Plugin - MQ2Cleric (3 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

I was looking at my cleric servername_toonname file and noticed I have MQ2Heals=1. Not sure where or how this happened, but I wanted to ask if I need it for MQ2Cleric?

no mq2heals is un-related to mq2cleric

like all the cwtn plugins that use buffs - currently you will need to load mq2kissbuffs on any toon that needs buffs (which means they need to be local to your PC and/or connected to that kissbuffs file
if you use eqbc /bcaa //plugin mq2kissbuffs load

I have mq2kissbuffs loaded. Cleric only seems to buff when the clerics buffs faded. Cleric memorizes shining but never casts it. Cleric is also not curing restless ice.

well this appears to be related to your buffing issue as the curing utilizes the kissbuffs file to know what needs to be cured - are all these characters sharing the same macroquest 2 directory? and just to be clear - each character needs to have mq2kissbuffs loaded

I'm running on 3 separate computers, connecting to EQBC2 and all have mq2kissbuffs plugin loaded.

I really appreciate the help Sic. I've used several of your hotkeys and watched a few of your youtube videos.

currently unless your kissbuffs file is somehow shared across those PCs you're not going to be able to buff across multiple PCs

Interesting. Ok, I can try running the cleric and tank on the same PC.

Moving cleric over to the same computer as the tank fixed it. Buffing and curing is working great.

Hey guys,

Been grinding some of the tbm lvls recently and first time really using a camp feature.

But it seems my rogue mercs with MQ2 cleric just autoruns and attacks anything i pull before it gets back to camp. If i turn autoassist off it just stands there. If there a assistat control for mercs like in kiss?

you need to set the in-game role of your cleric to "puller".

Even if hes not pulling? I run out on the war, pull and before the mob gets back to camp the mercs runnin out. Assist is set at 95%

I assumed you were moloing with the cleric. Whomever is pulling should have the role. However, the distance and hp% that the merc will engage at is hard coded into the game and mercs are dumb so there's that.

Well that's a potential option to handle what you want. However, kissassist is an extremely robust macro just to handle mercs. It's possible to achieve what you are wanting without running a 14,000+ line macro.

I don't believe there is a lightweight option available at this time to do it however.

But as far as there not being a fix, have you set the puller role as suggested by @SA_krycek ? Did that not help you any?

I did but since the cleric wasnt pulling it didnt do much.Also added puller to the tank, still didnt do much =)

Effectively had to create a social to turn autoassist on and off with each mob =/

Even when I used mercs they weren't that bad. How far out are we talking here? They should stay with the group and not follow the puller, assuming roles are set correctly. They do have a generous range so you can't really expect them to stay put in a small corner.

Into the temple b was campign middle of one of the big rooms, the merc would run down a hallway i was pulling from..... a good distance.

So I have to turn it off, any suggestions on how to fix that? Thanks.

there is a current issue with mq2kissbuffs after zoning/dying - go to that character and manually click off a buff, it should clear up your buff file and then go back to normal.

Q. My Cleric is spam buffing over and over.
A. This is due to a desync issue with mq2kissbuffs - It is likely only occuring after zoning or after being rezzed (which zones you)
You will need to manually click off a buff on that character, or unload and then reload mq2kissbuffs to get the file to update correctly.
We will be making changes in the future that should eliminate this issue. We understand it is a pain in the backside. Sorry.

not to beat a dead horse here, but this is in pre-release form because its not ready for actual release yet =p

The kissbuffs thing is something that is constantly trying to be solved, and we have updates this build for rezzing priority.

you can turn off melee with /clr domelee off

as far as not doing anything that is very unusual

is your tank set as tank/ma in your group window?
mq2cleric will break inviis to heal if you have a camp set (like assist mode as you show) so shouldn't fail there even if you were invis

Oh i just noticed you are lvl 1 --- mq2cleric doesn't have heals/heals stuff atm unfortunately so the lower lvl type heals/heals spells aren't going to work at all until that gets updated

So I have my cleric set to cast yaulp but then it immediately sits down , removing the yaulp buff. Is there a setting Im missing somewhere to keep the cleric standing?

Clr mode 0 wont sit, but still heals. If ur in mode 1 it will sit out of combat, this is intended

I have a request for future consideration :-) I'm very forgetful and tend to leave my cleric invised when they shouldn't be. Can you post a message when invis is preventing the cleric from casting? Just some kind of indicator that all is good and I just need to remove invis.

well - i use mq2status and do a /bcga //status to check if my toons are invis - mq2cleric will start healing while invis if a camp is set (so like clr mode 1 - but will not break invis to heal if in a mode that doesn't have a camp like mode 0)

Before doing rezzes my cleric is trying to summon the corpse, but he keeps spamming you do not have consent to summon the corpse and everything stalls......how does mq2cleric get auto consent from dead toons?

I am still very new at using this and think I have figured out most of the things with EQcleric. How do buffs work though? I toggled BYOS on but do I need to have the most current buff set memmed in order for mq2cleric to grab them? My cleric is currently level 40.

There are some lower lvl updates going in next build - right now its really optimized for 85+ play, and in fact, doesn't even heal at low lvl (assuming on live server).
you need byos turned off if you want to memorize and buff your crew --- if you have byos on and you have your hp buff you will use it, however.

Thanks Sic! Still learning this stuff. Last night I started autorunning to zone in and could not figure out how to stop my bard, my buddy was on discord laughing his ass off at me. If that gives you any clue how inept I am =D

bards are tricky - you have the /end (or /mqp on to pause the macro) AND /twist off to stop twisting ---- that catches a lot of folks
