I reorganized my git repo. Now all the plugins are located in the same Repo. redbot asked if I would mind if he released plugins that were in progress for free and I said I do not mind. Bug reports are not needed for any of the free plugins at this time. Technically they're so pre-alpha that I don't even know if I'm going to change the name of the plugin :-).

you can mem your aego in slot 6 and it'll cast it - but buffing logic is still getting sorted so have to manually load it for the time beingTried this today but sadly it seems like its far from release?

/cler byos on and then unmemming the spell --- the character is likely not a cwtn class plugin toon ---the next update will have more robust checks and should help with any false positives--- in the mean time ensure you have
/plugin mq2kissbuffs load for everyone(next version also has a toggle off to not use it)

byos is for bring your own spells - currently, it will only handle re-buffing if you are not using byos or if you have the spell memmed, so if you wanted to use your own spellset you would want to handle buffs yourself (or with kiss like you mentioned)
no, will cast it during downtime - but your toons need to be running
/plugin mq2kissbuffs load (they can run kiss, but the plugin updates in real time) so the cleric can "see" what buffs they haveHrm - it is possible there is a stacking issue with something you have?
It is also checking for the trigger buffs from the spell so it doesn't spam it
I turned off mq2cleric and cast it manually, nothing seems to be blocking it. Turned the plugin back on and canceled the Shining Aegis buffs manually and cleric didn't rebuff at rest. Only thing that differ from yours is I have rank 1. Can't really think of anything else. BYOS is indeed off. I have combat mode on, and BYOS off, not sure what else would effect it.
well there are a few things that would stop it from casting it - especially not finding that character in the kissassist_buffs.ini - it is set to only cast on your MainAssist, so you would need your tank as your main assist in your group window - Shinig doesn't care about byos or not byos - it just casts it if you meet the conditions that it can be sure it can cast it, and it is on your ma
if you're trying to do this out of group - it is not going to work at this time as there is currently no out of group support.

I am looking in the ini file and instead of name, i am seeing what I am assuming is spawn number? I have one character with my role flagged as tank but I did not see main assist role anywhere.
I also run multiple groups with different warrior tanks in different zones. They're not in raid configuration nor are they near each other. Not sure if that makes a difference. Is there a debug method that I can use?
It's also spamming me that I am missing heroic bond, not sure if that would mess it up.

the number in the file is the ID of the character, and it checks based on that --- so it says what is the ID of the MA --- let's check that ID for buffs
Righteousness gets checked to everyone in your group - Ward and Shining and DI etc only get checked to your MA
like i mentioned before, it is possible that there is another spell that matches the triggers from the spell and the spells it casts it would skip it
for example if you still had shining defense on you but shining aegis was missing - it won't recast it because of the checks it has to avoid spamming and such
this spell is particularly weird, it may take some going through buffs to see which ones are having issues with it and seeing what can be done about considerations for that spell/trigger/buff
and just to be clear - I am not saying or implying that you're wrong or that you are doing something wrong - I'm just saying it is finding some reason not to cast the buff - and once we figure that out we can make accommodations for it.
yeah real interesting - I killed a bunch of stuff today without issue - I wonder if something is whacky on test build - regardless if/when you get a chance shoot me the dump on discord or in PM and i'll take a lil peakarino
Been using this for the past week or so and its been great. tonight in ToFS, i wiped came back with the cleric and after he rezed everyone he was just spamming hand of righteousness and i couldnt get him to stop except /cler byos on. up to and including unloading and reloading the plugin.
can you give me some more information on that?
the plugin tries to find any and all reason NOT to cast it on somebody. and would default to not casting it
Who was it casting on?
Were they in range?
Did they have righteousness already?
are you running mq2kissbuffs plugin on every person? (if you're not it should default to not buffing if it doesn't see the character in the file, but it helps us track it down)

sure, it was trying to cast it on my monk who is not using mq2monk. he was standing right next to him so in range. he already had it and no he is not running mq2kissbuffs (i have to find that plugin and download it). the cleric was just rezzed himself so had rez sickness and no mana, he would med enough to cast HoR, cast it and repeat. if theres any other info i can help with ill be more then happy to.
hrm interesting - if a character is not found in the kissbuffs file (which kissassist, mq2kissbuffs, and the cwtn class plugins use) then it should default to "yes it has it don't recast"

/plugin mq2kissbuffs on everyone and that should help (its an included plugin so you don't have to do anything fancy with itthe "unreleased but in-the-works" cwtn plugins are in your VV already
