the cleric is in, tried them all.
if i uncheck hand and check symbol, it switches to spamming symbol. If i uncheck both, it stays with Righteousness. I havne't used a merc in a long time. tried zoning, tried camping all toons out all the way to desktop and reloading mq2. hasn't worked

so it looks like we solved it.
Cvortexx was running his group on multiple PCs, but mq2cwtnbuffs will only work (and thus the plugins to buff group members) if they are locally accessible in your mq2 release folder toonname_buffs.ini file that is populated by mq2cwtnbuffs. The plugins do not communicate across your network via any chat services.
It sounds like a populated file was copied over to the other computer (mq2cwtnbuffs clears out the file upon exit/unloading) somehow, and so it saw the group member, and the group member had a populated local file (meaning there is stuff in the sections and no sections are missing), and it would cast buffs and then check the buff file to see if you now had the buff.
since the file existed, and was populated, and the buff we were trying to cast was not blocked, and would stack with every buff in the file - we try and cast it.
you can't have a copied, populated file moved over to another pc.
it is unlikely, but as with programming - not impossible that cwtnbuffs didn't wipe your file - did you crash or something the last time your tank was on the other computer? maybe that is how the file got left there and populated? (my suspicion is you copied files over)

well what's concerning is the file gets emptied when you exit mq2 or unload mq2cwtnbuffs - so it being empty wouldn't cause this issue to happen
you can open the file in notepad++ and then unload cwtnbuffs and then click back to notepad++ and show it refreshed as empty file.
if you are certain you didn't copy a populated file - if you figure out a way to force the file to not get wiped when it exits - like maybe in a crash or something, that could be useful
Group heals are hard coded in with some checks and such, no way to adjust value

What i met to say is, word of Health does not load .....i wasnt sure if it was to low or something ,
Usually when i buy a new spell and memorize it of any importance it goes on my spell bar automatically
i love all these plugins, I find that 90% of the problems is operator error ....you made it pretty easy but im still learning stuff

probably because loading word needs a UseCures off because we use the WordCure line with usecures on - I can see how that is stupid for super low lvl / tlp - i'll see what adjustment i can do
yup, that is the HPSTBuff line - where if you didn't have symbol you use aego.
are you getting any red eq messages that it didn't take hold?
does your chanter actually have the buff
is mq2cwtnbuffs loaded on your chanter?
is your chanter locally to the same pc/install as your cleric
can you confirm that that was the case? if you didn't have mq2cwtnbuffs loaded it shouldn't have buffed your dude anyhow
Couple of questions from a level 80 cleric user:
1) Why does it load 2 remedies? It loads Solemn Remedy and Sacred Remedy, but over 3 hours of use now and it has never once cast the lower level one (sacred).
2) I had Mark of the Devoted rk. 3 loaded when I started MQ2Cleric up for the first time and it did not remove it from my 3rd spell slot. It has never cast it, however. Why?
3) What is the group heal logic? I have had the entire group below half life on several occasions and the cleric is spamming remedies on everyone and not using the group elixer (Elixer of atonement) or group heal (word of vivacity) or clestial regeneration (group HOT AA).
4) Why does he mem reviviscense when he has the AA Blessing of Resurrection?
5) He does not mem or use Solemn Light or 11th hour (a great low life fast heal) Why is this?
This is going to be harsh, but honest. So far for me, this has only buffed my group (which it does well) and spammed Solemn remedy (the quick heal for my level), promised heal, and very little else. I must emphasize that it seems to lean very, very heavily on the quick heal. Which does not seem to have the punch it needs at my level.

1. Because remedy is a very fast, very efficient heal spell and we use 2 remedies once we can. you can always byos if you want to do your own spell line up.
1.b if it is not casting your second remedy it is likely that your 1st remedy is coming back off of cooldown before you need to cast again either due to tank health, or whatnot. the remedy innately are 1.75 cast time (plus gcd) and a 1s recast
2. As i have it now you need to be in melee combat for mq2cleric to nuke and do things like DSing on mobs. This will likely get updated later, but this is how it is for now.
3. group heal logic is checking for 3+ members at 75% health and your heal spell is ready - you will need to make sure you have mq2cwtnbuffs on everyone for any of the hots to cast on folks, because we're tracking the durations. the plugins cycle very quickly and we don't wait for anything - if it checks if you are ready to cast a group heal and you are not ready to cast - like gcd, then it continues doing checks for stuff it can do. I suspect tho you likely don't have mq2cwtnbuffs loaded so its not going to do any of the HoTs
3.b due to the way cleric have similar spell lines that do cures and not cures we don't cast the regular "Word" line with usecures on - which is actually stupid and i will adjust this --- it should only check to use the cure ones for ones that do curing, and not-not do other stuff if you have cures on but have the non curing one memorized. this is my fault and i will update it. (this is likely your issue)
4. because that slot is typically for your cureall spell which you get Perfected Blood at 94, and rez is just tossed in there to have it memorized
5. because Seventeenth line is typically put in your 11th gem slot which you get at Mnemonic retention rank 3 during UF at lvl 80 (and we use seventeenth if you don't have retort and retort turned on.
once you get to lvl 83 you get holy intervention and will start also using your intervention healing line which significantly changes how clerics work (first contravention is at 85)
Clerics are a bit janky in the 70s until the early-mid 80s where they didn't appear sure what they wanted to do with their spell lines.
As always, you can byos and use your own spell line up.
I'll make an adjustment to also memorize your seventeenth spell in the cureall slot if you have the rez aa already (which you get at 65/SoF)

we did quite a bit of testing in the super low lvl, and I ran multiple crews through 85-115 doing various content (and all of tov and tbl missions and such) so I can understand your frustration

- If you don't have the Cureall line, we will memorize your seventeenth line if you do have the blessing of resurrection AA
- You will no longer memorize CureAll in gem 7 if you have cures off - this only applies to memorizing, it wouldn't have cast it before regardless, but now we won't memorize it
- We will now memorize Word if either we have usecures off OR if we don't have a wordcure

I'm absolutely loving MQ2Cleric with one exception.... I'm tired of having to open dashboard, click BYOS, mem my "Unified Hand of Righteousnes" spell, buff someone manually(Because I want to) and then uncheck BYOS and close Dashboard.
Is there nowhere I can go to manually assign just one slot to keep that mem'd at all times?

I just hit my /clr pause on hotkey, men and cast the spell, then hit /clr pause off. I have those keys anyway, and it makes it nice and quick. Could be fancier and put it all on one hotkey, but this works for me.
You could also put the BYOS on a hotkey rather than opening up a dashboard, clicking a box, etc.

out of curiosity how do you normally exit the game? I can definitely get mq2cwtnbuffs to not delete entries after trying to force bad behavior
and we have a solution for the issue too
but if you can just hollar at me and let me know how you normally exit the game - /camp, /camp desktop, /exit, /quit, turn off PC, burn down house, crash etc

any thought to adding splash heals? it certainly would help my out of group extended target style.
it does splash heals if you memorize them - well specifically it does splash heals on your group target if you have them memorized - based on how we determine how to use a splash heal, there's not really a good way to do that on xtarget since it is a group heal - it would end up having to use splash as a single target heal, which is tricky to determine when to do that over other stuff - I guess I could do some logic that would check your xtarget as a group and then use it - but it wouldn't know as to if those characters were grouped or not so might get false positives of when to cast it
but i can look into it
