MQ2BerZerker

Plugin - MQ2BerZerker (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Question about behaviour. Just turned 69 and memmed Destroyers Volley. I had Rage Axes in range/ammo slots. It went through the process of summoning Axe of the Destroyer x200, but did not swap out the current Rage axes in range/ammo. I assumed I should, but when I attempted to while plugin was active (not paused), it would not let me. Usually, with every other plugin, you have 15 secs to do something with items before autoinventory. The plugin prints the message I have 15s, but it was instantaneous returned back to inv. By design? Bug? Am I doing it wrong?
By design.
The check that auto inventories summoned axes is actually done before the 15s auto inventory check, but the code whizzes by so fast that the /autoinv command hasn't actually moved them to your inventory before it goes to check for something remaining on the cursor.

So while the immediate autoinv is by design, technically telling you that you have 15s to work with it is a bug for those items because of the way summoning works I want to autoinv it immediately in case I need to summon more.

Pausing is the right way to handle them manually.

Summoned items are instantly dropped.

Btw, you don't have to have them in ranged or ammo to do anything unless you are trying to use them as actual ranged/ammo items.

Just let the plugin do it's job, if you want to do something manually, pause or unload the plugin

Thanks you two! I just made an assumption that if it was going to summon those axes, they needed to be in the ranged/ammo slots. Good to know. The berserkers are really coming into their own dps wise now. I have seen burst dps on a burn now in the 2k dps range., and on normal mobs they sit at 800-1k. It's nutty, things die so quick.

I have a minor issue that's been plaguing me. It's nothing serious it's nothing critical, but I would like to try to get to the bottom of it. I run a macro where my characters run through a dungeon instance. That means an awful lot of run and gun fighting. But my zerker routinely gets stuck and left behind the group. I can't turn him, I can't duck, and I sure can't move him.

You might be thinking it's due to an illusion, like Juggernaut Surge, but I blocked that illusion, and my berserker is a dwarf, so he sure not going to get stuck on the geometry. I have noticed when he gets stuck that there is a yellow line to the rest of the party, which is from auto follow. (See attached picture) I've watched for him moving when short term buffs wear off but there isn't one.

I can confirm that this only happens with the plug-in. I tried running the zerker using KA and he never got stuck once. Obviously I don't believe it's the fault of the plug-in directly, just that is using an AA or disc that makes him get stuck. Any ideas what would be?

Check FAQ.

Q. Sometimes my berzerker won't chase the MA.
A. Probably have Frenzied Resolve Discipline as their currently active disc, which roots you in place. Sometimes this can be annoying. You can /zerk UseFrenied off, to turn off that ability. But be aware that significantly reduces your overall average DPS. We automatically click off frenzied resolve if you're in chasemode and stuck behind your MA.

Frenzied resolve roots you in place.

Using ka must mean you are doing sub par dps by not using it.

If u are in chaellse mode you will click it off if your ma gets too far away l. I recommend just moving around in chase mode.

If you want to do lower dose, you can turn off usefrenzied

Hello, question:

i seldom see my berserker not engaging in attacks when in assist mode after he has me rezed. other than that works perfect. might there be a setting i can change for him to re-engage after rez? thanks

He'll re-engage the next time the assist gets a target. Just have your assist clear target and re-acquire for the berserker to kick in.

Have your ma clear and retarget to reassign > explained here <

Also please post in the correct discussion thread.

Title says it all, is there a way to add an AA ability to mq2berzerker, for instance. Trying to add Decapitation so it'll automatically cast (Emu Server)

Please make sure to post in the appropriate existing discussion thread.

No, unfortunately, there is no way to add something.

Since you can run a concurrent macro with mq2berzerker. I would solve your need that route.

Or a react with mq2react is also an easy solution

once macroquest is fully converted for emu usage, it *may* be something we look at - emus vary quite a lot and aren't directly supported because of the varying needs of different and custom and unique servers.

My zerks don't seem to be summoning axes automatically since the latest patch, is it possible something got turned off that I'm unaware of? I have the correct components. Thanks.

There are a couple of updates since you patched (build 359 vs current 361)

Mq has been patched a couple of times, hit the updater and you should be good to go.

UseBloodFury doesn't seem to be turning off Stinging Incision (The upgrade to Ritual Scarification) so my zerkers have been bleeding to death when out working on old hunter achieves. You can't even click it off so get to just sit and watch them purple it out. =/

usebloodfury means we don't use the limiter ability, so we wouldn't be using stinging incision (or ritual scarification, or open wound) - I would double check you don't have anything else firing the ability. and or that you actually have "UseBloodFury" turned on

We only use limiter if you have usebloodfury turned off

Heya, have a 61 zerker on a regular server. He Has the axe components required to summon Battlerage Axe (best axe for level). However, he wont summon them, only "rage axe". Looking at the plugin, i think it shows Battlerage axe as the axe it should be summoning.

yes, because your dvolley is "rage volley" so we say your axe summon is rage axe, because that what Rage Volley needs. depending on what abilities you have, we may use multiple axe summons.

there does not appear to be any problem here.

I have been having issues w/ shrouding to Lvl 5 zerk to level up Bloodmetal Inlaid Gnollish Totem.

For what it's worth, the toons are already zerkers, shrouding down to Lvl 5 Zerk Gnoll. Thus far I have not been able to make my MQ2BerZerker plugin work after I shroud down.

Q- Is there work on the back-end to be done to help this work?
Q- Should I be able to use MQ2BerZerker for other classes that shroud down to Lvl 5 Gnoll Zerk?
Q- Other thoughts?

We intentionally do not allow the plugins to function while shrouded based on the fact that shrouds work differently than an actual character of that class. While some things may remain the same, others don't remain the same. This issue was discovered when we were working with old man mckenzie stuff and opted to not have the plugins work while shrouded as shrouds are not the priority at the moment.

They're not *actually* the same abilities so they don't work the same as cwtn mentioned

for shroud leveling, use PocketFarm macro.

Question, is there a way to have the chars using the cwtn plugins to not sit down between pulls? They can be at 100% and still sit between pulls. It's making it very obvious to whoever is looking

I think they follow the MA so you would need to have your MA not sit

use vorpal (would only sit if your ma sits) or manual mode

assist mode they're going to return to camp and sit down

I think they follow the MA so you would need to have your MA not sit
this is not the case for assist mode.

Welcome to the family.

I would defer to those with more experience than with Zerkers, but from what I have gathered, Zerkers do not start to come into their own until somewhere around level 100.

Regarding auto attack, make sure the Zerker is set to assist the Main tank/ main assist. If you mean MQ2Bezerker, as far as a plug-in, Sic has excellent videos.
