MQ2Cleric

Plugin - MQ2Cleric (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

I thought I would try this out with my mq2war, but clearly, not sure how to begin. Both are level 43 and used two melee dps mercs. The cleric did nothing.

war role needs to be main tank also sometimes it bugs on me and does nothing cast one heal while running mq2cleric and it should take off by its self after that

Thank you. I tried a set of 51 cleric and 59 war in The Hole. The cleric would not heal, even after using heals. The command box kept displaying STUCK. The Warrior set role as tank and then I tried setting mode to tank, but the warrior kept sitting down and would not attack. Finally got a mob close enough to use throw stone. The mob attacked, but the warrior did not respond until I hit autoattack. Meanwhile, the cleric would not cast a heal. I'm confused as to what is occurring.

Lower level testing hasn't really been accomplished at this point. Sadly, this is the life of an alpha plugin. Currently a lot of focus has been put into the higher levels and lower level testing has not yet been done. Hopefully will be able to move into the lower level testing soon.

Thank you for the prompt reply.

Can you explain for me why the MQ2Warrior just kept sitting down refusing to use ranged attack or even move in tank and pullertank mode? Is this also a low-level problem?

Is there a command or something I can do to make the cleric sit to Med when lower on mana? And don’t know if I ever would need it but also a way to get him to stay on a mount? He always dismounts when I try.
I would search more on the forums but I’m at work and I just thought about it.

he will med if you are in mode 1 (assist mode)

you can /cler autodismount off if you don't want to auto dismount

follow up question. Mode 1 makes him melee also which makes him die more where he rarely ever dies if out of combat. No way to make him Med if In mode 0?

you can do /cler domelee off to turn off using melee
you can /cler showcommands to see all the command options

did you have a mob if you want warrior to pull you need to set it to pullertank

sometimers the casters/healers mana bar on your puller gets bugged just click there name in yor group window to fix that gets my puller pulling again

- Currently it doesn't appear to heal mercs in party.
- Currently doesn't seems to use Elixir (HoT) spells
yeah i started adding in the HoT stuff - which is lower priority since it isn't used much in current tier - coincidentally i did already add the group hot if you were using byos and had it memmed

I'll look into the merc thing - not sure why it wouldn't treat them like a group member

What lvl are you? and you're using byos on I assume? (or you could be lower lvl where i have it memming HoT, even tho i didn't add HoT yet (I actually did add this and some other stuff that got accidentally deleted on a git situation, i'll be working on re-adding those this week.)

115 with max AA, didnt have BYOS on as im not sure what it does. Perhaps i missed the write up on cleric commands. Wasnt sure what that one did and by default its off so I left it that way.

Also noticing an odd bug with cleric that causes him to sit/stand non stop in rapid succession while not in combat and also straif side to side rapidly when in combat. Not sure what causes this but its random when it occures.

there is no write up atm because its in alpha and not even a beta release --- the "out of the box" is non-byos --- which means you don't bring your own spells --- which means unless you're low lvl it isn't going to use HoTs beacuse they are meh. if you used a byos it will use what you have memorized and not do any automatic spell memming including the swapping to buff and swap back (but currently doesn't have duration heal logic if you do use byos

sounds like you're trying to run a macro with it? - you can /cleric domelee off if you don't want to do melee stuff (also doublecheck that /cler battlemode off) if you don't want to do melee/battle stuff

I generally play with 5 toons and a BL friend. if he dies cleric doesnt auto rebuff him. which he isnt in kissbuffs so understandable. but it wont let me pop the aego spell in. is there a way to pause it so i can manually cast a buff on someone? besides unloading the plugin anyway.

I’ve been unloading as well when I need to cast a non preset spell. I think if you toggle byos, you should be able to memorize different spell without unloading it.

if you are using any cwtn plugins you should plugin mq2kissbuffs load on all of your characters - and then it will do all your buffing as the character will then be in the file (mq2kissbuffs writes to the same file that kissassist does, and the buffing logic checks that file - this will be explained once i do a video and it gets added a resource - even if its before its actually released, planning on doing a video, probably this week)

otherwise you would use byos and do it yourself

Hey guys,
My 1st question is how can I set the Cleric to pop the campfire and click it to return if they die. I do not know how to use it on MQ2War as well.

2nd question is How do I set the Cleric to pup his mount in outdoor zones? I own the Glowing Black Drum for this cleric but different mounts for other cleric account.

I tried using /cler addclicky, but not working out for me. Thanks for any assistance.

you can get the cwtn plugins to set your campfire with /cler docampfire on - this just handles the placing of the campfire, and not returning with it (at least for now).

For your mount you would want to add the /cler addclicky downtime while holding your mount - then you would do /cler autodismount off so you don't automatically dismount (this option defaults to on which allows you to ensure you always have the buff from the mount and not always be mounted)

I believe Sic misunderstood that your friend isn't on the same computer with you :-P.

In order to do some manual buffing for a friend you would need to /cler byos on which will turn on Bring Your Own Spells

That will allow you to manually memorize the spell you want to buff them with, then cast it on them. Then once finished you can use /cler byos off so that the cleric goes back to automatically handling their spell lineup themselves.

I got it figured out in a round about way. Thanks for all your guys help

Sic,
1. Does the DoCampfirework the same on MQ2War as well? Meaning it does not yet have the war click back using campfire upon death?
2. I tried doing exactly what you mentioned hoping that was how it would work for the mount, what happened was that the cleric wound up casting the mount continually, so even with autodismount off, he was basically casting it then casting again and removing the mount, then doing it over and over. I will try it again in the case I did something a little different.
3. Does the plugin recognize indoor zones and outdoor zones for a mount purpose? I'm generally very happy with my purchase of MQ2War and my testing with MQ2Cleric and MQ2Bst. I hope to test out EsKay soon.

Edit: Ok, just updating, I did do again what you said Autodismount was off and adding the clicky with downtime setting made the cleric stuck in a forever loop of continual casting the Glowing Black Drum (which also removes the mount too). Hope its an easy fix.

1. yes campfire is same across all the cwtn plugins
2. I just logged in a toon to double check --- I have my mount addded to downtime, then I do a /cler autodismount off and i click off my mount buff (so it recasts the mount)
3. yes

for the mount buff - what is stopping your mount from taking place? if you are autodismounting then we should double check your settings - if it isn't taking hold for another reason we should look at what red error message you are getting. are you getting the mount blocked by something? or do you have it on your blocked buffs?

Hi Sic,
I just tried it again, first verifying Autodismount is off, then /cler addclicky downtime while holding the drum. It accepts the command and begins to cast the mount, but will continually cast. There is no red error message, it says in MQ window Using Item: Glowing Black Drum. it casts it immediately and gives me only a sply second to hold the drum again to /cler removeclicky downtime so it will stop casting the drum. The mount spell is not blocked as once I remove the addclicky command I can cast the mount manually and it stays for the six hour length as normal. it will not recast after it expires nor will the cleric sit down to med. So all fighting stops while the war awaits the cleric to get mana. odd right? I verified KA is also not running on the cleric.

I am noticing the cleric doesn't seem to heal non MA outside of combat. I often find my enchanter at 50-70 health after a fight and cleric won't heal them outside of combat. So my war end up waiting for the enchanter to heal slowly. I messed around with the !Ma quickheal setting but it doesn't seem to apply outside of combat. Any other setting I should mess with?

the inside and outside of combat heal section is the same, only difference is how it does the check - for the "out of combat" as long as you are not invis or you have a camp set (like in a mode 1), it will heal just as if you were in combat. I've never had it not heal someone - i also run "stock" settings - ma quick heal is 99, not ma is 75, you could likely bump that up. like /cler nonmaquickheal 90 --- just be warned you wouldn't want to do this if you have a berzerker with a health limiter

Today was the first time I've played in a week or two and noticed that my cleric's spell gems are getting stuck again and I'm having to click yaulp manually to get them unstuck.

sounds like you might not be patched? there was a bug introduced a couple patches ago which we updated

I noticed that xtarget healing is a listed option however it does not appear to be working. Placeholder option or is it not completed yet?

it is very early testing - but it was working well when i updated it

you should be able to /cler doxtargethealing on and adjust the value with /cler xtargetheal # and if you have PCs in your xtarget it should heal them at that xtarget healvalue
